Saw this demoed at a JVC , Panasonic event and the picture was absolutely amazing. 👍🏾 I plan on maybe getting the RS2000 though. This one is 18k. Way too much 💵.
Interesting there are still no "native 8k projectors" on the market...but 1 (forget the name)...yet there are lots of native 8k flatscreen TV's. And the pricing has dropped by 50% since early 2019 when they debut. All but the 99" size. :)
Are they updating this to 40 or 48Gbps HDMI? Otherwise it'll be a non-starter for native 8k input (maybe 24p would scrape in) and stuck with upscaling. Plus today people would like 4k/120 too. Or that all appears at CEDIA next month.
NewYorkBlack - 😂 I saw it in person and that sucker is huge. JVC rep says is because of the huge glass lens this unit has. The 2000 is just slightly smaller though.
