I think it's amazing how they pull this whole thing together with that many people.

So very surreal to see these images. My father fought in Europe in the US army. His family was originally from Germany and years later I went to the little village of my great grandfather. When there I met with relatives and was able to look at their family photo albums. There were pictures of relatives who fought in the German army and never returned from Russia. A real awakening for me. Pretty sure my late father and my German relatives would see these reenactments as interesting but also upsetting.

Like it, a good show, very similar to military shows ive seen this summer in Essex & Suffolk, only difference youve more german armour, but im guessing the Americans with there resources requisitioned a lot more equipment
