Far beneath the majesty and splendour of the Paris Opera House, hides the Phantom in a shadowy existence. Shamed by his physical appearance and feared by all, the love he holds for his beautiful protégée Christine Daaé is so strong that even her heart cannot resist.
The musical opened at Her Majesty’s Theatre on 9 October 1986 with Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman in the leading roles, and there have been dozens of productions worldwide since then. Now in its 30th record-breaking year, The Phantom of the Opera continues to captivate audiences at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London’s West End, after more than 11,000 performances.
Andrew Lloyd Webber’s mesmerizing score along with jaw-dropping scenery and breathtaking special effects, magically combine to bring this tragic love story to life each night.

Same though. The Phantom got my into theater and it's my goal to make the role of Christine someday. I've actually started training my voice to get there, and I'm proud of how far I've come.

Matt Leisy is a great Raoul. I love that in interviews, Jonathan Roxmouth said that he admires how Matt Leisy plays the character because "he has balls, and not all Raouls have balls."

I saw him once when they toured here in Manila and he was absolutely mesmerizing. His Raoul really did sound in love and he wasn't pretentious or cringe-worthy unlike some I've seen oof. What a great cast.

@@xxjackxx1150 Well, the revamped version was made in the UK during 2012 or so and has toured North America since then, if that's what you mean by the U.S. version. This World Tour however is showcasing the original (and current) West End/New York version that everyone knows so well, so it's likely that this is the version you're thinking of!

Awww I miss them so much now :'( They were my first experiemce with Phantom live and it was the main cast that I watched it with. All of the actors were absolutely magnificent and it was such a joyous experience. I really wish that when they come back to the Philippines, it will be them again but that's a fat chance.

- When Christine Daaé and Viscount Raoul de Chagny sing "All I Ask of You" on the roof of the Opera Populaire, I can't help myself, but to ugly cry, because I know that the, The Phantom, is is listening and it's breaking his heart, mine to. There's nothing worse than unrequited love, but it's not completely unrequited is it? Thank you, to all the people that have brought this together, and to all the people that continue to do so. The Phantom of the Opera, one of my favorite plays ever.

Was among the lucky audience last night in Kuala Lumpur and it was amazing. Really really amazing. Love absolutely EVERYTHING about the show. The talented casts, songs, the SET, props, beautiful layer and detailing of the costumes, the draping of the curtains...ugh everything! Thank you for the AMAZING experience. xx

my first time watching PoTO live is this year's world tour in Manila and it's so satisfying to watch these actors and actress -Jonathan, Meghan, Matt - to portray Phantom, Christine, Raoul. the other casts are also great!! the tour is also based on the original production so seeing those costumes and stage set live is so memorable. looking forward for more tours in the future ❤🙌
