Just want to say that this combo perfectly fits my iPad and portability needs. I didn’t have the money for the Magic Keyboard for the iPad and type a lot of Afrikaans, but there is literally zero problems with this combo.
I really love this keyboard both for at home and for travel use. Nice typing experience and very quiet. I do kinda wish they would come out with a premium version with backlighting.
I'm sorry for giving lots of comments. Haha, but I think it was a perfect video. Perfectly executed with no BS, detailed information including unknown things to most users of this peripherals. I'd say just 1 thing is that I think it'll be great if you included the clicking sound of the mouse. That's the only downside to this video but with that said, everything about it is great! 🤝🏻 Hopefully you'll gain lots of subs and incomes through this channel.
Thanks a lot for watching and for your comments! And for your suggestion to include the sound of mouse clicks. But it will be really hard to capture the real sound as it is really a silent mouse. 😊 let me see what I can do in my next upcoming videos.
@@MindyC thanks a lot! Would love to watch more of your videos. Seems like you can be somewhat a great tech RU-vidr on your own. Although I prefer Android and Windows haha.
Hi everyone. Sorry I'm here again. Just wanted to clarify if you find yourself with your k380s keyboard lags a lot or you noticed there's too much latency to the point that it's unbearable. You might want to have only this keyboard with the Bluetooth connections. I'm using Logitech MX Master 2s and K380s ik the mouse is overkill. But bare with me. I find that whenever I turned off my mouse to test things out on typing test. The latency or lag don't appear anymore. I simply used the unnifying receiver (usb receiver) to connect it to my laptop instead. That's all from me. Hope it helps
thanks for sharing your experience and sorry to hear that you experience lag using the K380s. So far for me, I have not noticed any lag when I use it together with the pebble mouse or other mouse. Good that you have the unifying receiver to stop the lag.
I think you should make a short and cut some of the videos and it'll be useful for people checking for tutorials such as "how to pair keyboards with the code" it'll help boost views, subscribers and watch time too. You got nothing to lose imo.
Thanks again for your comment and for your suggestions! I already made videos on how to connect the keyboard with the code, but maybe I will make a new one 😉 I also have many videos on the keyboard shortcuts but with the old K380. I think most of it still work on the iPad.
Great video! Are the mouse and keyboard syncronized? Ie, is it enough to simply change the device on the keyboard (so the mouse change to the same device automagically)? So you don't have to click on the button that is UNDER the mouse, which disrupts the work flow for me.
sounds like you are looking for something that the Logitech Flow can offer. I have not used it myself but it looks like you can setup the Logitech Flow inside the Logitech Options+ app.
Another plus for the Pebble 2's are that both mouse and keyboard now have auto sleep function, so even if you accidentally left it on or forgot to power off, you dont have to worry about the battery being drained since both will sleep after a minute of inactivity. The scrolling for Pebble 2 mouse is smoother than the old one but its still jittery, i think likely cause of how it just emulates the scrolling as if you're using a finger, so if you scroll slowly it goes pixel by pixel, and if you scroll fast it increases the speed... Kinda like an artificial robotic finger 😅 That and you get these in a bundle now, which is much cheaper compared to buying them separately (even Pebble 1s) where I'm from
@@MindyC I should be thanking you instead haha, I managed to find out about this keyboard after finding your channel while looking for decent and affordable keyboards that can be used for multiple devices! ^^ Safe to say I binged watched a lot of your videos on your review and experience with the keyboard, and it solidified my decision to get it, a lot of reviews for KBMs are always first impressions but never how to devices hold up in the long term especially from constant use
Thanks for pointing out that its possible to flip the function keys. As a scripting guy I use them a lot and I don't want to install software (hunders of mb's and with auto-updates, links to their website and useless stuff) to be able to just do that. I am using the K380 for some years and I get used to it but I have some lag on my Android phone. But thats not a big deal. Only switch to respond to messages and people keep asking how I can type such long messages on my phone :) But have to search for the feature to switch the mouse also. Otherwise I still need a kind of a KVM switch (with hdmi) to switch between computers. Edit: many people wont be allowed to install Logic Flow on their work laptop so thats not an option.
I don’t have the Logi Bolt usb receiver. I am connecting these 2 to my iPad by bluetooth. According to Logitech’s website, one usb receiver for both devices. www.logitech.com/en-us/products/combos/pebble-2-keyboard-mouse-combo.920-012199.html
I just got my iPad and choosing between a Logitech combo touch vs a pebble 2 combo. Which is better? I don’t have any casing on for my iPad at the moment. Watching yr video you mentioned that the combo don’t really works for iPad? I know that iPad cannot download the logi options+ so I can’t customize the top keys. So seems the combo is a better option?
The Combo Touch in my opinion works better as it’s specifically designed for the iPad. But it is more expensive than the Pebble 2 Combo. The K380s keyboard works well with the iPad even if you cannot customize the keys. The mouse is the one that doesn’t work so well, and this I noticed too on other non-Apple mice. Hope that helps!
Does the k380s have better (less) latency than the k380, in bluetooth or logic bolt connect? I use the K380 almost exclusively and the only problems i have with it are occasional connectivity issues and latency.
I have not experienced any latency issues on my old K380 and the K380s, at least nothing noticeable when I am typing. I don’t have the logi bolt usb receiver, so I cannot say if there is any difference. maybe others who have it may comment here.
I have a question! So when you connect the keyboard and mouse to the iPad, you can automatically use it on any monitor? Of course, if the iPad is connected to the monitor. I just ordered a gaming monitor and would like to use it as a computer as well. I also have the same keyboard and mouse, it’s pretty nice for the price 👍🏻 definitely worth it :)
I recommend you to watch my other video and it will answer your question i hope 😉 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-a-EUcT2bmgo.htmlsi=DORqLIAUv3KPYmdV
Thanks a lot for watching! it’s mainly the scrolling that is not smooth. You can watch my older videos on K380 and Pebble mouse where I tried to show & explain that.
Checkout my other video where I tried to answer this question 😉 How to use the Pebble Keys 2 K380s Keyboard with iPad? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4AtH9KaW1Wk.html
Mind telling me the fragile part? Which one broke cause I'm considering on the MX Keys too for the future. This was the middle ground for the portability and tactility

in the video you can see 2 packagings = no dongle. If you buy the Pebble 2 Combo (1 pack with the 2 devices inside), it will come with a USB Logi Bolt dongle.
