7 Roach House Burned Down
In Pana, Illinois, there once existed the scariest hell-house in all of America. We’ve all had cockroach problems, one or two of the little bugs scurrying across the living room floor but this is totally next level. The infestation in this house was so bad that the fire department had to literally come down and set the house on FIRE. They dug a trench around the building, filled it with straw, dowsed it with gasoline and set it ablaze. The extreme measures were taken because they were worried about the roaches spreading and causing a neighborhood-wide infestation. Either way, good riddance to bad trash.
6 Albuquerque’s Grasshopper Apocalypse
In 2014 the residents of Albuquerque, New Mexico experienced an unexpected side effect of climate change. Albuquerque experienced a bunch of too-hot and too-dry winters in a row which failed to kill off grasshopper eggs that were laid in winter. The result? A huge swarm of grasshoppers being born that were so dense that they actually appeared on weather radar. The radar thought that they were rain clouds rather than extremely scary rolling clouds of bug apocalypse. The fog of grasshoppers were flying into people's faces and caking onto car grills, finding their ways into people’s homes and eating all of their plants and gardens. All people could do was sit and wait for them to die off or leave.
5 Pantry Moths
A Redditor who goes by the username “thepennycollector” was about to dig into a candy bar they noticed something off. It’s lucky that they completely unwrapped it and inspected it before they started eating. At the bottom of the chocolate bar was a larva that was beginning to spew silk and spin a cocoon. Imagine taking a bite into a chocolate bar and instead of nougat, you find a bug mid-metamorphosis. It’s apparently the larva of a pantry moth, bugs which are known for infesting into people's food stocks.
4 Giant Asian Hornet
The Giant Asian Hornet is a terrifying bug on its lonesome. They have thick armor, are about the length of two quarters, and have one of the most painful stings in the Animal Kingdom. They can spray an acid venom that actually melts flesh. If you are swarmed by these hornets and get stung by all of them, it can lead to extreme allergic reactions and multiple organ failure. China was a victim to a series of hot and arid winters which is the ideal climate for these hornets to breed, causing a massive outbreak of these hornets in the country. In 2013, Giant Asian Hornet infestations lead to the deaths of 42 people and at least 1,500 injured.
3 Termites Eat Money
A banker in India walked down into the bowels of the building to retrieve money from their steel vault but what he found was not what he was expecting. The banker found termites that had gotten into the vault and ate through a decent chunk of money. 10 million rupees worth of banknotes were eaten through by the greedy little bugs. That translates to about $222,000 USD. The local police were going to look into it and see if there was any accomplices on the inside who helped the bugs get into a steel vault. The State Bank Of India said however that they were located in an old wood building that has been prone to termite infestations. Regardless of how they got in, these bugs might be the most expensive eaters in the world. Maybe they just have really fine taste?
2 Oklahoman Cricket Swarm
In 2013, Oklahoma witnessed an absolutely enormous infestation of crickets. Like the other sudden swarms of bugs on this list, the sudden boom in cricket population is because of climate change. A dry and hot winter, spring and early summer then combined with rainfall later in the year was the ideal climate for these bugs to multiply. The result was billions of crickets appearing in Oklahoma residences. It was described as “looking like a horror movie”. They were crawling along the ground and outside building walls in huge numbers. When they began to die off the stench of countless crickets dying caused an ever-present stench of rotting meat that was nauseating.
1 Rasberry Crazy Ant Infestation
In 2014, Rasberry Crazy Ants were sweeping through the American Southwest. These ants are called “Crazy” because they have unpredictable erratic movements and they pretty much mow down everything in their wake. They’re also immune to common bug poisons so they seem almost indestructible. They also like to make their home inside of electronics so wherever they were destroying crops and grassfield they were also ruining people’s devices. Combine all of this with the fact they move and reproduce at mind boggling speeds and you just might have one of the worst bug infestations ever.

Im an Aussie too and pulled a lump of bark off the tree next to my bus stop, There were Hundreds of the bloody things... I teleported away from that spot, later in the morning I thought I had a bit of grass in my overalls. Until the Huntsman popped out to say g’day I was oblivious... I add that it took about 5 seconds to be standing there in nothing but my Jocks.

You can have raw ground beef, as well as you can have raw eggs, provided they aren't contaminated. It's sort of playing Russian roulette. If it's really lean ground beef like 96%, I like my hamburgers to be somewhere between medium and medium-well, otherwise it's tough. If it's a nice 85%, I like having them well done and still juicy.

I know what's it like to bite into a candy bar and see that you have eaten worms, when I was about 8 yrs old we went to the store to get a pop and chocolate bars, when we got into the car we began to eat I was about half way through my candy bar when I realized the it tasted weird. When I looked at it. It was all weby inside and half eaten worms needless to say I puked everywhere. I never could eat a baby Ruth again. Ever, believe me I tried.I did was puke.

well you're a little kid there is no suprise you would be easily scared and thus making it harder to sleep. although when i was a kid i slept as soon as i closed my eyes.. but to be fair i was a xanax addict frome age 6 onward so that might help contribute to falling asleep easily. and yes i know 6 is a bit young to start out on xanax but my carers thought it would be helpful to me.. and it was for many years i was taking many milligrams of xanax daily. i went into withdrawal at 13 and have been clean (from xanax) ever since. and i didnt turn out too badly, im just a broke alcoholic junky who lives day by day. but that has nothing to do with anything. the real question is why watch a video you suspect of keeping you awake? unless you're one of the few who purposely sleep deprive themselves into getting halucinations (96hrs or longer from previous experiences) but its really a lot easier to just buy a bottle of dxm or diphenhydramine, now i know those two are deliriants but when i was 11 i drank 3 quarters of a bottle of dxm and tripped the fuck out for the rest of the day. not that i reccomend trying dxm(look it up on google if ur curious i wont be responsible for a minor taking drugs) that is unless you're older than 12 then i say go for gold! and by gold i mean getting as fucked up as possible for as long as possible for the rest of ur life. worked out o.k for me! btw the reason i say 12 or older for dxm is that when i was 11 i gave some to my 7 yr old brother and he had to go to hospital. i think his brain wasnt ready for such a shitstorm of knowledge all at once. i on the other hand had been mentally preparing for a life on drugs from age 6 so i knew what to expect thanks to stories and knowlege passed on to me by my parens. so yea 6 and older you're good to go for weed booze benzos n the like. 12 and up for high doses of deliriants(low doses of dxm or even psychadelics like shrooms or acid are fine for kids, it's once they take too much and pass onto one of the higher plateus that it's risky) opiates, coke, meth etc are all fine as long as you start out with a small dose and work yourself up. anything older than 12 just go fucking wild and get as fucked up as u can before u die. p.s. DO NOT TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY... unless you're over 12 that is!

Pat66 Herbert66 You have to appreciate how caring wolf spiders are though. They actually carry their egg sac everywhere they go, And once they come out of the egg sac they carry their young everywhere they go. If one falls off they stop whatever they were doing to get it back. Just don't hit one with a broom though, The nope train will come for you.

The scary thing about wolf spiders is they look a lot like the very venomous brown recluse. I have a few brown recluses in my garage but my family hasn’t been killing the spiders this year bc of our cricket infestation.

VoiceOfMadzNL I know for a fact that these things live in Florida I got bit by one last yr, and spent the whole month of Dec in the hospital missed Christmas and had to get surgery on my arm because it started to deteriorate the flesh in my arm and had a hole in my arm wide enough to fit 3 fingers across and deep enough to fit the fingers halfway inside. It took 3 months of missed work to heal. I have a dent in my arm where the mussle was.Lets just say I DON'T do spiders

Worst ever? Not even. One wolf spider with babies? They are timid, harmless and live alone, and it really is amazing to see the mum carrying either a huge egg sack under her or all those tiny babies on her back. Roach infested houses, now that's a very common nightmare many poor people have to live with daily. Yuck!

I have a bug story. My husband and our 3 young sons at the time were very excited to move into this very old yet beautiful duplex. Our neighbors seemed very nice and I was loving decorating our new home. Things changed very fast. I am a neat freak, our kitchen was white and so I always mopped before I showered and went to bed.I began to noticed those lil roaches, not the big ones, and I couldnt understand where they would be coming from since I have always been careful about food storage and cleanliness. Well it got worse and worse,I spoke to the landlord and he bought bug spray SMH,,,anyways our phone went out one evening and I needed to make a call so I went to the duplex attatched to ours to see if I could use their phone and OMG!!!,WHEN i WALKED IN i COULD NOT BELIEVE HUMANS WERE LIVING IN SUCH FILTH.!!!I mean roaches everywhere you looked, garbage all over the floors like in that show Hoarders. We had no choice but to move and to leave behind alot of our things for fear of bringing them nasty bugs with us.Sure enough,in our new place some had hitched a ride in our TVs and microwave without us knowing and by the time we found out it was too late. So,,we took our things ,put it all in storage sprayed the storage container with bug spray for about a month while we stayed with family. We made sure those lil bastards were good and dead ! Then once we moved again we were finally bug free. I never thought movin into that pretty lil duplex would turn into such a damn nitemare.

I called Kroger, they asked me to "mail it to them". Had to call them back to find out whats up. The Rep. of Kroger said "I didn't see anything in the shell you sent". "So what do you Want?!" One year in Duluth we had an army worm infestation they were all over the roads, houses , sidewalks, buildings , trees . They ate all the leafs off the trees you couldn't walk without stepping on 30 of them or more each step . I was told once it's supposed to happen every 20 years , but I don't know . One guy started making wine out of the army worms . The smell was horrible .

Mart9511 Killswitch they are freaking gross.can you say VAMPIRE?How are they so smart to know to run, feed only on blood, they crawl into your noses and ears and live in your wax and mucous for days without suffercating how is that? Plus when you do add water or saline they won't come out nor die it takes them 2days after to die.how is that.when you do that to spiders or any other type of God made creepy crawly things they run but these don't they hide more.seem crazy right but nah it doesn't because this might seems strange but I believe that they are like cousins to the VAMPIRES FAMILY in some type of way because when you think about it they do suck our blood, theta don't like the lights, and are wet, cold, and only eat from warm bodies not cold and dead ones.they pop just like the movies VAMPIRES.plus I notice that they backs opens up to suck your blood not the mouths.thats why when you lay on them to squish them that don't pop that just get more flat and run you have to squeeze it with your fingers or a napkin ewwww yuck.
