My Blood is about his family, especially his brother. Chlorine is about songwriting and how he's dipping into dark stuff but it makes him a living. Smithereens is the sequel to Tear In My Heart, it's about his wife Jenna (also "weigh 153" was about how he couldn't beat somebody up because he's a smol boi) Neon Gravestones is about the glorification of suicide, especially of celebrities Pet Cheetah was a song he made to get over writer's block (which is what it's about) and he decided to put it on the album. Legend was a song he wrote after his grandfather died while he was making the album.
