World's Rarest Motorcycle - The Traub 

Not many people get to see their name emblazed on a historic machine like this! I feel privileged! Thanks to you and your Dad RIP Dale.

Coolest underrated channel I’ve had the privilege of being algorithm’d to. This needs to be shared, seriously.

I actually got to help Matt once by holding this bike while he worked on the oiler, a once in a lifetime experience, if you love bikes, then you need to see wheels through time.

"One of the HIGHLIGHTS of my LIFE riding this machine." Damn straight it is! Special to see it be ridden.

He must love going to work everyday. Guess it's not work if you love to do it. Greatest show on RU-vid hands down. It should be on network TV. Thanks for all the great videos.

After he spent all his time and money creating it. His wife told him "either the bike goes or I go" so he hid the bike.

Seeing this bike in person is on my bucket list.

This show makes it feel like my dad is here with me. I'm not sure why, but this is therapy for me.

Sometimes I mess up putting together IKEA furniture...and then there was this guy.

You guys never seize to amaze me with the collection at the museum...and to hear the stuff run and see it being ridden is a special treat all its own....I love you guys and would definitely enjoy spending the day with you all...

Dale started it for me and a friend probably early 2000's. we spent 8 hrs there that day!

The man that made this was prioably the best engeer of his time. He just made a motorcycle propably by his self that was decades ahead of its time.

What a GEM !!! And the way you started it, by getting the flywheel rotating ......then releasing the compression is amazing. The sound also is just amazing to hear. What a great sound !!! Now I know why this bike would be considered the worlds rarest bike. And it looks awesome !! Soooooooo glad I watched this. Thank You .

Matt, honestly, I think that watching you ride the Traub motorcycle is a bit like watching a modern pilot flying one of the Wright Bros. prototype early airplanes. A real treat.

Hey Matt I saw your dad start the Reading Standard Board Tracker, I was even in the video, Dale worked hard to get the bike started. Another time I got to watch the Traub started. I guess I picked good days to go to the museum.

I seen this a couple time Dale happened to be there the first time I seen it, just about every part is one of a kind. Once you see it you will not forget it. Great mystery. Go see it when possible!

Wow the technology in that motorcycle is absolutely amazing! Especially when you think of everything else available in 1916 .truly awesome bike!

Incredible. Have seen this bike in articles and at the museum. Getting to see it run and ride is something i waited a long time to see. Superb. I'd pay$100 just to be able to sit on it for fifteen minutes and look it over.

or sure has to be one of the best channels on RU-vid, want to see this museum bad ,but its a long way from the deserts of Arizona.can only imagine what its like to stroll thru that place ,but to then go a look here lets fire this one up & ride it today ,gots to be the best job ever..

This is such a beauty, and the mystery is so maddening - how could someone so talented disappear into the pages of time? I wonder if you could find a machinist/cycle guy who would love to tear it down and make engineering drawings, then sell the plan set as a museum fundraiser. The bike is more than a curio from the 'teens - a reproduction would be a valid roadworthy motorcycle for the roads today! Kit bike only, of course - I don't think it could pass smog! ;-) I wish I had the skill set - it would be heaven to be able to sit down with this bike and get into the mind of the Marvelous, Mysterious Mr. Traub! Thanks for the great videos, Matt. I love that you always make it about the bike, and not about you.
