We have come a long way since 1869 when Leland Standford joined the trans continental RR with the gold spike. These machines are amazing. There are a lot of smart people out there!!
These machines seem like something from another world! Seems miraculous that man can create such machines as these, and yet, mankind has explored the heavens!
This must be a quite expensive machine to replace human labor, and yet it seems to still require a army of men to operate it! Never the less, it is a amazing machine!

Since independce , India has made marvelous developement. only in developing Railways , to suck out , all Indian resources to , Western Countries . Indian rail ways , is of more distruction to Locals than of service to people , as far as , Service to its Citizens are concerned , as of Human rights organisation .*
Yeah man that is really cool, I have been to Harsco Track Technologies business in Fairmont MN for training classes, they are amazing in what they build and how it all operates I love watching these working videos, great technology and amazing machinery
This technology was used on the Trans Gabonese railway nearly forty years ago the biggest earth moving and civil engineering contract in the world at the time , it was called the Dinosaur .

That machine at 7 38 is a peice of crap. They are just wasting ballast. If you are not undercutting at the same time it is pointless scooping the rock from the edges
cuts rock and dirt from ends of ties dumps into a shaker .shakes dirt and small rocks on to a conveyor .which throws it away from track .dumps good rock back on track .This is to drain water from track so dump will not get soft spot and let track sink
It’s called a shoulder cleaner. They usually run along with a ditcher. Digs just past the end of the ties because that’s where your movement is. Then it spits the bad ballast off to the end of the ballast line.

Скорость укладки рельсошпальной решётки просто огорчает. До Российских монтеров пути с их кранами вам очень далеко. Все гениальное просто. А тут больше видимость технологий чем их надобность.
Richard Evans,it's nice to dream, but but me Father aalwis used ti say.."Somebody has ti win Son!"...[as he filled the football pools coupons in, from as early as I remember, certainly as far back as the early 1950's ]...well,he DID win once, but so did a million other people around the country, cos there was a load of draws in the league tables that week..so he won about a Pound in old money!!He gambled the pound on the horses,so ended up dying virtually penniless...but the bookies died rich!! Yeah, somebody has to win...and it might be you!...Be great to see somebody using the cash for a project like that!!..hope you do win Mate!
It's funny how we've been making railroads the exact same way they were made when they were invented.- gravel on the bottom and railroad sitting on ties
Its not the modern way of tracklaying, modern tracks are build without gravel and ties and the rails sitting on an concrete foundation ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RliY_YyldJQ.html
I personally think it's the biggest waste of time and manpower I've seen in a long time, it's like road repair crews leaning on a shovel while one man works.
Why these machines are imported , when we are capable of even better machines , locally , that to within Railways itself . When humans cheat within humans , It is no difference cheating within family itself .
Interesting machine, but I was surprised to see such short lengths of rail and wood sleepers? Isnt Continuous Welded Rail standard now? In what countries would this system be useful please??
At the end, I'm puzzled by new rail being laid down alongside existing rail. Is the existing rail being replaced? If so, one would think it would be easier to remove it first. Some onscreen or voiceover explanations would help this otherwise interesting video.
The latest technology has reduced the man power. Also the work is done saving the time, as well work force goes as fast to the maximum completion of the work finished within less time. Awesome Discovery of the mechanism. No technical defaults, everything is in perfect order.
