Hey Casey! As a dietitian, I can assure you that a juice cleanse is not a healthy diet choice. There is no evidence supporting juice cleanses as having detoxification benefits and if done over prolonged periods, they can be detrimental to your health. As an influencing RU-vidr, I feel that promoting drinking only juice, to vulnerable viewers, as a way to cleanse your body, without knowing the facts is dangerous and irresponsible. Viewers look to you for advice, so if you're looking to make a diet change, please do some research before promoting it.
+bagelbunter I agree Casey. I've personally seen a ton of benefits from following a ketogenic diet, but it's a difficult diet to do properly if you're lacking discipline.
Kevin Sek yeah if your only worried about weight. If you eat shitty your health will be worse than someone who eats healthy. Doesn't mean you can't fit in cheat meals, but just like an alcoholic if you do it all the time your health will take a hit
Kevin Sek Calories are irrelevant too. Nuts have fuck tons of calories and yet an increased consumption of nuts correlates with lower weight. As with everything, a healthy life balances out whatever the fuck you want to have in it. Too much of anything is always bad, as can too little of some things be.

At least you go for runs to burn all that off, some eat more than that but do nothing about it which is so bad. That's what you'd call world's worst diet
Juice for three days is not one of your best ideas. You have a pretty big sugar addiction. Quitting sugar cold turkey is like quitting any addictive drug. That is why you are experiencing the headaches. You need to just eat real food and slowly cut down on the sugar. It will be a tough battle but if you don't want major health issues in the future now is a good time to start. You are fortunate that you exercise a lot already, most people in your situation don't. As for the marathon, someone that has been consistently running as much as you do can easily get ready in six weeks. Besides anything over a seven minute pace is more of a jog then a run, it is not like you are trying to win the marathon. You will be fine. I think your lack of sleep has caused your body to crave sugar and caffeine. Eventually something has to give. It is good that you are deciding to change your diet before something does give and you have a serious problem. Good luck.
noylddot It's not a lack of sugar giving him headaches. In fact, it's probably from having mainly just sugar. Juice contains a bunch of sugar and doesn't offer much carbs or protein for energy so you're left malnourished and thus get headaches from just drinking juice
Oy, giving up fried foods of all kinds (including chips) for the past 6 months and cleaning up my diet has been one of the most difficult things I've ever done, though it made a huge difference in my Ironman training this year. I find it takes daily persistence for months to built any momentum, but it's so rewarding when you begin to escape those cravings.

I think the main reason noise pollution is so bad in New York is because of lack of double-glazing. I think if you got double-glazed windows installed in your office (if you are allowed to of course) the outside noise you'd hear would drop significantly.

yeah, actually this whole detox thing is bs. Only drinking juice for a couple days lets your intestine rest a little which is the only positive effect it has
Awesome edit as usual. Please do a vid on your creative process including camera settings and time lapse strategy. I've done a couple practice daily vlogs and dude, what you do is amazing. To do what you do is true dedication. After a 12 hr day and 6 hrs of editing I was spent. For you to do it for 100+ days. Wow! I know you hear this a lot but thank you for the inspiration. You rock!

Try having things like banana, almond milk and date smoothies and you could add in cocoa powder, or freeze bananas and blend then into ice cream, freeze grapes and berries to snack on like candy, cliff bars, make your own chips, try eating more plant based and high carb in general, your energy levels will increase and you'll feel so much better!
you never know, plus these aren't very time consuming things! just throwing stuff in the freezer and blender, before you go to bed or wake up in the morning!
Stop punishing yourself with those "juice" and salad. Buy a juicer/blender. Cheaper and you can mix anything you want. Try oatmeal with fruits for breakfast, try mixing powdered chocolate in it ;D Stop drinking other drinks other than water. Stir fry vegies are awesome alternative for salads. 👍
I agree, he doesn't have time to cook or create his own meals/drinks, nor to buy groceries. Also, many fresh fruits and vegetables in NYC are crazy expensive.
I used to work in Tribeca where Casey lives and works, and it's cool to see my old haunts on video. I used to work across the street from the Ghostbusters firehouse (Never realized it until I left that job) and he passed by my old subway stop. At least someone's having fun there!
My girlfriend broke up with me yesterday. My diet today was a box of glazers from kwiktrip, 2 faygo blue raspberry sodas, 2 nutty bars, a jacks pizza, a bowl of ramen, and a bag of cheese corn. It doesn't help that I layed on my couch in the dark in my basement literally all day doing nothing but feeling like shit and crying. Today's been a great day

Just a PSA Casey and everyone watching, Juice cleanses are terrible for you and they weaken the digestive system because you are lacking the amount of necessary solid food, so do not just drink them. Instead make it a once in a while thing and just make a lot of adjustments to your diet, I suggest as a son of 2 Stanford nutritionists that you go Gluten free because gluten causes inflammation all oer the body which is super harmful to things like your adrenals ( the reason you can't handle stress as well ) as well as it weakening your ability to stabilize the hormones in your body. PLEASE TAKE THIS ADVICE, eat plenty of solid organic fruits and vegetables, drink almond or soy milk instead of regular ( with your cereal especially ), drink 0 energy drinks ( they fuck with your adrenals a lot ) , little to no candy and try eating as many low sodium snacky foods ( Rather than Doritos and Cheetos ) , and if you're gonna drink something healthy, just drink a smoothie
