Myvolts usb to dc cable will be useful for taking the usb port from the dc7 to power the gi Joey. Another option is to get the cioks 4 or 8 and the parallel adapter. The parallel adapter will combine two of the outputs to get you 1320ma at 9v for the rockstock usb light and then you have 2-6 ports remaining for the gi Joey and potentially removing the 2 daisy chain flex cables. There’s the extra step to getting every single effect truly isolated

Thanks for the Myvolts tip! I am using the USB output to power the G10 wireless though, but good to know, just in case I ever want to expand to 8 outlets instead of 7. Yes, I'm being painfully reminded why I prefer my Line 6 Helix and POD Go, where I don't have to worry about all this stuff, haha.

Hey Justin - you need to drill the holes for the screws, then it'll sit flush and look great. Alternatively, you can drill the diagonal M4 screw holes and attach the Cioks DC-7 between your rails. But what I've done was just to attach it using 3M Dual lock - 1.5inch patches on 4 corners worked great for me! Cioks does good power supplies, been using them for many years. From the DC-10, to DC-5 and coincidentally, just put the DC-7 on my board last night. I've also found the Cioks power supplies to be very well grounded and very low noise floor. You could even expand further to add on DC-8 if you plan to have those power hungry Strymons / Boss'. Just my 2 cents, God Bless.

Hi Aaron, thanks for the info! But that’s so strange, the Grip is touted as a device that attaches the power supply drill-free. Wow you’re a CIOKS expert, I am definitely taking notes from you. Did you get your DC-7 from TY? We might have gotten ours from the same batch haha.

Haha I assumed based on your name that you’re Singaporean! Hello neighbour! Will try the slot back, thanks for that. This is actually my second DC-7, I have one on a Mono Small which I did drill in place. I tried 3M and the stuff melted off the board after a hot outdoor gig!

@@AllAboutWorshipGuitar oh, haha! No worries at all. Well that's our Asian heat, I've not played outdoors, so can't really comment on that part. But it's always best to just lock it in with the screws. The mono board is too beautiful, can't go forward with drilling into one.

@@AllAboutWorshipGuitar Justin, I took some time to talk to a friend, and I need to apologize for the slight miscommunication. The "GRIP" is indeed mean to be screwed on using the screws to grip against the Pedaltrain Rail; so you're right, the installation is not the best, as the 2 screws do stick out like a sore thumb. Hope this helps.

Hey Justin question, why don’t you run the drives separately in the 3 loops of the ms3? Then you the ms3 to turn off and on your drives. I believe you can also change the routing once they are in the loop, to try different routing options.

Hey Anthony! I’ll need to sacrifice the switches on the MS-3 to activate the loops, which I’m currently using for other effects and a master tap tempo. Also, the loops are fixed in the order of 1 to 3, no way to rearrange the loop order, although the big loop block can be moved around the signal chain.

I think the store was clearing off stock to renew their inventory. A lot of their high end stuff in this store got moved to a new store.

I absolutely refuse to believe that carrying an armful of pedals and cables from a music shop to your car can *ever* be a walk of shame! It's the walk of "Look at me, I've got NEW STUFF!". And yes, the MS-3 has really close sockets. A quick workaround is a short M/F 1/4" TRS extension lead, but yes using the smaller plugs is the way to go. I wish pedal manufacturers would all go to either 1/8"/3.5mm plugs and cables (like many of the Eurorack modules do) or for digital pedals, give a digital connection so you don't have to keep going A/D and D/A when you go from, say, Timeline to Bluesky. For the long CIOKS bolts, you can cut them down if you have the appropriate tools, because I agree, sticking out like that is terrible.

Thanks for the great suggestions and the kind words! Haha, it is a shame if the wife catches you in the act (which she didn't, but she also gave the green light to go ahead)! I like the idea of the M/F extension lead for the close jacks, now I just need to check out where I can get them locally...

@@AllAboutWorshipGuitar my wife is the same (wonderful!) but we've got an agreement that no more guitars or pedals unless I get rid of some (fair enough) ... I have a bunch of cheap pedals (Behringer and such) so I reckon I can swap one Behringer for a Boss DD-500 ... sounds fair to me! :D

What IR's (and IR mic setting) are you using with on the iridium? I love my Iridium clean but my drives are so inconsistent

I’m using the free Worship Tutorials IR pack, the AC Blue with 57 on the left and R121 on the right. I feel you. I got my drives dialed in but the clean is really a very mild drive.
