I LOVE that the PS5 is so easy to dismantle like this and modify to your personal specificities. Mines still white but the creative side of me wants to go HAM on my ps5
That is such an awesome design, just wish you could use themes like the PS4 does. I downloaded the PS2 theme for my PS4 a while ago and I'm never changing themes for as long as I have the PS4. I love the main menu ambience and sounds for the PS5 much better than the PS4, the ambience sounds like heaven and the select sfx sounds like one of those little toys trains that actually have high pitch Whoo Whoos.
Do prefer the original as it's very different from the usual PS consoles, but omg. Your work was awesome! Just the fact you did that whole makeover with such a low budget and handiwork... Props man. Beautiful PS2 throwback.
Even though the graphics and hardware are outdated now, I wholeheartedly agree. Even though the PS5 ambience sounds like heaven and the select sfx sounds like one of those little toy trains that actually go Whoo Whoo, the PS2's boot up sequence is still divine even to this day. I've listened to that boot up and menu sounds so many times, since I was 4, I'll never get tired of hearing them.
I like the custom paintjob done on the ps5, but people don't realise the cheap paint and glue just isn't worth it sometimes. Think about it, you gonna be doing heavy gaming on it. And it gets hot, then the fan start running. All that chemicals will just be span out in the room. A actaul hazard if you ask me.
personally i prefer without that big logo in the middle and the shiny looks better then the carbon sticker. But the black matt plates and small ps5 sticker looks nice
