Ngl it’s kinda cool to see the ride in one-car mode. Definitely see where there’s some audio overlay and animation issues, but in my opinion it doesn’t kill the experience!
okay so, B-Mode Kylo is the ONLY majorly disappointing thing... the rest of this is just nitpicks, like the normal, average park goer is never gonna pick up on that. I didn't even pick up on half of the things wrong until I read the comments. This is FAR from "worst ride-through"
I just love the drop. You see the pod in front of you, and it’s just enough time to realize that you will drop too, but you only register that once it drops
It’s a tough operational decision to open or not in this situation. what the non-negotiables that must work is the question. This is still a pretty sweet ride through and even got the moving back-and-forth cannons. Which is a rare thing these days. We know final ren is not one of them as there is a b mode. Clearly one of the elevators in the ATAT room was down, so they were running with one car per cycle. There were several places throughout the right path where they were storing extra cars. from the unload station to the load station is a charging queue that would hold roughly 5 to 10 trains. If the ride is running at 50% they need to store the cars somewhere. Looks like the ride was even designed for this too.
It seems that the other elevator is being worked on, hence why the ride is operating in 1 car mode, and that may be why the 2 cars in front of the fake doors are for. They may not have enough space in the back area. As for the 2nd Kylo, I can't explain that, he might just have been broken on your ride expirence.
disney needs to shut it down for a refurb to get all the effects working again cause ever since it got struck by lighning it has looked in a poor condition
The two times I get a boarding pass to this ride, it broke down. The first time I didn’t get a chance to enter the building. The second time, I got to the storm troopers, then our group got kicked out as it broke down. This really sucks!!!!
Little bit of a late theory but if I had to guess when running on such low capacity there isn’t enough ride vehicle queue slots so they have to stuff extras wherever they can. Probably wrong tho but 🤷♂️.
@@AFRspaceAgain this is super late, but that's correct! The maintenance bay can only hold so many. The ride has 38. So if they are only running 19, they have to put some of them throughout the ride to get them out of the way. There is also quite a bit of room in between unload and load that they can queue up as well.

Good lord. That was fine. So what? You got B-roll Kylo in his ship instead of the animatronic. Still a great ride, regardless. Rides have issues sometimes. They’re sophisticated electronics, and they can malfunction. How many years have we lived with static Yeti? Nothing that happened here should upset anyone that was riding it.
I agree. As someone who would have no idea what the effects are, they would not even notice it that much. Blog Mickey has always been negative compared to others.
On the showdown if you look out the windows, somehow the ships actually look 3d and not on a screen. its weird and ive been trying to find videos of how it works but was unsuccessful
What is the compensation for this? Do you get at least an apology for your wasted time? I have seen Worse breakdowns, defective animatronics , cars stuck in the elevator with endless music loops, even energy shortages
