Can you do some tours of 100-250 People churches with a smaller budget? A thousand seat church with multiple services is fun to watch but I can't take my budget for three years and buy one moving light...
Explanation on how dante enables them to add EQ to their ears without affecting the main mix!? I've never seen that. I've always seen having a IEM board but never being able to have EQ on their ears without affecting the master via an app!
A 609 as an Mono Overhead? Seriously? However i do get why you went away from the MA2. Its definetly not that volunteer friendly. I would suggest to engage the Pad on the Shotgun Mics if they are overloading. I like large Diaphrame Overheads on Drums. The AKG C214 are a great Budget Option. You will be surprised how good they sound in comparison to the 609. You should definetly go stereo on Overheads, they are the most important mics on the drums😉.
RU-vid doesn’t pay us anything for our views or subscribers in Africa! I’ve spoken with the corporate heads at Google. There isn’t any money to support creating video content for any parts of Africa, unfortunately! 🤷🏽♂️ I made a video exclusively for Nigeria Worship and was paid $1.27 from Google for a video that cost us over $500 to create!!! 😳🤯
I was also going to ask. I did listen to a couple services and thought something was up, i record our practice night and virtual sound check Sunday morning to fine tune the online mix. We get a lot out of our X32. I should do a walk through for folks on how to do a one man FoH and Broadcast setup on the commonly used X32.
To much digital!! What happened to the pure Live Sound experience having Amps on stage and having drums without some sort of plexiglass surrounding it.. why are churches these days trying to be hip and cool and trying to be that one church that has the best DIGITAL Technology and show it off on social media, who worships the best etc!! why are churches afraid of some stage presence and don't say its because "its to loud" cause that's bull!! lol cause if you have a good sound engineer/system you can always adjust that without a promblem.. I just think that's the trend these day to have everything go through the main system.... Remember you shouldn't treat live sound likes its a studio session! and let the people feel like its a live concert, a live worship concert but I guess at the end of the day to each their own. I'd say to all the volunteers bring your amps I know you have that fav amp you like play through ;) all they got to do is mic it with that e609 ;) lol
After watching the previous two streams from Storyline I’m going to respectfully disagree with him about Waves Tune not making a difference. That’s not to say those singers aren’t gifted but very few people have perfect pitch much less vocal teams of three or four together. This was an excellent tech tour! As an Avantis user, it was great to see how other people use theirs. Such a powerful console. I highly suggest the Deep Pack Plugins for anyone considering the Avantis. The DYN8 is unreal, tube pres, and now the newest firmware has added RTA, a few expanders, and some cool new bus compressors.
I personally think the Grand MA2 On Pc Command wing is very good for volunteers. At my church we have the actual production manager program cues for songs and then volunteers execute the cues along with the music.
Hey, I am a pastor in Montrose, CO that is looking to get some cameras for live stream. When you upgrade from these, I would like to have a conversation with you on purchasing your old ones. let me know if that is possible! Thanks!
Churches have no business spending this kind of money on av equipment, if you want to start a venue for Christian rock bands then do that, but this kind of money should be going to helping their community.
