Here's an interesting perspective. There were around 2.18 million Palestinians were registered as refugees in 2016 according to Minority Rights Group. This population was either born in Jordan or moved there between 1947 and 1967. Now, lets say that Israel keeps going and still exists in 200 years. Should the decedents of those Palestinians still be able to claim the right to go back to the places their ancestors come from? Basically, how long should they be able to make that claim? And lets say the United States dissolves this year and Britain get a UN mandate to oversee the area, should the British give the native Americans nations the right to reclaim their old territories and start their own nations? Regardless of the people who live there currently? Or should they buy those people out? Like do North and South Dakota become Sioux land again? Do the Sioux that live in different states or different countries get to move back to the Dakota's to participate in this land? Is there going to need to be a two state solution for the Native Americans and otherwise national Americans? So, what kind of logic do you base these decisions on/off of? Now, I'm sure most of you understand the implications of different answers that can be given here (if you don't understand, just ask and I will spell it out for you). But please don't misunderstand, I don't think there are easy answers either way currently. But I also think the easy answers that most people are giving here (along the lines of "the Jews should just leave") are very helpful in both the short and long term.

There were exactly 2 places in the world where Jews could have reasonably been given a state after 2nd world War. In an area of Germany. But I would get if Jew would not want to live so close to the Germans. And the 2nd one, in the USA, as that was their biggest supporter of the time, and there were already lots of Jews living in the US. Palestine was absolutely not a resonable alternative. 1st, there were already people there, that had nothing to do with the 2nd world war. 2nd it was even in accordance to the jewis faith, as according to scripture they would be given the land back by their god, not by politicians.

This was the greatest injustice done to the jewish survivors after the war. Europe still suffers from their parting. I think its BS for a people to say "hey our ancestors used to live here so we have an eternal right to this land". People move around, sometimes by choice and sometimes by force. Exactly! I have seen documentaries about first hand accounts of those who suffered during the Holocaust. Their homes, possessions and businesses were stolen from them after they were forced out of them and into concentration camps. The vast majority of them didn't want to go back to their homes in Europe to live amongst those who had betrayed them, let them be taken or took over their homes. Yet, the governments of these places offered them no monetary compensation for their homes, businesses or other losses.
