That makes sense because when you might be wanting to keep your hands level, but by imagining the books pressing down, you automatically use more force to keep your hand 'level' by pushing up against the books and vice versa for the balloon (so you'd subconsciously pull your hand down to keep it from going up). This results in your hands going to opposite direction.
In psychology test, most psychotic people imagine dogs and puppies when they closed closed their eyes. Idk if it’s right tho, I just saw it at 2 videos I’ve encountered

When he said “enjoy any pictures in your mind” I saw an image of my dog sleeping under the stairs” so at the end when he said “if you saw an image of a puppy” I thought he was a mentalist who had somehow put the picture in my head !

Wow very weird experience for me, I closed my eyes throughout and when he said “now picture anything that comes to your mind” I pictured a small dog, so when he mentioned that bit I was like “wow, that’s incredible! I guess it’s one of those things where a certain action will prime your mind indirectly to think of a specific object without even referencing it!” Then I came to the comments and no one else apparently had that experience and I was just a massively weird coincidence that I pictured a dog and he showed a dog.

I've never understood why people think that there's some sort of clash between being logical and being creative. INTPs, for instance, score incredibly highly on creativity tests, and yet are the most incessantly logical people of all. Being logical doesn't necessarily mean that you're down to earth and practical; and being creative doesn't necessarily mean that you've got your head in the clouds and are less organised.
People just tend to believe what they hear when its in a professional manner and/or when they hear it a lot, And of course when a lot of people agree with it because no one likes to be the black sheep i guess. But apart from that i agree with your point and all this INTP or specific personalities stuff are probably useless cause every one is different in their own way and every one changes over time for the better or the worse
It isn't necessarily BS. The way people handle it is. People treat it as though it is a scientific theory that determines our personality, rather than as a helpful guide for recognising common behaviour patterns. Everyone's personality is totally unique and can never be narrowed down to specific types fully, but everyone will inevitably fall into certain archetypes. The sad thing is that some people start to deliberately play into those archetypes and just become stereotypes of themselves. When used correctly, it can provide you with a better understanding of how others think and behave.

in my case i could literally feel my right hand going up and left hand goinng down and i could actually see the books on my left and he baloon on my right but i thought that i want them leveled so i applied force on the opposite direction and got them leveled... what does this means for my case???
It tells you that you’re not suspicious by nature. The real “test” is whether you trusted him blindly (by closing your eyes and following his instructions) or whether you were suspicious of his motives so kept your eyes open :)

i was in my dark room too, and i opened my eyes because i could see how the screen light was switching colors and i wanted to know what was going on lol
When I opened my eyes, to my surprise, my left hand with the books was significantly HIGHER than the right hand with the balloon. I think I was too conscious of trying my hardest to keep them level, but because my subconscious was imagining the weight of books and balloon, I unknowingly was resisting each imagined force to try to keep them level.
@@Winter_B12 I was pushing up against the books, and pulling down on the balloon to try to keep them level, but because the objects aren't real, they ended up being not level
Yeah, that happened with me, too. Where I was conscious of my hand trying to “float,” but wanted to keep it level. Except it was still level (I had thought it was up a little). I have always been curious about the average persons imagination. Bc whenever I “imagine” things, they’re always more in the back of my mind; like I don’t really “see” them. And I remember when teachers would be like “close your eyes and imagine it.” And it would be the same (or relatively the same) for me whether I closed my eyes or not.
I knew instantly he was expecting my hands to move so I pretty much had trouble imagining the things he said because I was too focused on not moving my arms lol. Not sure what that says about me
This was gold. I did the test and as Soon as he said "if you Saw a puppy you are a little bit suspecious" i instant knew something was going on while i was doing the test. So i went back, and it All made sense. Great idea 😄
