You started this series the same day I fell in love with this sport and decided I wanted to actually make a lifelong investment and this became my favorite daily series on RU-vid, thank you.
Been watching entire series since day one, love the golf content even though I was never really into golf.. I love the progression that you have gained throughout this journey! #Williams and #Henry
2:31 if you pause it at the top of your backswing on your driver swing your see that your swaying a little bit which made it harder to sway back to the ball and square up the club face. I’ve struggled with that same problem for a long time as well(lots of golfers do). The feel I like to have to mitigate it is slowing down my backswing so that my center of gravity stays more in control. The term a lot of golf instructors use is “stack and tilt.”
Try crossing your grip with the putter. Go left hand low. Will make your distance control a little tougher at first, but will make you much less likely to push and pull your putts. I know a lot of "athlete" golfers who found this technique very helpful.
On that par 5 (or really any) there’s no reason to be hitting a 7 iron unless you absolutely have to. Idk what that hole looked like fully but there was definitely room to hit a driver as there is most par 5s you gotta have trust in yourself and your clubs
Personally i think that the higher cameras angles can give more perspective on the course/hole that he’s playing. To give viewers a better understanding of where his ball is, the shot he has to play and the difficulty of the shot itself
So if I could give you 1 tip to FOCUS HARD on (and I just started getting into golf seriously as well a month ago or so, I’ve grown up hitting golf balls my entire life at the range but just only started properly playign and I’m a +14 handicap. Not bad for just starting out. But if I could give you ONE TIP !!!! Literally focus everything on keeping your left arm straight, bottom of the iron blad. The totally flat part, flat with the ground , you want the club to be and extension of ur croch almost. Picture it as if it’s your Man Pole just with 3 extra feet added onto her… you want the club to be dead aligned with ur penile
You are swinging to hard and getting off balance and it's causing u to make inconsistent contact. Try taking one more club( like instead of hitting 8 iron, hit 7 iron) than u normally do and just swing nice and smooth and and try to stay more balanced. it's easier to make solid and more consistent contact that way.
I’m a 9 Capp and I’ve been trying to get you to play the forward tees. It gives you confidence of making birdies, helps short game, irons you normally don’t hit, and overall better short game.
Golf is a game of 150 yards and in, no one talks about it but it’s the most important, who cares if you can hit the ball 270 of the tee, if you can put the ball within 10-15 feet of the pin from 150 and in that will lower your score, greens in regulation, and keep track of fairways and greens in reg
