10 seconds is actually slow. Most cars can get past 10 with minuscule mods. But it probably cost them a ton of money to build that fiat so I I think it’s a win lose and they lost
My Uncle had a Fiat 500 that he lengthened a bit, for a Corvair engine (relatively easy mate, both rear engine, both rear wheel drive) and it became a bit notorious for causing a scene wherever it went
That car was the deciding factor in making my friend switch from PS to Xbox after 7 years of failed persuasion. A shitty little BM with the heart of Godzilla 😂
@@pourgoi_6100 Only say this if you always comment something original and commenting something original on the Internet and it is pretty hard if you ask me!
Having been inside one of these countless times and seeing how slow it is. I am amazed at how fast they were able to get it to go. I can’t realistically see a fiat 500 going that fast lol. For context we restored my grandfathers old 500 from 1970 for his 70th birthday, it was imported from Italy to the states and 14 years later it’s still in great condition
@@yeah.2596 Oh I never knew that. I heard people say it but they were uneducated and I always assumed it just sounded lazy. Miles per what? Hour? Minute? Day?
@@troyandrade435 The quote sounds better as miles per than miles per hour considering cc is such a short word and it makes miles per hour sound like a mouthful. I was also mimicking the way most tuners I know talk, which isn't always gramatically correct but gets the point across which is truly what spoken language is about. Now back to English Auschwitz, you grammar nazi
I had a 1967 Fiat 500, fitted a standard 650cc engine with a standard carb but gas flowed interior and got 85mph and used as a daily driver through Birmingham UK.
It could be both. I think this car is not even at it's full potential. They could have installed a lighter flywheel and a better gearbox. 1st gear almost killed it
Jediael they are, for how many cars they sell relative to cost of production. Look at it this way: Ferrari makes an average of 80,000 per car sold. In 2017 they sold just over 8,000 cars. For reference, Audi and Mercedes make around $10,500 per car, but sell hundreds of thousands of cars per year. In short, Ferraris are expensive, but not necessarily ‘overpriced.’ Source: www.cnbc.com/amp/2018/08/17/profit-ferrari-makes-per-car.html
@@rulingmoss5599you should be. do you know how many pointless hours he spent on that thing? im talking DAYS to get a car that tops out at 60 to go 140

It was very stable considering how short it is, plus quite tall. The rear wheels are tucked in too. Talk about grab hold of the wheel tight! 138mph terminal speed too is good for the 10.44
@@gamingbaselcat7436 Yes, I have confirmed this countless times to those too unwise in the ways of automotive glory to listen. Indeed, a large nose is indicative of one's preference to downforce or the like.
Have you ever realized that if you say a normal everyday thing in a different way it sounds weird "There are cars here and there and everywhere parked there, driving down the road" "There are machines with an internal combustion engine here there everywhere. Such force is applied to them to make them strong enough to hold their self in one position without moving, there are machines driving down and up a long thick layer of asphalt
original fiat 500. built small, is small. new one is huge. new mini, isnt really mini...so its a 'Big'....and the 4 door one has then really gotta be the 'Bigger Big' right? people have no concept of what small is these days
I have an old FIAT 500L (1971) here in Italy and when I take the highway, as soon as I reach 80Kmh, I see the saints of heaven. This pilot has directly reached another dimension.

In this episode of why is this in my recommended, We have random video features a Fiat 595 doing a 10 second 1/4 or 1/2 mile! The video incorrectly claims the car to be a Fiat 500! Why is this video in everyone's recommended? Some people believe the algorithm favors old videos, some believe the algorithm is just broken... BUT IS IT ALIENS!? NO ONE KNOWS!!
I had two 500’s, most fun I’ve had in a car with my pants on! The second was the 1.6 Sport, not the Abarth I know but was still a great drive due to its power to weight ratio, cornered like a slot car and made me smile😁🚙
I rented a 500 while being on vacation in Menorca:) It were 2 awesome weeks!! I came up with ALL sorts of excuses to drive it through the tiny backroads there:) I loved it!!
