Jesus I’d think I wouldn’t thought I’d died and gone to heaven. For a start the screen looks so much better than most back then. The thing would’ve looked like magic to me. I had a spectrum 48k so I can c why
Let me Guess your Wife is not into Gaming, alot of Girls are not into Gaming you would have to be Super Ultra Lucky to Find a Girl who is into Gaming, it's Sad and Disgraceful.
You just got a new sub for taking me back to video game heaven. I'm a 43 old veteran father of 1 and i remember , 85% minimally, the games and systems you showed. Good stuff sir !
Thank God I noticed this video... This is exactly the thing I was dreaming about for the last 30 years!!! AMIGA, C64, MAME, NEOGEO in one box, incredible!!!
which romsets would you prefer for launchbox ? Ive added nes no intro but i get tons of games with no boxart on launchbox and some games fro mthe same game title have their own boxes even though they are pretty much identical games liek for example batman Returns USA and batman Returns JPN
for romsets try looking on Wikipedia for the full number of games released for that console usually you will find a romset with the roms named correctly its all in the names of the roms no doubt you will still have to go through and rename some roms to get artwork/movies in launcbox but as i said its all about the name sof the roms even one letter out of place and you wont get artwork.. good luck and go on launcbox youtube channel for tutorials :)
+WordSandStorm When I discovered the Neo rage in the early 2000s. I missed out on a hell of alot of sex with my the (seriously perfect body ) girlfriend. From Ninja Masters to Mark of the Wolves constant playing ALL!! night. And I would do it again If I discovered something that that would have made me run across a dual carriage way as a kid.
I know this video is almost 3 years old but do you think you could do a follow up to it? I'm so close to actully buying one for myself and you did a great job (better then any other video) showing it off. I would love to see a 3 years later review sometime! :D
rock man no palm rest.. too expensive IMO 20 bucks for the wood, 15 bucks for tmolding , 75.00 for the LED screen, 300 for the computer parts, 100 bucks for the joysticks and spinner, 10 bucks for the speakers , software free. Total cost to build ... 2000 profit
this would have been a Dream for us kids back in the 80's. The amount of quarters spent on these games back then was unbelievable! But I miss the whole Arcade experience, all the games, the sounds, people cheering you on. It was an incredible time.
YES! putting your quarters up and waiting eagerly to try the newest game. There was a social element to the arcade scene that sadly most kids will never know.
That is one seriously amazing machine. Not only does it have every game ever made but it runs super fast and super smooth - it loads the games so quickly and with excellent graphics and load screens. I've never seen anything like this run so well.
Graphics look legit. Looks like a good system/ machine. Has a lot of popular games from past. Funny because there was a real competition in the arcades for the customer quarter. Strange to see so many games in same machine. I MISS THE ARCADES ! Great video. 🎮 Pacman Lives !
I can't quite afford to buy this but I would love to try making one myself using my old PC, monitor and parts to make the cabinet. I found out that the program that is being used here is called Hyperspin. There are some tutorials on youtube if anyone else would like to try doing this themselves.
The cabinet is the hardest part, and that's saying something. All the software can be grabbed online in seconds. Get a frontend, find a "reputable" site for roms, and you're away. Any games you want to play from your childhood at your fingertips.
ive had mame forever now and never really played it that much until i got a real arcade joystick. man i cant stop playing through old games lol. beat a few every day now.
you need to message gabriel personally through his website, he accepts bank cards but since his currency is in euro's you need to use an app like transferwise to convert the usd to euro's.
Where could I get just the “system” with all of these games I am trying to build my own arcade cabinet and need to buy the computer system like this to use in it
This machine is expensive, but all you need if you're into retro gaming. I have a modded XBOX with Mame, but doesn't have the original arcade feel of joysticks, buttons, and loud speakers! Now I want one of these machines
CrazyBadCuber awesome review. Wouldn’t it be cool if you can be a kid again and having this? Playing with your friends, parents and siblings. Memories. Thank you for sharing this.
This would be awesome if the ARCADE Accepted Dollars from your friends each time your friends wanted to PLAY Also if we could play with people around the world Please, Please, SOON!
The machine looks gorgeous. The only problem though is that I could see is that would get pretty cramped if 2 adults were to try to play on this thing.
Nostalgic, My gaming computer has all these and more. Nothing like the cool arcade set up you have but still the same feel. I do like the portability of the cab though.
@Tony Ishmeal Well depends on the clone, non-clone, single stick set, duel stick set. But the collection on this videos collection blows either the Pandora's 3a or clone versions out of the water in terms of system shown. So yeah, you have to assume the system in the video requires a bit more internal effort on the system maker vs Pandora's (clones) in regards to the amount of effort put into the software collection and effort. You can get either a 3a system for around 120$ average on alibaba, or a Pandora clone for as little as 90$ or even just go for a Jamma based plug in system for around 60$ but requires a bit more work and effort to make it a bar top or cabinet or just a stand alone or retrofit it into a 1up. It's rather impressive.
@Tony Ishmeal I just got one for £75 with an ebay 15% off code... gonna get a bartop cabinet not too different from the one in the video for another £75.. £150 job done.
Shit like this is what inspired me to start building a collection of games on LaunchBox. I don’t have no arcade cabinet to put the stuff on, but _do_ use a Win Max 2 that I can hook up to a TV or play handheld like the Switch, and can use the built in controller, an external controller, or an arcade stick. Shits awesome!
Very nice machine. I could waste an hour on that but there's so much stuff in it that I think it's possible to west your whole life if you really like that kind of toys.
Check out The Chaos Foundry. They're located in Lugarno, Sydney. They build one like this with a 24" screen for $995 with 30,000 games. Yes not a typo - 30,000 games!!! I'm thinking of getting a custom built one from these guys. Enjoy!
Four USB 3.0 ports in the front of the machine where you can add more games or to add any USB device like light-gun ,steering wheel, Joystick or joypad (most new hardware will net to be setup first in emulator of course).
Yes, I'm from The Netherlands by the way.. I have several machines from TinyArcade UK, 75in1 Hyperspin and 3 JAMMA arcade machines and the 114in1, all for my mancave ;) Gabriel makes great machines, he's the best imo.
Nice. In my area back in the earliest 90’s , the guile move was called Touch of Death. Can continue to throw even when the enemy is still down. Coolest glitch ever!
Where in the title does it say "The world agrees this is the world's best arcade machine"? It's obviously my opinion man. Enjoy the video, quit nitpicking stupid shit.
A video titled "The Worlds BEST Arcade Machine" is a pretty gargantuan claim to make and not a whole lot different to "The world agrees this is the world's best arcade machine". You should have went for a less clickbaity title like "Amazing Arcade machine".
well i dont think that would be the problem, more so if they sold the cab with roms and BIOS files to run the roms, and it looked like there was SF4 on there too which is a new game
oh so your going to be a snitch then i'm guessing? so if the company did get shut down i'll blame you. also if you built your own it would be the same, as you put it before it's illegal. anyway who cares if it is illegal or not i doubt anyone is bothered unless someone snitches and spoils it for everyone else.
WordSandStorm wow what an asshole you must be in life. I bet you treat people like shit like on yahoo answers. I bet you do not know everything and ask the dumbest common sense questions like a clueless person. You must be a liberal.
