All OG players can agree that 5.5 was the worst update ever released into the game. I still remember it so well that I am surprised it has been so long ago.
Play since early 2015, stop when that ATMG is a things, play again, stop when that Missile is a things, play again, stop when i realized there is so many noobs nowadays and my clan mates (the clan leader) that be friends and play with me since late 2015 is "last online 3 year ago" and all first 30 members doesn't play this game anymore. Now this game is just a memories for me, this nostalgia feeling hit me like a truck, but that 8 years account will still with me till the game die... 😢
This game has become a part of my life, I have been playing it since 2014. I remember I was the only girl in the class who played this game, and every time I came home from school I played this game. There were a lot of moments, my first Ace Tanker, first Tier 10, first Kolobanov, first Rasseinyai and so on. But update 5.5 just changed everything, so many good tanks were fixed. Do you remember Hetzer with 105 mm cannon? T82 with 105 mm? Very funny tanks, destroying everything, but developers just took their cannon away. And some tanks were even transferred to another class of vehicles and they can no longer be purchased in the research tree. For example T-150, a very good heavy tank on Tier 6. Also, the community of the game was much better, in the old WoT Blitz everyone helping you in the chat when you are alone against enemy. But now... Everyone just saying that you are a noob instead of helping. Me as a veteran of this game, I just want they make a separate game with the old version of WoT Blitz, as it was with WoT Classic
@@BlitzWarriyo Yes, I remember them, and Luchs with Covenanter too, my favorite tanks on Tier 4. And also T-46 with OP automatic gun which did 200 damage. I remember all the tanks which were deleted from the research tree. It's sad that now it's almost impossible to get some of them
since 2016 when i was 12y old, playing this, learning the game, learn more than the game itself, i learn about phisics of projectiles and armor studying just cuz i like this game, i was 48% at this time but when come to 2022 i was already 61%, yeah was a good journey, i dont play 6 hours straight anymore cuz im 19 already and need work, i just enter to play some matches and thats all, Miss you old blitz
I had 4k battles at the end of 2019, when my dad gave me that account, with a winrate of 42,5%, zero Ace badges. Now I have 9 tier 10 tanks, a winrate of 46,6% with 10,2k battles and 30 Ace Badges.
Can’t believe it’s almost 7 years already. I remember during the Dracula and helsing event they gave out the tier 5(I forgot the name of it atm ffs) for ppl who couldn’t quite get the drac. Oh man hits home😢 I even remember telling my friend I got a free tank😅😂
I’ve played this game since 2015. I remember almost everything that’s happened to this game. The memories of getting my first tier 10 and getting my first 7 kill game still sticks with me. The hetzer 105 gun. The bt7 artillery. These were things the devs had to take away from us and as a veteran it saddens me to occasionally log into this game and see these mechanics gone and I will always miss them. I think this goes for every good game and good corporation, but the dire need and lust for money is the bigger killer of companies like this
Mine was e100 It's a shame the game is so bad now, me and my little brother used to have so much fun on blitz, we started playing in 2015 My account is still around, has some of the pretty cool relics from when wot was good and it was unfortunate to see how people forgot over time, suddenly playing a ke-ho made people wonder what it is. I had ke-ni otsu as well and Shinobi from before they started charging stupid amounts for it and before they changed the name, and the old mk1 heavy also lives on in my account's tank lost Good old days before everything became p2w
mad games whenj it first came out was fun. when the jump ability allowed you to climb anything with friends. could point the tank straight up on a rock and speed boost up rocks that are 90 degrees. great times
i started playing in 2018 but i wish i could experience the times of 2015....i found the game after update 5.5...its pretty sad that i couldnt enjoy that tier 1 tanks.

I've been playing this game since 2016, which was pure fun because then the first tiers weren't so destroyed by wargaming. Today, gambling is everywhere, everything is pay to win. This game is still fun, but it's not the same as it was back then

I played for 3 years in wotblitz and im in war thunder mobile ,i can say its much more interesting for me ,but when i remember t54 t62 t44 t54ltwt im becoming sad :(((((((
First event I remember vividly was the Annihilator event, I probably joined around 2018 or 2019. It was definitely after 5.5, but to think We're already WoTB vets of over 4 years at least, its wild.
The only thing makes me really angry is the way they removed insane amount of tanks. And they putting some of them back as collector tanks ( what is basically a worthless rarity because you get them like premium tanks but they don't have the same benefits) behind a pay wall. 😡
I remember as i first time played the game in november 2019 and i kinda miss the old map that have been removed the old times in WOT was just better but today WOT is not that fun anymore😭.
Thankfully i didn't sell the Nightmare on my Mobile acc, because it's from old Halloween event, and any tank that i got if it's Collector or prem, i wouldn't sold it

I started playing this game since 2015. Im one of the vets. Seeing how much this game changed (in a good way, idc what you guys say its my opinion) makes me happy. The game look more alive. This is an arcade based game it don't have to be realistic. It just need to be fun
Agree with the game is more alive, but the big problem from us all is update 5.5, and it isn't more fun like in 2016, like the pz IV was funny to play, and same to the T82. Everyone has their own opinion, free to say, but I think 80% of players would say that the worst update ever was 5.5
Been playing since I was a junior in high school back in 2015 or 2016 me and my buddy Daniel who passed away so time ago would platoon up and go wreak havoc in public lobby’s we played cat and mouse and do tier testing he had a bunch of tanks and premiums I was barely at my first tier 6 or 7 may he rest in peace I’m still playing for us bro keep on tanking guys and gals ❤🎉
started playing 2016 since my brother was into it.. I remember the helping and Dracula event that I knew I couldn't get either, since I didn't have the time and wasn't skilled enough... but hey I remember so much of this!
Ah back to when i was 8 years old, not knowing what armor is and kept shooting the red parts, when tech tree was better and there were more tanks which got removed or became collectable😢.who still remembers the old soundtracks in the loading page?
i have been playing for 4 years or 5 and the old times were the best. i didnt even know map strategies it was all fun, it still is but a lot has changed and i wish i could visit back to when i started playing
