Thank you so much for sharing this! I came that close to ordering the Lectric Xpedition Cargo E-bike. I wasn’t really expecting any problems, but just thought……what if something does go wrong with the bike. The Lectric company won’t even answer the phone when I call. You have to email them. That was a red flag for me. So I decided to actually go into a bike shop and purchased an Aventon Abound Cargo E-bike. Took it for a test ride and really enjoyed it. It has great features. So glad I decided not to order an e-bike online.
Sounds like you made a wise choice! I'm all about helping local bike shops as well since they usually will back up the purchase. Unfortunately we live way out in the middle of Kansas so our options are pretty limited. Enjoy your Aventon! I love mine and I don't have any problems on mine. As for your different speed issue, could it be that because the setting of the wheel diameters on both bike came in on different settings? Like example one is set at 22 and one is 22.5 (just an example) I'm just thinking that could be the factor of it considering it might have came in set different cus one bike is step thru style and one isn't. And for your black one not turning on, from what I'm seeing, the white one has a key in it and I can't spot a key in the black one, but that maybe just me being blind lol, but if it did have the key in it, is it turned on and not on the off position? Cus that would explain how the battery is charged fully but it won't turn on. That's one thing I didn't like about it was u have to have the key in it to turn it on. As for the scuff or paint chip on it, come on now, is that a real reason to hate the bike? Mine fell and my shifter display doesn't show the gear I'm in, but it wasn't a breaking point for me to hate the bike. Thing is, things happens during shipping sometimes u get dents and dings sometimes u get flawless. I have a stigo b1, not from lectric, but a different site, and my battery lip was broken, now I just ride it with a bungee cord wrapped around the battery so it won't fall out. But that doesn't take the fun out of it. My stigo maxes out at around 16mph, while my lectric goes 20 mph throttle/28 mph pedal assist, it doesn't make my experience riding with my kids with 2 different speed variant any less enjoyable. Anyways I know I'm late to comment as I've only came to this video now, but maybe what I said helped ur insight on it or maybe not, but I hope it helped in any way. Edit: also throttle mode u have cruise control, u can have one go a certain speed and set the cruise control on, and then u catch up with throttle till u find the speed is right and turn ur cruise control on, then both ur bike speed should be running the same speed. But that's only throttle mode only not pedaling. Just incase u didn't know
@DIY American if that's the case then there is a short on the controller side, or perhaps a loose plug? Check wiring and if still no good I suggest changing the controller. That would save you more money than to send the bike back. Good luck and I hope it works again! 🙂
I've got a cmacewheel 750w it's the best bike I've owned. Cheaper than others, reliable and fast. Been modifying the heck out of it and learnt a lot about ebikes. I would try replacing the controller before shipping it. If you've got a voltage pen, you could see if there is any power being sent to the motor. If it's not sending power, then it's most likely the control unit. Control unit would be less than 50 bucks.

Thanks for the tip. I'll try that. We recently moved to a new state so the bikes have not been touched lately. I definitely need to get it up and running again even though I'll probably end up selling it.
I have 5 e bikes, non of them are lectric. I think maybe you just got a lemon or something? All I hear is good things about Lectric?? We’ll I hope you got the situation rectified.
