The G chord is the third chord I learned. I also learned that chord just by watching others play it. It's a really easy chord to do so that doesn't prove anything.
I actually came to take up for the guy if the dude made fun of him. When I first started, like everyone when they first start, I sucked. Loved the twist though. lol 😂
I was watching this and noticed that he was making the G chord shape perfectly after he picked up the guitar. That struck me as suspicious. But, I didn't expect the ending. Good job. Lol
It doesn't, but clean sweep picking isn't easy to learn and if they extended the video to show off the guy's full range of talent, it'd probably take away from the joke.
The uploader is right. Worst- meaning the guy who does the opposite of best. Noob- someone who doesn’t know what the fuck they’re doing. Double negative.
I knew that this was gonna be a fraud because the second he picked up the guitar he went straight to a G chord lol, and I'm not gonna lie I do it too, basically a force of habit at this point.
If you watch around 0:34 this is one of the biggest noob mistakes you can make. When I was in my first band I let a friend do the same thing this guy is doing, he held my les Paul up in the air by the strap with 2 hands, and the guitar fell out of the strap, headstock straight into the concrete and cracked the neck through. That was in the 80s, and I still have that les Paul today thanks to my guitar teacher at the time gluing and clamping to repair it. Just saying, don't let anyone touch your guitar unless they know what they are doing, or are under close supervision. And a always move the guitar around with your left hand gripping the neck. Not by hold the strap in the air with 2 hands!
Jeff Green actually my friend did the same, he grabbed my guitar with two hands by the strap I looked at the strap junction with guitar and it was coming out and I told him to watch out cause the guitar was gonna fall off, it almost fell and he caught it mid air, it's stupid really to let anyone who don't play the instrument touch your guitar
Well....Unless you have this neat thing called..straplocks....You know, those things that keep the strap in place so that exact thing doesn't happen? I guess you're a noob too since you seem to not know that. You also clearly didn't watch the video all the way because at the end, he starts sweeping. Which is extremely advanced. It's safe to say this guy is nowhere near new to guitar. In fact, the fact that you couldn't tell this was horrible acting says more about you than you think.
You know, I kind of feel the same way about too much sweeping in a solo, but I can't explain why. Cue the elitist saying "because you're a douchebeg" (not "douchebag", because that isn't metalz).
kungfuman82 The 2 biggest secrets in guitar playing are these: 1. Sweeping is cheating. 2. Tapping is easy as hell, even though it sounds and looks impressive
Christopher Garcia Who cares. It didn't sound like he has any reverb. Also, he probably recorded this in about an hour and not gonna get everything perfect for you, princess.
Carlos Gonzalez I hate sweep picking but it's the only thing I can do :c I saw a guy play super fluid and fast arpeggios by tapping the notes on one string and skippig a string on a youtube video but I can't find it.
I like how everyone's so butthurt over him going straight to sweep picking to show he had skill. It's quick, easy, he did it right, and everyone knows that a complete complete noob can't sweep pick, regardless of how "easy" it is. It's a joke, guys. Chill the fuck out
Well if you understand English, Worst guitar noob means that he's the worst noob techincally meaning that he sucks at being a noob, therefore he's a God.
There are all these kids now that play like this. It's just another video game, learning tricks, no emotion, soulless repetition. None of these idiots could play a Neil Young song properly, can't wail like Van Halen, no feel, no musicality. They're just hammering on an Xbox
I had a feeling he was just gonna straight up wail out on the guitar suddenly, I didn't notice he was faking at first to be honest so I don't see how everybody else noticed his bad acting!
I could tell right off the bat at the start of the video that that was a sketch because the guy said he didnt played for 7 years. tho the amp was already on and the guitar already plugged. and for those who say that he could have just left them like that is wrong, because those pickups are active, so if he let the guitar plugged the 9V battery start draining, and if he left it like that the guitar would not work cause the battery would be empty
Guessed the end when he held the guitar for the first time. The fretting hand has played many MANY power chords over the years, can't fight muscle memory!
Whatever. This was just a video they made for fun obviously. I'm sick of all these music snobs who think that they're the shit and go around bashing people if they ever show off technique. Playing slow blues all the time doesn't make you good either. Sweeping takes many hours of practice to learn and master, and takes just as much skill as any other technique. Stop acting like a snob and enjoy the damn video.
Wow this was what actually happened to me when i first tried to play the guitar except i wasnt just using my fingers on the fretboard and i wasn’t picking the strings and sadly i never had any guitar and i never got to play a guitar.
