Beat 25 is there to remind the listener that DistantCry can make good things. Beat 26 is there to remind the listener that he uses his powers for evil.
It's obvious from these that DistantCry knows how to make a good beat. He simply _chooses_ not to. The man woke up and chose the musical equivalent of violence - and I'm here for it!
no, this is him trying his hardest to make awful beats yet some of them go hard a bit, raw brimming potential even trying to make garbage he makes some halfdecent beats, too powerful a beatlord
This sounds like me playing with GarageBand back in like 2005 or whenever that was a thing, somehow it's nostalgic, and because of that I almost love it
hey acai, ive been having the hardest last few weeks mentally and just haven’t been in the right mindset, but this video right here is the reason i’ve cried from laughing for the first time in a month or so. i just wanted to say that, even with the off chance of you seeing this, your videos reach tons and tons of people and no matter how stupid the content is or how short it is, it makes a huge impact on tons of lives. keep on doing what you’re doing, and make sure you do what you want to do because it helps so much more than you think it might for the people who you reach
@@PenJahattt these keyboards are in every British secondary/High school's music classroom, and any brit that went to school in the past 10 years has had the exact same experience of music class turning into a mess of "DJ!", moaning, and "dic-dic-dic-dictionary!"
I laughed my ass off on beat 23. That's probably the hardest I've laughed, like ever. The whole fuckin beat, I was laughing. Legit had tears streaming down my face and I was basically crying when I was done. What an amazing feeling, thank god you play this game or we wouldn't have known about this.
There's something almost poetic about watching Acai dying laughing while beat 23 plays @14:12. Not sure exactly what it is, but it's a work of art. This entire series might be my favorite thing on this channel to date lol
I guess this is a little personal thing to say but I'm deeply afraid of thunderstorm and this video is helping me ignore that there is one going on outside right now. This was a wonderful journey, my favorite is still beat 7
This has been a story of miserable grind through the multiples failures for that first coveted success, Beat 25. However one must never forget their roots and initial values, which is the lesson that Beat 26 gives us. DistantCry is the true leader of this beat revolution.
I can't believe DistantCry invented a way to travel to alternate universes exclusively to steal their Christmas music for beat 24 and then immediately made that not the focus of the beat by nuking it into oblivion
Someone said it in chat, but I'm pretty sure Beat 17 sampled the "I asked for Sprite and they gave me clown juice" video, which is a bizarre thing to sample (just like everything else DistantCry sampled) and I love it.
I tried searching up "credits song for my death" on Spotify and I have a question, do any of y'all know why it's listed as a podcast instead of a song?
i love how acai slowly becomes more and more disheveled as time goes by on a serious note i've been feeling like shit due to recent events that go back just a very few months back, and these give me the laughs i need
I love how track 20 starts by gassing up the union of five men to create what must be the most legendary dumpster fire... only for it to switch to the average DistantCry brand of dumpster fire
I must be suffering from stockholm syndrome because these are starting to sound good to me the longer i listen to them also i stg those screams in beat 26 were absolutely from Tom & Jerry
So glad that you played these beats. I found Distantcry out of my recommended randomly one day and I was so happy that you were playing all of them keep up the content man
Nobody talks about how good Beat 17 is. Like it's the least scuffed of the lot and I bet you could make something pretty damn good using it as an instrumental.
I have to say this on the most recent one because I'm just now going back through the series... There's joke music... And then there's this... People throw around terms like "Penis Music" a lot, but this is like Butt Cheek Music
You gotta be very proficient with a DAW to make shit like this, it's a talent in it's own right and it's always hilarious to see it taken to it's extremes
Beat 17 kinda slapped! Beat 19 was going so good and then THE FUCKIN MEME Do-Donations Beat 21 gave me an aneurysm from the discord pings and crash combining also WHAT THE FUCK WERE THOSE LYRICS 22 HAAAAAA SAVANNAHHHHH 23 the waltz with the bass hits is too funny 24 I did not expect to hear strange christmas beats but AC-130 ABOVE 25 Crazy Frog kinda goes hard Industry D was like... pretty hard!
My bluetooth earbuds fucked up for a moment and the audio was all crunchy and I thought that's just how the first beat sounded for like, an entire minute until I realised
beat 25 is basically eating slightly warm 1 day old microwave pizza leftovers after you've been fed nothing but piles of cow shit for 72 hours straight
25 is my favorite out of all of them. It's like he went, "You know what? I'll give them a taste of something that isn't complete trash, so they know I'm just playin'."
