You'd have to ask them about that, but if someone suggests a scenario, they might not be able to use it unless they pay you, which isn't going to happen. Truth, so I'm not sure why she's so upset, unless earning all that cash led her to live a high class life that she will be strapped to afford with only half of her pay this month. And I can't remember, but wasn't there a thing about paying them only once every six months or something. Did that get redacted? If they got half pay that month and are still doing the one pay per six months or whatever it was, that'd be a lot more than just half a month lost wages. Gotta admit, kinda hard to keep the lore consistent in my head.

But most people do tend to increase their monthly spending up to whatever they are making a month such that if their pay was cut in half they wouldn't be able to make all of their bills. Basically people will stretch their paychecks to their limits and then complain they live paychack to paycheck because they bought too much car or rent too much house.
