This is a review of the Worx WX261 Brushless Lithium Ion Impact Driver.
I found this driver really really good and had to struggle to find anything wrong with it so have been more than happy to include it in my collection of existing Worx tools!

Thanks for the review. I like Worx tools. I worked with my father's 16V impact & drill driver set on one of my projects, and it was great.

Impact drivers are life changing if you're used to doing everything with just a drill. This one looks nice!

You actually made me laugh during a review of an impact driver! I certainly wasn't expect that; good work! Shame that Worx don't seem to sell this model anymore. I can only find the WX291 model on their website which is brushed :(

@Ulysses Villasan I've not used either but, on paper at least, it would seem so. The WX261 has a brushless motor and higher torque than the WX291.

Glad I made you laugh! It looks like it might be discontinued or possibly out of stock as I know a few tool manufacturers are currently struggling with stock. I'd be pretty confident using the replacement but suspect(and hope) I have many years of this one working well :)

You may have to go for Ryobi a little more expensive and better build quality but, still an affordable brand.

I have used every make of cordless drills,drivers on the planet and worx 20v have out lasted my £300 Makita my £200 DeWalt my £150 Ryobi and all the rest . Now I am retired I only buy worx great price for great tools. Bought my first worx about 10 years ago 20v drill abused it a lot and wanted it to die so I had a reason to upgrade to the next model it is still going strong so I upgraded anyway.

I also have many worx tools, the brushless impact driver it awesome i have the later model than this though. Even left it in the rain once, led light was a bit funky after that but seemed to have sorted itself after a few months. Would recommend getting a 4ah battery though get alot more power out of it and run time, especially if you plan on getting other worx tools like the skill saw.

Awesome video love your sense of humor. Even though you said it is mostly for DIY can it compete with some of the most popular brands and preform well?

Thanks! Yes I think so, the specs are better than some of the more well known brands and it seems rugged enough though significantly cheaper.

I realise it is NOT an Impact Wrench, but do you think it would suffice in taking off Wheel Bolts? I have a Tri-Axle Trailer with tyres that run at 95PSi so are prone to punctures. Having something like this to help change wheels would be massively beneficial.

Obviously it’s no substitute for an impact wrench but yes it should be fine. Certainly very torquey :)
