World's Smallest iMac

World's smallest iMac build! In this build, I design and 3D print a miniature iMac. I begin by gently modifying/cutting a Raspberry Pi 4 with my Dremel to fit inside my ultra slim iMac case. (Because after all, who needs extra ports on a Mac, right?) I then paint, prime, and assemble my mini iMac and finally benchmark it by playing Minecraft.

If you want an even smoother finish, use "high build" primer. Let dry, sand. Repeat, but use sandpaper >220 grit. If you really want to go nuts, repeat again with 400 grit.

I see all the comments about desoldering (and I agree) but I also feel the "the dremel was closer" sentiment. Having said -- for the love of god put this in a clamp instead of holding it in your hand! I was on pins and needles waiting for you to dremel off one of your fingers. (Full disclosure -- I have totally done this type of thing and have some scars).

Also you used a usb2 cable on your usb3 port so you basically lost what the3 can do and turned it into a usb2 they make half foot usb3 cables with USB A f/m you don't always have to buy usb3 with a type c head you can get type A and your 3 port will be able to handle high speed communication between devices 🤔💜😁

If you printed the case a little thicker, you could be able to just accommodate the Pi as-is, and enable yourself to just swap in the next generations of the Pi . A tiny fix thru the keyboard in the custom printing is way much more smarter than maiming a standard modular component thus denying modularity and limiting useful life.
