These are the worst things about owning a Tesla Model Y or Model 3. I find many of these things annoying to my everyday experience with the car but overall, I still love it. The first thing I had to do when my Tesla was delivered was install a 50 amp dryer outlet so I could charge at a fast speed overnight. You could also buy the tesla wall charger for an extra $550. This car also does not come with a key. There are many more thing that bother me about this car and I would like to hear your thoughts about it too.

No one cares.

I have reached a point in life where I feel it is no longer necessary to try to impress anyone. If they like me the way I am, good. And if they don't, it's their loss.

Why the hate? I can assure you, there are many who care to know the Tesla negatives from someone’s perspective.

@Dan Salas 🙏🏼. Appreciate people like you and everyone else who clicks on one of my videos no matter if they have something good or bad to say. I actually think its fun to reply to the negative ones because they never except my response. Usually they don’t reply back because there’s nothing else to say. I’m actually going to pin this so more ppl get the message.✌🏼

Wrong... a 120v wall outlet will charge your Tesla at around 3-4 mph not 10mph as you mentioned. You NEED a 50 amp circuit breaker and Nema outlet to effectively charge your car. You had to walk 10 minutes because you were locked out of your car to find a charger???? How can a charger help you get into your car if it's locked? You don't make a lot of sense.

The charging speed info was from tesla’s site and I confirmed it with other research. However when I was using the charger and the 120v outlet I never got 10 so it’s probably closer to 5. I apologize about my wording on the outlet and you’re correct. I don’t know too much about that stuff just know ifs 50 amp and nema outlet with adapter. And yes I did walk to find a phone charger so I could use my phone to unlock it. Thank you for checking out the video though. I appreciate you and everyone else. 👍🏼

Thank you. You can ask the car to open the glove box, convenient.

Tesla fan boi here. All valid points. Though for most issues there are work arounds. Modding to make it unique. LR version if you’re going on long trips. The key card is kind of a head scratcher. Did you leave the house without your license? Because those two should always be together. The proprietary parts is an issue. Unfortunately this will be a widespread issue among all makers of goods

There definitely are work arounds. My last vid was pretty much all the good stuff so I thought make one about the negatives. I use the apple MagSafe wallet and it really only fits two cards- license and credit card. I appreciate you checking out the video and have a blessed day.

Kinda agree about having to wait about 15 to 20mins for each super charge during a ling trip isn’t so fun. Sometimes I just wanna do one shot drive to get to my destination. But that’s a trade off with other good things about Tesla. I’m willing to sacrifice that.

The amount of times that i am actually going on a trip is so few it really isn’t a problem. Go check out my vid on all the good things (if you want :). Thank you for watching

@@RyanHuffman that’s opposite from me. I travel a lot. Tesla will help me reduce the gas expense, if I will have to do my traveling with gas car again, it would cost me between $4000-$5000 a year for gas only. That’s the beauty of EV comes in to save me.

Oh wow that’s really good! You better have an extended range!!!

One good thing and a solution to seeing copies exactly like yours is that Teslas have so many third party products to let you customize your car.

Definitely agree! I want to get mine wrapped but its pretty expensive. I looked and it said about 3-5k depending on what you get

@@RyanHuffman I got mine partially wrapped....just the hood and the roof pillars. Much less than doing the whole car and you can get a unique look

haha lol... man you don't even get what Tesla concept is, right? Most of what you stated as negatives are actually intentional positives

Yes i know. I made a video with all the positives and this is all the “negatives”
