Anthony is a good dude, great to see you guys had a blast at Mcnut, excellent video... Make us feel so proud that this is our backyard... Throttle Junkies approves!
I would think a ‘steering damper’ would be a must riding on these rocks and hitting all these switchbacks. Just watching this vid is making my forearms hurt or cramp! I feel safer in saying that riding a dirt bike is the ultimate workout! I mean it works every single muscle in ur body! Swimming comes close but nothing else. Most people think this is just jot ridding. That’s only because the people on film make it look so easy. Great video guys. These trails are badass.
I used to run one but got rid of it. Even a low speed it was too much We're going slow enough that it's not really needed. It actually made me more tired using one I'd only put one back on for high speed desert Stuff
Thanks again for posting these trips....this one being amazing. I just finished watching our Idaho trip and equally gorgeous terrain. Big shout out to the team doing trail maintenance!
I have been dying to get back up there the past three years because I miss it so much And also improved quite a bit and would love to go back and try it
@@EverySingleSunday They have a lot of volunteers and spend an awful lot of time at it. Having ridden there over an extended period of time I was shocked by how quickly those trails change and erode. Soft soil and lots of running water being the primary culprits.
What an amazing place! I'm starting on the tracks and starting to record ... it's amazing how you can get beautiful images without problems with the speed of fps ... congratulations! It's serving as inspiration for me.
Really glad to hear that. It's always nice to hear it's inspiration to people. I live dirt bikes and watching other people's ride videos, so it's cool see it helping someone else out
looks like fun times. i miss being in my 30’s , 40’s and 50’s and riding tough colorado trails. now in 60’s and loosing muscle, vision , stamina and vision fast . So enjoy it while youre young . 🙋
It's kinda funny I had only 400 last week Only been doing this for a few months and this was my first video to hit and do well. Hoping it takes off because I love riding and putting videos together Thanks 😊
I live at the other end of the country ,New Brunswick .In the county of Albert .We have kilometers ,oops miles of groomed track .Built for snowmobiles originally ,so some really high banks . The trails are all marked .You could have a blast .Old quarries , caves you could explore , you can take your bike right down to the 114 and fill up , then hit the trails again .You can ride the beach ,places that were discovered 400 years ago. Also the highest tides in the world are here , we're close to FUNDY NATIONAL Park .
McNutt has approx 200 kms of trails. I spent a year there and only managed to ride about 85% of the trails. Some of them are seriously technical. Lots of them are ridiculously fun.
DATS A HARD ASS TERRAIN YA BOYS ARE RIDING THRU --- I GIVE YA DA UP MOST RESPECT CUZ DAT SHIIT LOOKS ROUGH 😆 LOLOL YA FELLAS KEEP HAVING FUN N GOD BLESS YA ALL
Looks like a sick time guys.. I imagine its pretty awesome riding Canadian landscapes.. Here in Pennsylvania its not too shabby.. Have some fun for me yall!! Love the video
@@EverySingleSunday well good luck get back up there this Covid shit is for the birds.. have fun out in So Cal til then!! And absolutely.. I'll be waiting for some more good footage!
You had a good guide. Those are some of my favourite trails. I have some videos on my channel from when they are dry You guys rode great in those wet conditions Subscribed!
Nicely done, glad you liked my stomping grounds so much and looks like you "killed it" as you like to say. I enjoyed seeing someone else besides me make a video of this incredible place. I must have dozens of videos of McNutt. Tough for me to venture out to other riding areas as I only live 15 minutes away, why drive an hour to ride something else is always my excuse.
Lots of amazing stuff around you.... But McNutt was definitely the best I've ridden. I'm excited to come back next year and ride the top as I've heard it gets even harder
The top has many excellent trails. They are not as well used as the lower trails and therefore require a bit more wet root skill. Trails like Tunnel of Shove, San Fran, Kill Roger, Berry Trail are an absolute blast to ride. You got to ride a very nice mixture of what we have on your 1st visit but didn't get to ride the more difficult stuff on the lower half. Your statement about the lower half below the powerline being the B side and the top half being the A (more difficult side) wasn't entirely true. You will need to tackle my Trifecta of Evil that starts right off the very beginning and takes you almost to the top. There are trails like Wages of Sin and Olga (ridden west to east) that will test your metal. You can spend several days here and still not cover everything as there is over 150km of amazing stuff to ride. I don't think I've ever done more than 40km in one day. I cannot last much more than 4-5 hours up there though. I'm getting old....
Dude I have to say your videos are absolutely on point. Thank you very much for doing them I try to watch all of them. I make a lot of films myself but yours are by far the best!
Every Single Sunday When do you want to come out here? We Will set up a great ride for you. Also what are you using to edit your videos? I use power director but yours look way better
Thanks so much! Please check out our other videos and Subscribe if you haven't. We're posting on a weekly basis now and the channel is growing faster than ever
@@Kevin_Ho70 I did not use one for this video. I just have my GoPro mounted right in front of my chin bar. I have a video I posted last month on how I have my camera set up if you want to check that
I loved this keep up the good work and the great content dirt bikes are the best my friend and his brother plate coming over today to ride my friend has a banshee 2 stroke and His brother that is 13 is already on a Suzuki 250🤣😂 but I’m getting the kx85 for my trails that is 7 acres but these videos help me learn how to hit the roots and a lot of stuff I need to learn keep this good entertainment up😁
Awesome vid my dude. I just started riding and have been hitting up McNutt as much as I can, I live a few minutes down the road from there. It's nice seeing a pro like yourself drop the bike though makes an amateur like me feel not so bad for bailing every 3 seconds! I don't know how you have the energy to last that long though, 10 minutes in and I feel like I'm going to pass out hahaha. Could be the heavy ass bike that I'm using though too!
Ya, it's a wild day whenever we head out. My friends are a little sick in the head but it makes for some great footage Thanks for the good words and for watching
@KX250 Adventure Race Team I've gone away from TuBliss. I'm now running the Soft NitroMousse in the back. Same traction as TuBliss but gets rid of the bounce from low psi. And.... No way to flat. Still prefer the first Platinum front mousse. Never had good luck with TuBliss up front
Anthony is a great guide and even better rider. I ride with him regularly and value his help and company. Great follow video footage, I’ll have to try it with a slower group. If you liked McNutt, you should try Eagle Mountain near by. Anthony knows it well. I’ve done a couple videos of it recently. Subscribed.
@@Breal604 Holly crap! That’s a long time ago. We’ll turns out I’ve been riding with Anthony 1-2 times a week for a solid year now. I gotta tell you my riding had improved immensely thanks to him. He’s so generous with his time and is a great person to lean from. He got me into trials over a year ago too.
Great video! I recognized McNutt from the thumbnail (the bridge on Pallet Trail) in your video. Anthony is a great rider, and a great guy - I've ridden with him a bunch of times. I live 10 minutes from the trails, so I ride my Husqvarna dual sport right from my house to McNutt/Blue Mountain as often as I can - I've got over 200 videos of riding at McNutt on my channel.
Every single Sunday - Rick is a big part of why the trails at Mcnutt are so good. Not only is he a great trail rider, and trail buddy, but he is hella committed to the sport and trail maintenance at Mcnutt. U either catch Rick twisting a grip or gripping a shovel on blue mountain. Thanks Rick and thanks for a great vid. Welcome to Canada.
@@acefreely3556 Thank you so much for the compliments - there are a lot of people involved in working on the trails - as The Godfather mentioned below, we get a lot of rain, and it very quickly can erode the trail, so there's a lot of work that's always needed to keep the trails open and in good shape. When you ride somewhere like this, you want to do everything you can to keep these trails open and rideable.
I was lucky enough to spend an entire year riding McNutt while I was going to school in Vancouver. I spent a load of time riding with Rick Green, who has commented on this vid below. Its an AWESOME place to ride. If you want to try something a bit different ..... nastier and more raw ... Alberta has some stunning riding. Our trails are all up against the eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains and are tight, technical, gnarly, vertical and full of rocks, roots and fallen logs. Many trails also have absolutely stunning mountain views. I would characterize McNutt as a rollercoaster ride along with a happy clown wearing floppy shoes, carrying a bag of popcorn. My local riding area, McLean Creek, near Calgary, Alberta is more like cage wrestling a hungry tiger. Best case, you are gonna end up bruised, battered and scraped up. :)
@@EverySingleSunday That was only last year. I spent 2017-2018 riding McNutt and we went back for a weekend last month as well. Come and ride Southern Alberta. We are about 4-5 hours north of Idaho. The riding here is incredible, super technical and vertical but way wilder than a place like McNutt. I've seen black bear, deer, and moose on the trails and last month even came across wolf tracks on a trail. I'm a bit of a trail Yoda and have GPS tracks of all the good stuff. :)
@@EverySingleSunday Awesome you've made it down here, I actually live N Utah, spend a ton of time riding south near Moab. We do have some great high altitude singletrack to escape to, rare to have much moisture in it like this vid. When it rains in the summers (rare), I'm always screaming at the kids, LETS GO LETS RIDE!!! haha
I’ve ridden hobble creek and it was pretty green. Also one other area that had some cool streams that I drown my bike in. I love Utah and frequent St George
I'm glad you went back and looked down that one wall. It didn't really look all that bad on camera from the bottom and even as you rode up but looking at the climb from the top down? Wow!!!
"We didn't come to Canada to go around stuff" I like it! Always interesting to see other peoples impressions of my local trails, glad you enjoyed them.
Thanks man. We absolutely love your channel. Super jealous of all the great places you have to ride up there. Was just watching your video with Meg last week
@@EverySingleSunday make the trip to Alberta for sure, ride around Fernie BC, Coleman AB, Crowsnest AB, then north to Indian Graves, Bragg Creek, Sundre/Rocky Mountain house then if you want you can head to Medicine Hat and ride dessert, or Drumheller and ride similar to Moab. We literally have any kind of riding near by, there are even Sand Dunes apparently just a few hours of Calgary. I'd show you around, but I'm just a fat old guy stuck in a young man's body.
