Here is a review of the WORX cordless screwdriver I got from Banggood. This is a good screwdriver for the money and one thing I forgot to mention in the video is that this has a metal body where most other cordless screwdrivers are ABS. So if you drop this puppy there is less chance of it breaking or cracking. This is one reason why this one is a bit more expensive than other units on the market.

i've bought a "FERM" 4V cordless screwdriver, and it looks exactly like the one you have demonstrated here. The same battery, same square metal housing with rubber around it (albeit blue color), same torque settings, just the ferm version has 4 LED lights, and seems like an even better buy (18.50, but doesn't come in a box, with additional bits, like yours does) and i bought a ELLIX bit box, with over 50 different bits for like 7 usd, and i'm loving it, i wanted to see an in depth review of mine, but i couldn't find any item like it, and this one is basically the same thing, just rebranded. amazing video, getting a sub from me

Just back into the UK from a trip to Hong Kong. Cruising the fantastic tool shops there, I bought by the successor WORX 242 with 30 bits on chance. At HK$270 (£27), it was low risk! It's only released in Asian markets so far, but looks very good. Not yet tried it for real, but I'm sure its a good'un. WORX design and make excellent tools in my experience.

I recently bought the WEN 4V Max Lithium Ion Rechargeable Cordless Electric Screwdriver and Flashlight with Carrying Case and 40+ Accessories, $22.62 it now lists at Lowe's for $26.61 I used it to assemble The General 4 drawer tool chest from Harbor Freight and it performed just fine. What proved to be an advantage was the ability to swivel from a straight driver to a gun configuration. besides the light on the tip, there's a flashlight built into the butt of the handle. It's a keeper! I had that same B&D driver 20-some years ago, it remained a good driver in spite of the batteries going out long after I bought it.

It has more torque than I expected and it replaced the awful Dewalt gyroscope screwdriver that was really annoying. For bigger jobs, I have both Milwaukee m12 and Bosch 12v drivers. Mostly I use it on RC cars and radio.

I have the Bauer version which I think goes on sale for $15. It doesn’t have the different torque settings though.

You did a very good job in your video but I do have a question you said the torque settings were low high and Max what's the difference between high and Max....wouldnt High be medium? Hope you can explain.

The two aren't really comparable since the only advantage worx has over your impact is it's convenient size (useful in cramp spaces, less bulk and weight to carry, pocket size so ya always have a power tool on hand). Your M12 is much more powerful and serves way more purpose than this worx model. I use both (M12 tools + enertwist electric screwdriver) for different purposes, the electric screwdriver mainly for convenience like I mentioned above but I also work in the trades and can't work without real power tools.

I find this screwdriver a better design than all the other brands, absolutely. Getting one. The others are either too long, or the trigger is too far to the end not letting you get a good grip.

The Skil driver has an even better, circular trigger position. But in all other aspects, including the packaging, Worx is better.

@@randyc2525 All the scanners that I have tested all work on any OBD2 system. Consumer grade diesels will also have an ODB2 system, but commercial trucks (Peterbuilt, Caterpillar) will probably be different. All the scanners I have tested are good, but all have their quirks. The one I like best is probably the Xtool D7 because it is the smallest and fastest. It connects and reads everything really fast and has lots of features.

Thanks for the video. I would have like to see how many screws it can drive before running out of power. Because of its small form, the battery would be small and may not hold a long charge.

It's powered by one 18650 battery so that gives you an idea of how long it will last.

In other words the torque range in the manual says 22 to 44-in pounds which equals 2.5 to 5 nm I'm not seeing anything about 8 nm. Can you enlighten?

I read that you can apply upto 8nm in manual mode. More torque than that will damage the device. The device itself can apply a max of 5nm

If you open it up and have a little know how, sure you can do that. It probably just uses an 18650 battery.

@@kpatt2006generallly it’s safe to use a screwdriver with magnetic bits because the level of magnetism isn’t high enough to damage anything, but ofc always be cautious

Just bought one. Don’t limp wrist it. Little sucker actually has enough power to twist your wrist. That was on the first torque setting also. Haha

Sure, it does not matter. As long as the plug in side is USB-C the other side does not matter.

You probably can. One volt over should not cause any damage. The manufacturer would probably say Not to do that.

It charges with a normal USB charger which is included. I don't see why you would need anything else.

Looking at getting one of these or the skil twist 2.0 for household work and flat pack furniture etc. as both are similar price, any recommendations?

@@1982craigyboy They are both good products but I have not tested the Skil. I don't think you can go wrong with either choice. This one works fine but it can break your wrist since it doesn't know when to stop twisting when you get to the end.

It doesn't have an ON or OFF button. It works when you press the button and then doesn't work when you don't. So it is literally OFF all the time unless you are pressing the button to turn it.
