So, you can’t stay productive. Fear not, I'm here to help with this productivity course, which is going to make you the Regina freaking George of productivity.
bro like why does this not have a million views already like dont get me wrong, what Im trying to say is that this level of quality is easily worthy of like millions of views. edit: try changing up the thumbnail btw make it more abstract.
Staring to the wall is low key a great advice. We often forget what it is like to be bored and we tend to avoid it nowadays way too easily. Being bored and get comfortable with that is a superpower to do the better thing.
Forcing myself into boredom has completely changed my productivity, whenever I realize I'm procrastinating, I drop everything and lie in bed staring at the ceiling, until I get bored, then the task I need to do becomes infinitely more interesting than staring at the ceiling. It has been working perfectly for me for several weeks.
1. Write down your goals (atleast 10 goals for the year) 2. Keep just the top 5 goals 3. Plan your day the night before to have tasks that lead to your goals 4. Stare to a wall for 5-10 minutes when unmotivated instead of mindleslly scrolling
@@valentinleguizamon9957 you start whenever you decide that you want to take yourself seriously and actually want change. You need to put in efforts which is hard.
What I really love about this video is that it practices everything it teaches. It was well structured, sequential and not just wisdoms tossed out that makes the viewer worry about how to implement it.
Also those 15-20 minutes 'how to be productive' videos end up giving more anxiety because you wasted 10 minutes for something that could be said in 5-7 minutes
This video just mainly condenses the main topics, the only reason this video makes sense to you is because you did all that research before hand. No hate but this video is not a subsitute for the knowledge that you get from some of them. This video is more of an entry into the world of productivity than a subsitute lol.
1. CHUCK 'EM IN THE AVOID-AT-ALL-COSTS PILE: select top prioritized ones from all of 'em 2. MAKE A SCHEDULE: break tasks into smaller chunks and make a day-week wise schedule (should be flexible, real) 3.PLAN YOUR DAY THE NIGHT BEFORE 4. HAVE A DEEP WORK: where there are no distractions which would help you work peacefully Some of lit Productivity Boosters: journaling, meditating, reading books
Best productivity mazafakas 1. Write down goals for this year (or even next five) 2. Write down 25 career goals you want, leave only 5 of them 3. Break down those goals into daily/weekly tasks There should be 2 non negotiables. (Must do’s I have no choice but to do e.g. study session 7-9 AM) 4. Plan next day at night to not waste energy 5. Merry Seinfeld technique - when uninspired to work, stare at a blank wall - don’t get distracted by a phone (learn to be bored, work out of boredom) 6. DEEP WORK - Carl Newports book - maximum focus and no distractions for 90 minutes of work (NO PHONE) 7. Read books, journal and meditate
This is golden advice. I've noticed it through practice, if you plan ahead your tasks, you don't waste energy thinking about what to do and falling victim to the endless scrolling trap. If you put more than 4-5 little tasks besides your studies and your 9-5 (if you're in this position) each day, you're probably failing right at the second or third, getting unmotivated because of "failure" and ditching the others. Just choose 2 or 3 really important for each day, do them and enjoy the rest.
After a decade of looking for programming videos, I found a guy who uploaded 26 videos in a playlist, most of them have under 1000 views, he's posted nothing else on the channel, and it's by far the best videos I've found for learning. Those sneaky low view count gems are amazing.
I mean to be fair this video just came into existence 2 days ago, it’s got plenty of time to blow up, and it probably will be picked up by the old algo god in no time
Wow! Saving this, and most definitely using the advice given! This is, hands down, the absolute BEST productivity video I've seen in I can't remember how long! I'm so glad this popped up in my feed! You most definitely have a new subscriber!
THANK YOU! You just answered every single question I have in this one video. I am just so overwhelmed with so much videos and I'm just tired of even trying to think of watching it - I don't know if it just that I have a short attention span or what - but still thank you for just being straight to the point.
Highly appreciated, even though currently I'm 16, and more focused on even getting myself to be in the state of mind to care enough to do anything at all (depression, anxiety etc), but I'm getting there. Though I've heard (most of) these before, having it in a quick concise video will help if I forget. Thanks for the video, and I hope you all the best my man.
great video Oracle! The pace, the talking, the animation are constantly changing which makes the audience forget how long have they watched the video. I subscribed to see how far can you go :)!
Bro decided to drop the most concise and solid video on productivity as his first upload! Love the content and style! This makes it very simple to follow the steps and advice, out of the thousands I hear everyday. And it might actually push me to take the steps to achieve my goals, that I wanted to for so long. Thank you ❤️ Expect more in the future
I've got my finals in a couple of days and had no idea where or how to start and I've seen this at the perfect moment. I clicked out of hesistation but honest to god, this was a complete guide on productivity. The duration is less but I don't how you manage to say all that so concise. Thank you for this video, I hope you get big very very soon mate!
Here's a rough summary with my own added stuff for myself which might or might not be useful to serve as a reminder for yourselves: Minimize and prioritize - Write on the goals you want to achieve. Write them all down and then cut them down to the top 5. These are the 5 you will focus on. Schedule - Break down the goals to weekly and daily bites and slot them into the daily/ weekly schedule. Specifically into time blocks. Start small 30 or 60 minutes and aim to get to at least 90 minutes as a way to optimize normal fluctuation of focus. Keep it flexible and make 2 non-negotiables. Plan your day - Planning ahead of time allows you to free energy for the tasks themselves. This saves time as you already know what to do. Play with boredom - Dubbed “The Jerry Seinfeld Technique” where you stare at something, wall or screen. Just do not use your phone or distract your mind. Deep Work - Maximize time and focus by doing deep work (more work less time). Goal is 90 minutes. ELIMINATE distractions as this will split your focus and lead to worse performance than a 50/50 split as it will require time to get back into the groove of a task each time you switch. Read Books, meditate, journal - Books give your brain a workout as you have to actively engage. Meditating allows your mind to adapt better to “boring” tasks which usually are not instantly gratifying. Journaling allows for reflection and preparation. One technique which can be used is the vomit method. Where you write everything that comes into your thoughts. This way you can get rid of it especially if it's distracting.
I love the buffet quote especially since he never said it lol, be we attribute it to him anyways. For anyone wondering someone asked him in an interview how he came up with the system of writing 30 things down and only taking the top five, and his response was that it sounded like good advice but he wasn't that organized. It is great advice though.
Bro this video has things which i already knew but the things is i had to watch hours of videos to learn these things but he just explained all of them in 4 mins❤
The man just casually created the best summary of how to be productive. Impressive, considering how many wasteful, watery videos there are on this topic. Thanks man, saving this one for sure.
This FIRST video in the first few days granted him over one thousand subscribers. I see this video not only as one that deserves millions of views, but also a video that hundreds of millons of people deserve watching, and should watch. The quality is straight up excellent and worth waiting, and if Oracle learns as he goes how to get to the worldwide audience (like putting other language subtitles), this could be the next high-quality didactive youtube channel.
1. Write down clear goals even if its time consuming, daily weekly 2. Plan out your goals the night before 3. Stare at the wall for 5-10 minutes to activate the focus mode 4. Work down those goals in time blocks and suitable environment, focused work, not mindless work, don't let the phone haunt you with notifications
freekin amazing video. I can´t believe there´s only 2.5k views on it. This video is going to explode! Thank you for the simple, concrete, credible, and concise content. It packs a punch.
good content. the most common thing I've done, while studying 10 hours a day, was writing everyhing I will study on a paper then reading them every 2-3 hours a day. it reminded me what I should do in the day and actually fired me every 2-3 hours along the day. with this, I was able to study 10 hours a day for around 3 months, nonstop btw.
I had a grocery list in my google notes app that got activities poured in from time to time and now I have a dedicated one for taks and improved me doing stuff massively since I always see them lol
Hey man, best time of the year to release that imo, I don't really know if others appreciate that too but for me you really earned my respect, THANKS!!
The only thing I might add is "remove barriers to entry" meaning that, if you have your schedule written down in a notebook, have your notebook close at hand. If it's at the bottom of your bookbag, it's going to be ignored because to access it takes far more work than just carrying the notebook in your pocket or purse or satchel or something. If you never look at the goals or schedule or plan, then the first three points are almost pointless. Unless you just memorize it all lol
Honestly thought this would be a parody of productivity vids, waiting for a sarcastic punch. Instead found a great TL;DR video to save when I’m feeling uninspired and remember how to get back on track.
It’s a new day. It’s your time to shine! It’s time to take your career into your own hands! You’ve saved money your whole life. Great!
