Reallly looking forward to this, and the follow up. Very well thought out and respectful of the tragedy to build the memorial. I remember when I lived there I walked/commuted around the giant construction hole a few times a week. Unfortunately I left the city before it was fully built. I will go back soon.

Wow, super nice build! One question: is the tree in 4:09 the so called survivor tree? If so, nice detailling bro. Maybe next you should do the battery park and some more fillling in the downtown-wall st area. Love how it is turning out!!!

Since the city isn’t very expanded upon yet, I believe subways/trains are just not the way to go yet, but busses or even taxis seem to be the best way to get around at this time. Once you pretty much complete the south of Manhattan, I’d try making the subway, (Maybe begin it at South Ferry/Whitehall St, and maybe try making the R/W or 1 maybe one stop.) But for now maybe try making some temporary bus lines just to ease the traffic and then make actual bus lines. Can’t wait for the next video!

I remember seeing your posts on reddit some year or so ago about the last 1 to 1 build you tried and was super stoked to find out you are making a new series and trying to do a 1 to 1 again.

Can't wait for you to build the Subway. Since you're building the IRT first I'd love to see both the 1, 2, 3 7th Avenue Line (red line) and the 4, 5, 6 Lexington Avenue Line (green line). Or you can follow prototype and build the elevated railways first!

Great recreation! I’d like to see you build the first subway lines and a little portion of Brooklyn near the Manhattan Bridge so you can make the subway lines go over the bridge line they do in real life.

Great Job recreating the world trade centre memorial and battery park. 9/11 is such a deep emotional place/ time for me and I'm not even American.

First of all, thanks for this series, it's insane, i wish i had more to watch given how i'm myself on a NYC build too and how interesting all of this is. However, i think i missed the episode about WTC2. Really eager to learn more about it but not sure where to find this educationnal video ?

Ok so how did you get it that the roads are already darkened on the map and all you had to do was trace over them with whatever type of road you want to put there? I am currently trying to rebuild manhattan and ive spent hundreds of hours just on doing the streets correctly lol
