My first bike was the 1974 XR 75 !!! We were bad ass !! All my friends has SL 70's, they hated my Dad cause he bought the XR, I owned em hehe. Man the memories.... I have been taking my 18 year old son around showing him all the places we rode as kids !! he loves seeing that too.
My first bike was a 73 SL70 broke my leg on the first ride. Still have it, it has been rode hard for many years trying to rebuild it but parts are hard to find.

Dang! I had a silver one maybe 1976. Paid $451 and had a silver glitter helmet. I rode it all over our farm in Elton, Louisiana until I left home. My Mom kept it but got rid of it and I wish I had it now. That bike was Freedom!
