That's the one thing I don't like about traveling to these places is I feel like everyone is trying to scam me and asking me for money. It gets me upset sometimes

To be fair the Patpong Night Market has a great variety of goods in a relatively small area. They really do have some things that are not found elsewhere in Bangkok.

The main thing that felt different to me about this market is that you could watch a ping pong show after you bought a fake rolex 😂.

For me, the best place was the alleys beside Krungthong Plaza. If you're traveling to other places, the prices in the philippines are way less than on thailand.
