Thank you for this comment I got married in 2017 December Also my I am elder daughter in my house me & my younger used to earn for our family my mother set my lehenga which was around 12k from Dadar Mumbai but I said no & I got it from another place which was around 5k also it was colour maroon & fabric velvet it was worth it that my nikah lehenga was fabulous. I wonder how people spend so much for one day outfit Also my In-laws got me a lehenga which was around 15k which was also good but unfortunately I was never able to wear those lehenga.
I am myself a designer .Never buy a lehenga which doesn't share you with a sample image while the work is going on. They know you couldn't do anything after its ready.
Same happened with me .. they gave completely different embroidery.. and never admit their mistake.. better to buy on spot then customise the size from your regular tailor
I am from indore, for my wedding I was visiting several stores, I liked one lehenga at the posch store it was 80 k, my budget was not that much, plus I felt like why to buy it if you can do your honeymoon out of this much amount, then I went to local shop, staff was so good, I got a ahead eache , they gave me water, tea called me didi, understood my wedding way, ceremony, then showed me lehenga, I got much beautiful lehenga in 18 k, with customization, on schedule. My point small shops are much much better then brand, there service is genuine.
Same here I had gone to Chandni Chowk and went to various shops but got my both wedding and reception lehengas within 50k with customisation from lesser known shop. They were really good and did a great job and delivered on time that too in Kolkata. That too within a month since date was fixed soon. These branded shops just fool and charge more.
My sister got her lehnga from Kamal Bhai in Chandni Chowk. It's a famous store. Guess what, when we showed up at the store to get the lehnga some 20 days before the wedding (which was scheduled by them only) they gave us the lehnga but didn't give us the chunni, they said it's not done yet and that they'll deliver it. They didn't deliver it and they even stopped answering our calls after 3-4 calls! Somebody had to go to Delhi and get that chunni just a day before the wedding! They are pathetic people!
I was looking for this shop . I also bought my lehnga from kamal bhai .they cheated me. My lehnga was not even ready 1 day before my wedding they delivered my lehnga on my wedding day also spoiled my Blouse. The extra dupatta was not even matching . They were so rude .I fought with them . Gave me broken complementary accessory. Ohhhh my god I will never buy from them . I also I feel the lehnga work is different from sample piece .
@@preetip9347 the way that Kamal Idiot talks when he has to convince you on a lehnga and then the way he deals with you when you want the delivery of the item, it's like 2 different people! He'll make you feel so little as if he's Ambani and we're poor people bugging him for no reason!
Just one day before my marriage me and my dad stayed their at kamalbhai store for completing Embroidery work on my wedding lehanga..everything was holly shit because everybody was staring at me with the bridal mehandi ...and duptta was also different...and even the fitting of my blouse...sales person said give me 2 more days appka blouse dubara se stitched krdenge ...ye toh double shit ki meri next day marriage hai or inhe ye nonsense baat krni hai
Five years back, I went through the same crap. The kicker? When I called them out, they acted like total goons, hurling disrespectful language on my way.
He bhagwan, ab shadi ka lahnga bhi shanti se nahi kharidne de raha hai koi, ye bhi task ho gaya hai, isse achha to kisi local store se hi lelo kyuki shadi is more important than expensive and undesired outfit aur local stores ke owners misbehave bhi nahi karte.
I went there in 2019... they were like apki appointment book h(I m like outfit ke liye b appointment 🙄) ....then she says bahr hi wait Karo... hmari collection 1 lac onwards start hoti h ....non bridal 80 k(then I was like enough....let's leave)
Same is happened with me at Chandni chownk. I went at Bhaghwati saree emporium, they delayed the making of lehnga like nothing and finally handed over it around 15 days before my wedding and the length of lehnga is not exactly what I had given to them. It was short as hell and the experience was night mare for me too. Please buy ready to take materials
Chandni Chowk mai Ratiram Ramvinod se humne lehenga shopping ki thi, bahut achha lehenga bheja unhone. Agr Chandni Chowk se aap lehenga shopping krte ho toh plz kisi jaanne wale k sath hi jayen. Agr possible na ho toh apni local market se hi shopping krna chahiye wo kam se kam safe toh rahega.
I faced same issue at kamal bhai saree wala, I picked Lehanga for my mehandi for around 20k, I paid 11k in advance.. when I went for trail the colour of dupatta, blouse and Lehanga was mismatched. I asked for refund they didn’t do.. they kept arguing that this is the same Lehanga u picked they literally made me cry. But these Chandni chawl people are so ruthless once u done the payment, they don’t care about your emotions n feelings. Finally I told them to keep the Lehanga n keep the money u beggars.. mere sath me ek ladki thi uska bridal lehenge ke blouse ke sath unhone gadbad kar di thi..
If you go to golcha in Kolkata ram mandir they also cheated us buy not providing the lengha in proper size by adding small pieces of clothes and not refunding the amount given as deposit and that to few days before the wedding.
same thing happened to me as well at my wedding they showed pink lehngaaa n they gave another one which was horrible and they were not ready to accept as well
I also wanted to buy from this place but before going I did some research and found out the same about them so went to a local shop which was actually a very good experience … they delivered on time and everything was exactly the way I wanted
The same thing happened to me when I placed the order for my lehanga at the so called famous Sudhir Bhai saree wala. Selected a lehanga, but on lavender color base in place of the red sample one. For 50 days, I kept asking for the sample pictures from the owner’s son named Hanut. Once we reached their outlet, the lehanga they had prepared was completely different design than the selected one, on top of that the misbehaviour on part of the owner’s son added fuel to fire. But we kept fighting and got our advance back.
Similar incident happened with me when i bought my bridal lehenga from DISHA AND TANUSHREE at Shahpur Jaat , Delhi !! She gave me my lehenga a week before my wedding after severaaaaaal visits and it was still incomplete. I had no other option and wore what i’d received . These sellers do not understand that Bride is generally already under so much pressure and stress before wedding and such incidents become traumatic for her .

When you shop at places that mass produce designer outfits this is bound to happen! You can checkout designer labels if not big then small who put their heart into their work Fashiana in rajouri is a must try
Yeah yeah they have made the appointment process so difficult and they will let us down if u say your budget is 1 lac. I am so happy I walked out from there and found a very good lehenga in 50k with additional duppata
I had same experience in chandni chowk but in different shop i got different blouse from which was shown while buying but when i called them they were really very humble and changed my blouse yes it took some time but the manager there was really very helpful and had changed my blouse immediately he came to know.
This thing happened to me as well they didn't let me took pictures but luckily i got the same piece i choose at the time of delivery. And this lehnga might not cost this much but they charge heavily due to rent of shop. We all can see this thing ain't 2.5l
Has happened with me also in a different famous designer brand. Exact same thing. Have made a policy that will not buy from ANY designer who does not allow me to take a snap of the sample piece. One really feels cheated
A kind of similar thing happened to me. one of the good lehenga shop located in Chandni chowk by the name of paradise plaza. My husband and I went there and brought two lehengas one for my engagement and one for the wedding. Firstly they failed to deliver the product on the same date somehow I managed to get my engagement lehenga from them on paying additional to them and what they have committed for wedding lehenga was not delivered few of the items were missing and from many places embroidery was falling off... I requested several times but they didn't give ear to it. In logon ko bas sale krne se mtlb hota hai sentiments se nahi.

I went to them in 2015..same thing happened with my wedding lehnga.. they took the order and gave me a pick up date of 1 week before the wedding..when i saw the blouse, they turned it into a square neckline instead of a sweatheart neckline..plus the neckline was so deep that it wasn’t wearable..when i asked them to change it then the owner of the shop ( i think his name is ankit ) he refused to make any changes..spoke to me extremely rudely and said take it or leave it… after crying( proper tears rolling down) in the shop in front of him and pleading him to help for 30 mins he finally agreed to make some slight alterations so that the neckline is not very deep but insisted that he will not change it to original sweatheart shape blouse..I had no choice but to re visit their shop again 2 more times(2 days prior to wedding for the same) and had to wear that pathetic looking blouse….they are rude, liers ,arrogant and cheats…worst experience ever…
Thank God, due to covid I wasn’t able to purchase from Chandi Chowk and at last, I purchased my lehenga from “Lucknow. The shop name was “Calcutta Regalia”. They took 2 months and the lehenga was beautiful 😍 It was around 40k 😊

Most of the Chandani Chowk lehnga shops do the same thing, they show beautiful peace but make different low quality. Same thing happened with me. Shop name RAGHAV CREATIONS
So true yr mere sath bhi hua tha Chandni chowk Mai mene first time liya tha lehenga muje nhi pta tha kitne k aate hai muje 6k ka Diya or wo muje apne yaha se 1200 Tak ka mil jata Mai to kabhi nahi jaugi Chandni chowk apne ghr k yahi se lugi i hate chandani chowk for lehenga shopping now and I also recommend to all people to not shop from Chandni chowk better shop near by shop thanks
I got married last year.. I purchased a fine work lehenga for m wedding which cost me 10K only. Here's a small thing I considered while buying the lehenga that I may or may not qear this lehenga in the future so I shall not spend too much on things like this.. Instead I invested other amounts in SIP and LIC for my future
Same happened with me but it was anothee store .. sample piece was so good work was so fine .. but when i got my wedding lehenga its was totally different even color was not same .. it was really ganda vala red.. then i went back to their shop and i returned it but they didn’t give me the refund at least they told me to choose another lehenga ..
Thats why Varun is so famous, me and my sister bought from them , on time delivery, price is reasonable, no misbehave, deliver what they show, one and only best shop ever in Chandni chowk, beware of goons
My sister recently wedded I was there for her shopping got a really good lehnga around 30,000 Acha gera hai bhut pyare trending colours hai ache s pack hoke mila. Second dupatta Saleen vala vo 2 hi colours Mai milta tha red and maroon I guess but thoda kehne p we got green because lehnge m colour tha. Really happy got good treatment while shopping. Meerut Pushpanjali store at shardha road. Lakho ke lehnge b hai wha but budget Mai nahi tha hmare.
Actually its true very bad experience in chandni chowk they charge you exorbitant prices. Mine was two lehenga one was of 1.10 and other was of 1.5 i too had worst experience
People in Chandni chowk are just garbage. "The shopkeepers". They don't even know how to talk and treat the customers. Worst and abusive way of talking. I just hate those shopkeepers in Delhi Chandni chowk.
Better visit Kolkata, go to Satyanarayan park market or any shop or even in new market area you ll get better than this in 5-10% price. Delhi is getting too much hype
I bought 33k lehenga from chandni chowk only. Didnt even consider going to such big names. Everything was so smooth and they were so accomodating. To this date, women of extended family are asking me about the lehenga details. Nobody believes the price when i tell them!
Baap re, ye log had krte h.....maine bhi recently ek lehenga liya, alter Krane gyi to lehenge me bahut defects dikhe......mere ache khase paise lg gye😢😢
