He definitely says 'gaffa" which is UK slang for a 'boss'. Really only used in the work place, especially in construction work. Never used at home or anywhere else, only at work and in blue collar jobs. Most Londoners would use it in jobs like plumbing, electricians, construction etc. 'Gaffa' is also used as a term used for a lighting director on a film or TV set.

That's not a real accent though 😄 Panganai Java is Zimbabwean. Zimbabwean accents sound much like South African, Botswana, Zambian and others in the region. But he's not speaking with an accent that sounds in any way Zimbabwean or southern African. The way he is speaking is a very exaggerated (put-on) African accent that sounds almost East African. A lot of Lovy's enunciation is the same. They have deliberately adopted this style of speech because they know that it plays well with some western audiences, who will see them as being more authentic, more spiritual, more humble and having more gravitas if they come across as being very rooted and grounded in their African-ness. It would be similar to an American preacher coming in with a very folksy manner, in order to pander to the kind of crowd who will be more receptive to him because they think he is less worldly.
