This video is possibly one of the best golf videos I've watched - i think. I like to watch them because they're either relatable (high handicaps going round a course to make me feel better as a 23hc), aspirational (i could do/ achieve that too) and inspirational (makes me want to go practice or play a particular course) and i think this has a bit of all three and really pulled me in. Granted there is a bit of unachievable in there because we can't all not work for a month/ have enough hours in a day to do everything required or indeed have a full gym at home (p.s. you have a beautiful home) along with paying a coach... however you came across as just a normal person wanting to get better at something you obviously have a passion for and I'm all for it. Thank you and now subbed
This has given me the motivation to start getting good at golf been playing for many years but no where near where I want to be😅 keep it up andy can't wait to see more videos ❤
First video of yours I’ve seen, so happy for ya to see that comp win at the end, 82 in comp golf is no laughing matter! Awesome improvement! Congratulations
What a great video and so eye opening of what it takes to transform from a weekend warrior to a decent level golfer. Currently on my own journey to break 80 (83 best round this year).
What fantastic production quality! Absolutely love the format of this video! Can’t wait to see your golf game improve. From watching SBSD for 10 years I’m looking forward to this!
27 minutes ago i’d never seen myself being a golfer before watching this. 27 minutes later I feel excited to go out and try to pursue a new sport. Great video Andy
I am a struggling golfer but so true. You go back because of those couple shots which were perfect but even more importantly. I go back because I learned something new. Your video reminded me of my head lock but also locking the right knee als a drill. Looking forward to my own next session on the range.
Great video Andy! Great to have a new UK based golf content creator 👊. I worked my arse off to get down from 9 to 2.5. A bit stuck now but trying to get to scratch before I’m 50 😩
Videos like this aren’t going to get millions of views, but for people that are also on the same journey, it’s really informative and enjoyable. We look forward to a Reev collab at some point as I believe he plays off 3.
I love it: “I ain’t helpin’ ya” Doing the same, trying to get back into golf after a long hiatus. Changed the way I approached practice: scoring irons/putting the most.
This is a youtube video of such high quality! First video ive seen from you and you earned a sub! Keep up the great work! This guy deserves more than 5k subs!
Well made video nice job. As you can probably tell, a lot of people who watched your videos growing up now don’t give a shit about fifa and have also started playing golf, so videos like this where you track your improvement are interesting. Keep it going!
Coming from someone that never misses golf videos this was absolutely brilliant so funny stopped watching ultimate team so glad you’ve come into golf videos at of all the fifa ones doing it I new your videos would be the best and think you can easily expand to the golf watchers . Can we please have a what’s in the bag video and hope this channel goes really well.
Hi Andy you’ve been an idol of mine for a long time and I’ve just got into golf myself and I can’t tell you how happy I am that you’ve finally launched off the channel
Well done mate! im a 12,4 hcp after playing since covid. But somewhere along, trying 654 different new swingthoughts, i lost my game completely..was easier when i kept it simple tbh..im back on the grind now and really enjoyed stumble across this vid! good luck going for it👊 cheers from Sweden
Great video Andy, I’ve only just this morning come across your channel. I’m returning back to golf after being away from the game for the last 13 years whilst the children were young, now I’m getting back into it and my current handicap is also 16.1, when I was playing I got as low as a 2 but played more consistently to a 4. Since coming back to the game just 6 weeks ago I’ve been shocked at how much my body and timing has completely changed and I feel like I’m starting all over again, anyway in watching your video I can relate to everything you’ve been learning cause I feel like I am having to learn the same things. It’s slightly humbling to be and also play to a 16-19 handicap considering I was used to nearly always shooting low to mid 70s back in the day. But I still love the game and I’m encouraged by your journey and I’ll take some inspiration from it. Thanks for the tip about flexibility…… time to start stretching more. Keep it going mate, (Tim from NZ)
I came over from the FC/FIFA channel and I have no idea what all the golf terms mean, never played it either but still enjoyed this vid more than I thought, great job 😊
Love this Andy! Been watching your fifa content since I can remember and golf has been my passion since I was 10 and I’m now 26! I have been a +1 golfer in past (currently off 3) and it’s so hard to play to that standard! If you can consistently play off 8 or below within the next year, that would be great work! Keep it going 💪
Loved the video and the fant ur getting good results on ur golf game and overall fitness level👍 Hope u Can keep it up and post more, and keep training to stay fit💪
the golf channel is FINALLYYYY here!! ⛳ loved this first video Andy, i learnt quite a lot myself watching this. can't wait to see if you break 80 in the next one!! 👀
First time I've ever seen anything you've done - loved this video. Admire your commitment and ability to take feedback onboard. Look forward to seeing more of this journey!
This is great. I’ve been practicing my short and long game nearly everyday - but had not included cardio, diet and mobility. Needless to say, I’d been stupid to overlook these areas. Thanks for sharing Andy! After watching the video, I thought if Harry Potter can do it, then so can I. 😃
Really good video Andy. Could have easily been double the left and I’d have watched 😂. Congrats on the weight loss alongside your improvement. Liked the interview style of this video and Neil seems very funny. Subscribed.
Andy, really enjoyed the video and I'm powering through your other two :) if you are thinking of a new video down the line could I recommend you do one on the yoga training you used, as I think this would benefit a lot of people. Keep the good work. Mickey
Great work Andy, I started playing 8 months ago at 44 years old, I was thinking what I could do to up my flexibility game so Yoga it is. I broke 100 for the first time this month, we move as the kids say
Only just found your channel but loved watching this video! Edit- didn’t realise you’ve only just launched your channel 😅 Well done on all your progress! I started playing golf Spring 2023 and found it an interesting concept of goal setting, although I’ve had lessons, put in practice and all elements of my game improving. My scores are going the wrong way from low 90s to struggling to break 100. Although my game has got better I’ve realised my mental game needs A LOT of improvement, especially in club comps/playing with people I don’t know. It was good to see your hours spent on the putting, it’s not a pretty thing to practise but I’m sure the repeatability will breed confidence and result in strokes saved. I’ve now subscribed so looking forward to seeing more of your videos!
If you haven’t already I’d definitely recommend reading “golf is not a game of perfect” by Bob Rotella Amazing book that’s an easy read, but with some good sports psychology that’ll really help your mental game
