literally one of the craziest challenges i have seen, the concept of not shooting to the best rank(aside from top 500) in any shooting game is beyond insane

i have been trying to get off masters on ball for like a half a year now, and this guy just comes and is gonna melee his way to gm in like a month 👍

I'm absolutely mesmerised how good chazm is with the grapple... Consistent double, or even triple boops, sometimes even quads. It's insane, and as a terrible gold 3 ball, you have so much of my respect. Also lol @ people calling you a smurf when your damage output is so heavily nerfed from not shooting.

I feel like your climbing will be easier from high diamond and master's onwards as you get matched with players who actually know how to play with ball and shoot the enemies you boop/slam for them to get easy picks (with you not being able to shoot them yourself) so looking forward to that :)

Most regular unranked to GM are super boring. This is so much fun to watch. And there’s no doubt in my mind you will get to GM. Honestly once you get to high ranks and have DPS that can effectively follow up on your slams I don’t think you’ll have much of an issue

Ball is so frustrating to play against. The thing about it is that Ana and Brig can both severely hinder him but you have to be cracked to do it. I had a game a few days ago on Ana that I had 16 sleep darts landed and all were on the GM ball-he only had 1 death at the end of the game despite that. It’s SO hard to kill him even with a full team looking and with him asleep. Even with their tank asleep most of the game, we still almost lost because of how much chaos he was causing while sleep was on cooldown.

This actually looks fun to just roll around seemingly aimlessly, I must try this

Btw I've been playing with no left click thanks to your inspiration and it has actually increased my mobility and cooldown usage significantly to the point that I force the enemy to switch to sombra almost every game now lmao

I get what your trying to say about the ranked ladder but i think ball is a more obnoxious doomfist, constant displacement in an area for a 4 second duration then to top it off you slam either continue the cycle or run away with adaptive sheilds.

If a player is so fundamentally better at a hero than anyone else in the lobby at a certain elo, the argument that smurfing with a handicap makes it fair isn't the right argument to make. You could argue that the handy cap gives them a chance, but that doesn't change the fact that gm game sense, movement, and mechanics overwhelms the other team without needing to chase kills, especially at lower elos where players dont know to play against ball.

How about Orisa with no fortify or spear, but you can still use your spin?

Hey Chazms (afk thrower here) to answer your question about what rank you could get by not doing anything. In reverse, the rank you can get by just staring at them is an astounding D5 before you have to start hard throwing. (Hard Throwing: any strategical tactic used to make your team lose. Ineedheals spamming, feeding, NVboops, greedleading regrouping, etc.) It's surprisingly easy to get Overwatch players (even GM ones) to do what you want if they believe you're just really bad (I think it's because they know that you won't attack them so it's kind of like this "action = reward" kind of repititon in their monotonous tryharding.)

I need to see a u2gm for each one: no e, no grapple, no slam

i could be wrong but i feel as though both challenges are equally as hard especially once you get to diamond and masters. ball so shooting doesnt allow you to finish kills and rein no sheild makes taking space a nightmare whereas with the ball challenge you can take space and disrupt still and with the rein challenge you can finish your kills

If you “smurf” with an VERY clear and big disadvantage, then I say its fine. Like Dva no DM or zen no discord. Big parts of their kit removed to make it fair and fun.
