In part two of the interview with Jordan, we talk about her friend Adam Ant, whom she managed at the start of his career between 77 & 78, even providing vocals on one song ‘Lou’ • Adam & the Ants feat ... (Jordan got him a part in the Derek Jarman film ‘Jubilee’ during the same period).
We also discuss the power of dressing up, the legacy of Punk Rock & her present involvement with the 40 years anniversary of the release of The Sex Pistols’ single ‘Anarchy in the UK’ which launched Punk Rock on the public.
Jordan stayed working at 430 Kings Rd through its present incarnation as Worlds End until around 1984 when she returned to Seaford.

What a great find. How could anyone not like this woman. I would love to have heard more about the Pistols and the scene of the 100 club. But Jordan is the icon of that time and still beautiful. RIP

Love how she was still decked out in Westwood here. Sad to find out she passed. Rest easy Jordan.

Jordan was the first woman i ever saw that looked the way she did, she was very intimidating but in a real ballsy way, she made me realise that here is a woman that no man would ever mess with coz she looked like she'd kill you with just a look. She's been around in my life for 40yrs all because of the wonderful world of one Mr. Ant. A true original that really set the standards with punk fashion.

The shop was at the top of the street my family lived down in Chelsea. I remember Jordan when I was a little girl.

What a fantastic interview. Great to see two real Human Beings with heart engaging; particularly in the current state of plasticity in the world we live through. They both seem like lovely people. That shop, and those people were certainly very important in my life. Growing up in a small northern town they were like a lighthouse on a distant horizon. It's important not to feel alone; especially when you're young.

What a great interview. I couldn’t keep my eyes of Jordan back in the day, never spoke with her. What a great, insightful, loyal person she is. Wonderful stuff Ben.

a wonderfully refreshing new interviewing that doesn't rehash the same old shit that we've been hearing and seeing over the last 40 years - well done and Thank You

not having been part of the scene in London I still like to experience it vicariously hearing from the principal players. and it brings up memories and feelings from my own scene.

Jordans contribution to British culture is grossly underestimated, she was a brave and bold woman. Sex Pistols #1

World needs punk more than ever today. Too many kids dragged into consumerism , money to buy stuff is all that matters to them and creativity nowhere to be seen.

I’ve always admired her. She’s a lovely individual. Burning records that exceed your artistic anemia is ghoulish & a severe act of posh deprivation

Brilliant interview. Thanks Ben and Jordan. So many great points. It would be really interesting to hear from Jordan about her parents attitude to who she was, and how she dressed. Being scared, is often a reaction from your parents reaction to how you dress and behave and your parents fears. If your Mum says you can't go out dressed like that you'll get attacked, then that sort of thing infers/encourages fear...

I adored Jordan's performance in Jubilee and it's wonderful to hear her speak on the Punk movement.. after the mention of not being a movement and no one dressing anymore and counterculture is mainstream.. perhaps the next movement will be people dressing as from the future, but if it could have the zipper rubber studded accouterments and be all tech'd up in a new sexy way People of all ages might want to standout like a 'peacock' as Malcolm once opined in The Filth & The Fury!

I know who the mad woman is in Chelsea is I lift in the same flat. Must have been Draycott Place. I loved it when Jordan/Pamela used to come into my travel office in Russel Sq doing Angie Bowie impressions and I resembled a little budgie lol

Quite the woman! Can't wait for the book. I saw Jubilee when it was released but had forgotten about it. Saw it on Hulu a few weeks ago and enjoyed it more, probably because I understood it better. Jordan's ballet sequence was a highlight. Will there be a part 3 Ben?
