I would hold the logs by the sides not the ends when putting in the splitter. Maybe a little less risky. Fantastic how you two got this all put together before winter.

I know you're not stupid but that wood splitter is. Lol. Is there a way to attach some kinda guide to the pusher arm so the wood stays centered and you can avoid having to reposition the wood and avoid losing a finger or an arm. Also maybe its a good idea to have someone at the tractor to kill the engine if something goes wrong. Don't want to see anyone get harmed. Take care.
