Our complete review for the 18-24 Honda Gold Wing with BT Moto at home flashing. We include before and after comparisons, dyno, as well as Dragy 20-100mph GPS data. Ridden 100 miles stock and 100 miles flashed, we have the most comprehensive R&D of any aftermarket tuning company. BT Moto did what many Goldwingers thought was impossible. We are able to make the GW faster and do it easily. We can do this at a very reasonable price and do it at home with a handheld device. This is better than what was ever available. The last company to provide Goldwing ECU flashing quit doing it without an explanation. That was not cool, at all. BT Moto is now doing it better than it was ever done. My Goldwing is now the perfect tourer. Fast enough. Smooth enough...very comfortable.

Fantastic upgrade. My 21 DCT was good before Roxanne is great now. Smooths out the shifting.. sports mode is actually usable. The bike is all around smoother. 12 out of 10. Pulls my unigo trailer perfectly. I've had it on my gw for ~a month and love it.

Its so funny seeing those dyno numbers, compared to how the bike actually feels. Before my Wing(2018 Tour 6-speed) I rode a stage2 Victory XC(close to the same weight as the Goldwing) dyno tuned at 113hp/115tq at the rear wheel. Even stock the Goldwing felt more powerful and made passes with much more authority, its some kind of Honda mojo... With this final tune installed, everything about the bike's power delivery and rideability is significantly improved.. you did good BT 😎 I tour with the Goldwing but rarely on the highways, I use it as a Luxo-Sport-Tourer, the Wing now feels totally awesome cruising the back roads and twisties at pace...

@@joycecottingham9432 Stock, I never liked using "sport mode" with my manual. The mode was too abrupt and twitchy, the slightest throttle inputs upset the chassis, especially in turns. With the BT tune, sport mode is smoothed out, but tour is so good its all I want for how I normally ride the bike. As for DCT, to each, their own, but I have no idea how someone can want to ride an automatic transmission motorcycle 🤔

Amazing video, I watched a couple times already. I bought the beta tune and had a little issue but you guys cured it right up and got it done and installed. Everything on this video is right on 100%. My wing is a 2022 bagger. I got top speed this past weekend to 130mph and I'm 280lbs. Great job BT.

Thanks so much for the video. I got the flash as a beta, had some issue's you guys seemed to have taken care of it. Installed the tune without a glitch everything went as well as expected tune installed without a glitch. However dont notice a difference. But after watching this video realizing I havent tried sport/manual mode. I tried my top speed yesterday in tour/auto mode and only got 105mph, its like it hit a wall, like the limiter was still there. But I never tried sport/manual mode. Ill have to give that a try. I have 2023 dct and cant wait to get my hands on that device my biggest complaint with this bike is the speed limiter what a disservice honda claims the bike can do 140mph but these jerks dont tell you they limit the rider to112mph i saw a damn burgman suzuki 650 blow by wihile i was at 112 mph limit and it just pissed me off

I keep hearing about a limiter. I have a 2021 manual non touring model and have been up to 120 easily. I wonder if its the DCT or touring models.

Very good review and a worthwhile mod even for tour alone and full power in econ and rain under full throttle. I personally never change modes on a bike, I know how to ride in the rain and other limiting conditions have owned over 75 bike without this feature. On trips I would use econ because I know it matters on fuel mileage... I like that it includes the flasher but is it worth the $795.00 it cost? Depends on you.

Glad to see folks trying to tweak these.. and I'd like me one, but the fairing digs into my legs when I put them on highway pegs.. my GL1500 has plenty for me, a rider and full load of groceries.. I've haven't had the pleasure of riding an 1800 yet, I rode a new (puke) HD.. and that much power just isn't necessary I have a 2006 Suzuki 800 C50 as well, with a meager 45hp.. and it's plenty

It sits a little higher, and shocks are stiffer. So , yes more clearance , Clarence. Also much more composed.

@@richbenoit1840 I'm saving up for the Traxxion shocks - do you find you get more lean angle going into bends without scraping the pegs? I put the Alcan Traxxion belly pan on mine and actually scraped the edge of that cornering due to the suspension compressing in the apex.

Does the flash affect the suspension preload settings? These bikes have way too soft suspension anyway and bottom out easily when ridden hard so it would be nice to have the Sport mode suspension preload setting in Tour mode. I understand that some people are putting their bike into Sport mode and then turning it off and disconnecting the preload plugs on the suspension so that the bike remains in the Sport mode suspension settings for all modes. Also, does this flash work OK on newer 2021 on wings that have the smoother DCT already?

The plugs only affect the rebound damping. Stock is "WAY too soft" and " still too soft" Traxxion is the way my son.

The mode selector does not affect preload. Just a minimum amount of rebound damping. Watch Max

Show me a 1/4 mile results at a drag strip with the factory flash and your flash. Leave the bike in sport mode with no manual shifting that the real test.

You were testing top speed in 5th gear, why not shift to 6th?

Honda uses the fly by wire as the way to limit speed aka close the throttle so if he shifts into 6th it’ll stay at the limited speed it means fuck all
