The one thing that I like about this Truckstop, it doesn't matter what of the day or night you have shutdown, there is always a parking spot.

That is a nice facility,I'm not a trucker,but much respect to the truckers who keep our country moving. Went by there in March when traveling from Nebraska to Virginia. Very nice place,I'll certainly be going back in the future

the food in this place has always always been great everything i ever needed here from food to showers to fuel and truck accessories they have it!! fair priced for the trucking business. i could not ask for more since i use their on line catalog for items to this day after 30 years as a safe professional thank you Iowa 80 for being there for us!!!!!

I quit driving about eight years ago I used to go to Muscatine Iowa and deliver chair parts and then sometimes head over to Iowa 80 truck stop pretty cool place.

Wow. I read the history and I am just blown away. I been here so many times that I want to spend my home time there. Hell, Why not? Its worth it.

I used to stop here every time I came though this area. I was a "Specialized Heavy Hauler" for over 44+ years. I remember when this place hadn't been open to long when I first started stopping by. This Truck Stop & Jubitz in Portland, Or. are a couple of my favorite Truck Stops, Both are Very Nice.

It's such a great place they don't even have a shuttle running around to pick you up and take you to the restaurant. The parking lot is a half mile in length and over a quarter mile in with and billed as "The World's Biggest Truckstop'

good video...brings back just a couple of memories for me. granted, yeah, bring cash, but this place is not the world's most expensive place either...it is what it is. someday i'll head back there, this time as a regular guy, not the truck driver i was...

Been going there since 2003...it looks great with the new look. The buffet has improve a lot much better food clean bathrooms many other options for food coffee etc... Great video👌🚛🚛🚛

I got my hair cut at this truck stop back in 2008. It was a very nice haircut that I was extremely happy with. I also ate dinner there and was happy with that too. And I bought a "Minnesota Vikings" license plate frame for my brother which I think he still has on his car.

In October, 1999, my then girlfriend and I took a cross-country bus trip from Boston to Los Angeles and back. On the way back, our bus stopped for a lunch break at Iowa 80.

The one thing that I like about this Truckstop,

8:30 I remember going there on the way back from a road trip and the main thing I loved was the shirts! If I had the time or money, I'd go straight out there just to get all those awesome t shirts.

I went to Iowa 80 truck stop back in spring 2016 it was cool looking inside I was heading to Colorado to see my brother

I will say I am impressed with 900 parking spots that's big. I live in Minnesota and there's a nice truck stop going northbound 94 by Sauk Centre. They have everything from Bolt covers to CB radios to just about anything you can imagine. I noticed they have stuff for cars there and very well managed place home cook meals too. I will say the one truck stop that you're at or showing now is way cool though. thanks for uploading.

I'm not a trucker but my dad drove for years. He had his favorites in Oregon along I 5 and we always stopped at Biggs Junction ( Dintys) for Breakfast (I 84). The closest we have is Jubitz for amenities then Flying J on 84. I do have experience behind the wheel but for some reason decided on 9-5 work. I have nothing but respect for those of you still pushing down the road My thanks and my prayers to all of you

I went there around 2010 when I moved to Georgia for a year. After watching the documentary that history channel did I decided to go there. It was a blast and I loved every minute of it. Keep you all of your hard work truckers and I hope when I do go out there again I can spend a longer time there.

When I was trucking that place was a little truck stop

You better have deep pockets if you go to the Iowa 80. I trucked from 1996-2009, and it was never my favorite truckstop, but it's not the worst by any means. I hear that most of my favorites are closed down now, such as Jake's in Bend, Oregon, and White's in Raphine, VA, and Rip Griffin's in Limon, CO, and various others, and a lot of their closings was due to the new HOS rules that went into effect in about 2003 because truckers didn't have time to stop once they started their day as they were now on a 14 hour clock and could not split log. I tended to like the independent truckstops more than the big chains, but some of the big chain locations were very good too. I always loved stopping at Jubitz in Portland, OR, and Ken's Seattle West in North Bend, WA, and the food was awesome at the little Texaco Truckstop at Umatilla, OR (but the showers were nothing to write home about -- LOL). There was good and bad in most all of them. There was a little Diamond Shamrock Truckstop in Jarrell,Texas that I stopped at once, and the buffet was great, all made from scratch, and the shower was clean and unique as it was finished in knotty pine (the shower stall was molded plastic) and was not your typical cookie-cutter chain truckstop shower, and that day there was some local in the restaurant with his guitar playing good old classic country music and he was very good too. He played some Old Hank Williams that sounded just like Hank. But the parking lot there was a nightmare, it being gravel with big holes. In summary, some truckstops had good food and lousy showers, and some had both good food and good showers, and at some both were bad (and I avoided those - LOL). It just all depended on what you were looking for as to where you decided to stop, and sometimes you were just too fatigued to care and would stop anywhere just to get in that bunk and sleep.

3:57 Dude had a heck of a plate of food! You can buy all the state collectibles at one time here. I made the mistake of taking the ex-wife with me once and she wanted to stop at every state to get a small porcelain bell with the state name on it. We stopped here and I bought all the states so I could make time on the road. Thanks, guys!

This has got to be the most expensive truck stop in N.America. I come here just to look around and see whats new, but I'm not kidding anything that they have for sale I can find else where for 30 to 40%. Its a clean truck stop, but thats about all I can say about it
