I don't think that the T'au or Eldar would do that. Since the T'au are partially inspired by Imperial Japan I can see them maybe making use of labour camps for POWs, meanwhile I feel like Eldar would likely treat prisoners with more respect, since to be deemed worthy enough to be captured you would have to be notable.

@@randomarcgunner4543 I think the chainsword arena part he mentioned was for his mention of Khorne Even among Aeldari though the punishment for POWs likely differes per craftworld. Ulthwe is probably the only one that gives you a chance to be returned to the imperium alive and (mostly) intact

@@randomarcgunner4543 Tau are barely inspired by Imperial Japan, I'd argue that the IG is way more Imperial Japan inspired than the Tau. The Tau have anime japanese vibes, but that's post imperial era.

@@shoulderpyro Eldars won't bother keeping prisoners in most cases, they are likely to just let you go, disarmed but alive however. Only Bie-Tan is really vindictive like that.

It's ultimate goal destruction of everything, even itself. Just imagine any horror, the worst you can imagine, and know that the Wyrm will make it much worse than that.

@@TheMaulam12345 well I couldn't cite a specific page of a specific book but I do remember reading how in this universe the battle of the Old ones messed up the warp eons ago. It actually was a stable place where souls had a chill time in general. However, it's so corrupted now even if you die praying to the Emperor or whatever. If he doesn't specifically choose you then your soul gets torn apart by the nameless demons of the warp. This is the eventual fate of 99% of humanity in this setting regardless of belief. So while yea some of these guys gata scratch out a living as a chaos underling. At least it's a chance of something other than demons ripping and tearing your soul for all eternity or till your essence becomes food for another demon and you'll jus be in constant agony in the belly of some chaos spawn smh... Truly a cruel and dark setting.

There are no good endings or peaceful afterlife's. Even if the Emperor saves your soul it's only to put it to work in His Golden Army. So even in Death the Duty will not end. Humanity is completely boned in this Verse. But as I sated before... IF YOU HAD TO CHOOSE. Obviously you'd wanna be indoctrinated to the point you can become a saint. Other than that. There is no other fate better. Even if you don't get picked by a chaos god you'll still suffer for all time being some form of a thrall or food for a warp entity smh...
