That cable you mentioned is the attachment for the hose inlet plug. If you remove the hose for cleaning or transportation, you just unscrew the cap attached to the cable and place it over the hose inlet.

This works great when cutting fibre cement sheets, doesn't need to be emptied very often surprisingly, it actually makes sense to use the tstak system great for indoor work and most the tools come with tstak boxes plunge saw etc, i made a dust seperator out of another tstak box get very little dust in th actual vac.

Hi you want to know what that plug was on the side of the Hoover when you take the hosepipe out on the side with that button follow the metal ring and you will find a piece that you pull out and pushes in where you’ve taken the hose out

Thanks for the review. A few questions - What's the run time on a 9 ah battery? Does it have variable suction? Is that 125 cfm at the end of the hose or the inlet?
@markjarman7819
@markjarman7819 3 года назад
I have 2 of them. One stays hooked up to my table saw and the other travels about with me. There great on the rail saw. Very portable needs the big batteries for run time but great kit. The tank in the bottom could be bigger and I don’t use the bags. They should be reusable with a zip.

There are adapters to add tstak to toughsystem
@MyFortressConstruction
@MyFortressConstruction 2 года назад
It's so close to what I want, but just not quite. Dewalt really needs to make one that either acts as a base cart, or clips into the toughsystem. Give us 120v capacity like the Miter saw and you've got something.

I dont have one but I want one. I wish that dewalt would come out with a vacuum thats small and it connects to the dewalt cordless track saw, and you could be completely cordless and hose less, like it wouldbe just for the track saw and be a stand alone unit. I have an idea in my head of how it would work and attach to the tool.

Brad, I love t stak ( versa stack) but I’m noticing wat less selection at Lowe’s for versa and no t stak in my home depot. I’m getting nervous they r getting out of the tstak line? Any news or rumors u know. Or is this just one of those scarce products with covid and China over last ten months. Just bought some family dewalt for Christmas. Wondering if I should encourage them to get out and return before I bought a product that will be discontinued. . Thx in advance
@coreycantrell1627

DeWalt actually just reinvested in both the t-stak this year, launching a line of new IP rated boxes (new versions of previous boxes effectively) but still a sign it’s not going anywhere. Tstak is overwhelmingly popular in the European markets so id be very very surprised if it went away
