I’m so glad you enjoyed our track! For those interested, this was created specifically for a TAS competition, back in 2021 (I have a video of the results on my channel), which resulted in some pretty incredible strats that almost deserve their own reaction video! Also, part of the reason you struggled on some sections is that they were created with RFH in mind (level 2 and the secret path), so you not using RFH was just making it harder on yourself :P
I don't have a switch and I don't play mario kart, but these courses remind me of the crazy jumping maps/obstacle courses people would build in forge during Halo 3's heyday!
@@ikagura I dunno, that would be pretty short for a speedrunning stream, I think. Or at least not a notable length. A lot of those are just resetting over and over again. Apart from the resets, the save state checkpoints would give pretty regular progress over the course of the three hours, so not much repetition before moving on to the next obstacle. It might be a long time in Mario Kart, but not really for video games in general.
This is really impressive for not only Mario Kart Wii modding but also for the Wii hardware itself. I can't believe the Wii can handle a track like this!
2,000 attempts is incredibly high, if people want to see another extremely hard racing game challenge. Look up deep dip 2, which took a month for the best players to finish.
Hearing the pokemon song at 0:58 in the background (and just general old mkwii video music from back in the day) made my day. The nostalgia hit harder than a truck. New favourite twd98 vid.
I just watched an hour long video about Deep Dip 2 in Trackmania and this doesn't seem that bad in comparison. Racing game players are built different either way.
Absolutely nothing is worth doing 2189 times. 3x max and after that there's no possible way you could feel anything but that awesome feeling of wasting 3 hours of your life that can't be gotten back.
"This took 2189 attempts" It's kinda funny, my hardest geometry dash achievement took 12,000+ and that was only 33% of a level that isn't even in the top 500 anymore! Some people spend MILLIONS of attempts on stuff lol. The level is bloodbath btw. I got 33% on mobile, jumping from nine circles.
I love how map makers for tracks like these across any game universally have bunk ass names lmfao😂 like are you kidding me “Hman-random number spam” could be a parody of the exact thing I’m talking about except it’s the real deal 😂
Hi Troy, if you’re looking for another challenge my friends and I had a good time the other day trying to lap the cpu in a standard game. We found you need one person to race as fast as possible while the others use the piranha prowler to abuse the last place cpu. Strongly recommend it for a challenging teamwork-based challenge!
Wow, SO hard, it took you 3 HOURS, wow SO long ,oh the horror! Bruh, it would have taken me 12 hrs to get past just 2-3 levels at most and i would have never been able to complete this.
