Can you imagine accomplishing something as big as winning at EVO and then some guy ruins literally all of the good emotions you must feel by essentially saying "I wish you had lost" by throwing a crab at you? That must've ruined Hbox's whole night right there.

Imagine if he completely IGNORED the crab as no one seem to notice it. The crab thrower would been left feeling unaccomplished if that crab he saved to throw went completely Unnoticed

That HBox Crab one is really heartbreaking, look at how his shoulders fall with disappointment at how he is being treated as... I had so many times in friendly competitions when everyone rooted against me, being shouted things and such and having bad things daid about me but never to this extent. Think about it man, this guy is in a big crowd and like all of us he is only just playing the game he likes he is enjoying himself. No matter how much you try to smile, act positive, just one bumo can ruin your mood. Our minds are programmed to see negativity first. Him choking up while saying "How hard I worked up here" really shattered my heart, some people just see others as machines with no dreams no emotions. I know some of them sre in this commentsection too. I just hope HBox realizes how much he has impact on his fans, positive one to be exact. For myself neberh, never have I ever played nor watched smash, yet just hearing about this LEGEND'S story up to this point I can relate to some extent with him. Rooting for you legends. Somr of us DO know how hard you work up there.

As someone who went to the tournament where the crab was thrown I saw someone in the crowd throw it. I think they were wearing a baseball hat and he was sporting a plaid sweater.

I’m still holding my opinion that no matter how cringey a fandom may be, the Smash fandom is the most insufferable in every way. Not just cringe, not just toxic, but a horrible combination of both. A majority of gross, unsportsmanlike behavior.
