One of my lesser-known FIR favourites is "I'm bad at life". But that whole album is epic. "Coming Home" is beautiful.

The girl is the prom queen on their album cover. I feel like changing the song changed the meaning of "I can't believe I'm actually meant to be here". This came out the year before I'm Not a Vampire Revamped, so the teeth were a tease. :)

I absolutely LOVE his choices not to “resolve” some of these lines to push that emotion. He knows what he’s doing that’s 💯 for sure. I’m obsessed with what he did with this one. From that to the more scream section towards the end. ❤ FIR and Ronnie is just “one of those” special artists FOR SURE. I haven’t found anyone doing what he does with music right now. Falling In Reverse - "Alone" is a good song but older

Court house = same as in Popular Monster. Sean Rooney helped Ronnie with Reimagined and Revamped. with some more Beethoven influence. Royal Blu, another reactor on YT, was one of the cellists in this video - her review/reaction has a lot of good BTS info! RIP Derek Jones - the friend and guitarist who picked Ronnie up from gaol. (the dedication at the end after you stopped the video).

The girl is from the original album cover. The vampire teeth was a hint at the next video which was I’m Not A Vampire Revamped. He released the two reimagined songs to commemorate the ten year anniversary of The Drug In Me Is You album.

Another awesome reaction, you are amazing! The song is about drug addiction, and the woman represents heroin. I highly recommend Brother and there is no video, just lyrics, it's a beautiful heartfelt song about the loss of his brother in a motorcycle accident. One of my favorite FIR songs

Well, actually he (Ronnie) didn't do the "reimagined" / "revamped" versions, but self taught pianist/composer Sean Rooney did. This guy did a orchestral / piano version of "I'm not a vampire" and sent his version to the band as a demo. This version is also available on Seans RU-vid-Channel (=> @SeanRooneyMusic) and after that "The Drug in Me is You Reimagined" and "Last resort Reimagined" followed. And just to make sure: The intention of my comment is by no means to diminish Ronnie's talent and abilities, as it is precisely the combination of Sean's arrangements and Ronnie's voice that gives the 'reimagined'/'revamped' songs their soul. Keep the great work up & cheers from Germany!

I never thought i'd hear someone bring up Finch out of the blue like that, and i'm happy you did! They were one of my favorite bands back in 2003-04 timeframe, and if I remember correctly that album was out just before 2003. Definitely more of an emo/heavy listen, but great music imo. Have you ever listened to From Autumn to Ashes? They were around that same era and have a similar vibe. Their song "Short Stories with Tragic Endings" has a heavy metal intro and then breaks into the most beautiful acoustic/vocal ever. Highly recommend!

Great reaction to great songs! The Reimagined is one of my favorites from Ronnie, goosebumps every time. There are still plenty of great FIR songs, I would suggest especially: Carry On (no MV), F**k You And All Your Friends, Superhero, Coming Home - those are all from their last album Coming Home. A little more older ones like Chemical Prisoner or Alone are great too.

This is the reaction I've been waiting for. Such an amazing song. The original was my jam in high school, but the reimagined is unbelievable. Great reaction. I think you would really enjoy sleep token based off how you've reacted to everything so far. Their latest album Take Me Back to Even is also all killer no filler lol great reaction as always my friend

What you should listen to next : You want to do "Carry On"; it was a track that got dropped from their Coming Home album after Ronnie realized the lyrics were unintentionally very similar to Bulletproof Heart by My Chemical Romance and it didn't quite fit the feel of the album as they were making final track decisions. (as an aside : that album became my favorite of their, but it took me five full spins to decide if I loved it or hated it; it wasn't what I was expecting and it took me a few listens to stop trying to compare it to what I expected it to be. It's really a mature album cover to cover and highly underrated) So, it was mothballed when it was mostly mixed, but still had tons of work left. Ronnie decided to finish the layers and mixing during COVID-19 and release it as a gift to the fans. Why you should listen to this track : When you listen to it and realize that Ronnie throws away tracks that better than most artists will put together, it's sick how much talent that man has. I think he mentioned he's got a hard drive full of stuff that's in various stages of complete when it got cut or dropped, assumedly of various quality, but including tracks as good as Carry On. I really hope he archives his data drives and donates them to someone in his will so the unfinished art isn't lost just because he's a prolific perfectionist. Then you should listen to the whole Coming Home album, cover to cover in one sitting. As an artists I think you'll admire the beauty in the work as a while piece. Track by track out of the context of the whole album doesn't do the piece justice.

The vamp teeth were an easter egg to what was coming at the time (I'm not a vampire revamped). the girl is no one in particular; it was just album art during this particular era. I listened to Ender once the video ended because the way you described it sounded right up my alley, and I have to say it's an amazing song and I will be listening to that album. I'm not comparing the two by any means, but the way we draw parallels to music is only human, so I can see why this song reminded you of that Finch song :)

Would love to see you react to Sleep Token. Incredible vocals, musical timing band overall musicianship, writing everything. Alkaline, Take Me Back to Eden, Chokehold, The Summoning, Granite you can’t go wrong and will have a ton of content. They are anonymous with a large backstory.

I loved the album by Finch. It was 2002, I picked it up 2003.

For a fun little pre-Falling in Reverse bit, Ronnie was the frontman for Escape the Fate before going to prison. The two videos that have him are Not Good Enough For Truth In Cliché and Situations.
