Baaaabyyyy, when I say I needed this..cause yesterday I jacked up my mashed potatoes from scratch. They were stiff and tasted like a stiff white blanket. I usually get it right. I made your cabbage recipe & they loved it and complained less about the potatoes.

Looks great, going to try the chicken broth for sure! One more thing I do is add powdered Ranch dressing, it is amazing. It is also good in potato salad if you are making it from scratch.

Call me strange but I like my mashed potatoes with skin on, lumpy and buttery with chives. Does anyone else like them like that? I never see videos of lumpy mashed potatoes...

the potato with skin on taste more potatoey. lumpy potatoe make it taste like potato instead of mixture of seasonings. i use fork to smash my mashed potato, perfect texture

Yes, I have you can use that. It just takes so much longer to melt and has many preservatives... I definitely prefer Block Parmesan

What are the seasonings? Ive always made instant potatoes. Im trying to get more potassium and vitamins in my diet. I dont think dehydrated flakes have nearly the same if any... I tried to make real mashed tatoes tonight. They was "ocky", for lack of more educated words. Hence why im watching videos on what I did wrong.
