Chieftain is just a cool looking tank with fairly decent armor normally while the 1B has sent better qualities. In the end, it depends on the player who knows how to use the tank and how to use the battlefield to their advantage.
I remember Wargaming's Guide Park video about the Concept 1B in WoT PC. The tank does not prefer to fight with heavy tanks and instead prefers medium tanks as its main competitors.
I was playing the chieftain mk.6 2 mins ago thinking 'when is someone going to do a comparison between this and the concept 1b...' then 5 minutes later... here you are... another great vid =)
I got the Concept 1b. I was dismayed at the 380 per shot,but I noticed this: it high rolls,A LOT. Of the the 11 pens I made in the 1b in one game,9 were almost 500 damage each,picked up an Ace first match.
my win rate on the mk6 is alot higher than the concept 1b, both at around 300 games or so. concept is at 56% and mk6 is at 66%, i feel like angling the mk6 hull down is easier, yes the concept is better at that but i tend to mess up alot more, the tank just feels weird to position, and i have that problem alot less than with mk6, that combined with the insane dpm of the mk6 makes me pick it over the concept anyday, i am however glad i got the concept, its still a very good tank, and if i can just figure out the perfect way to hull down it for each map, i assume its winrate will skyrocket. not entirely sure why it feels harder for me, but i just position and angle better with the mk6. edit: plus the mk6 is just a sexy sleek machine.....
Bailing out to the hvy side in the mk6 was a missplay, cost you the game. You should have held med side focused low hp tanks. Still might have lost, but better odds in winning. You lost potential 1200 to 1400 dpm driving to hvy side.
I bought 2 mystery boxes for 500 gold after selling the tiger avatar for 1k gold and got the chieftain in the second crate and its absolutely incredible.

Was 347 last night when I saw the refresh was 7 hours. So that’s a lot of gold spent at 16500 gold per unit and some even paid full price for it… I dunno, it’s nice but is it that important to have
Something that's also sad is that it's flat out better than the E5. It has better DPM, better mobility, better armor, the only things the E5 is better than it with is alpha and pen. Otherwise, it's a pay to win E5.
i got the concept 1b myself, and i find it pretty fun. only problem is the teams. i got 6 losses in a row, for a grand total of 0% wr in the tank in randoms. WG just did not want me to win when i got it lmao
I don't get it? my chieftain has NO HESH. I got APCR and HE with low pen just like every other tank? Plus the FV 402 has proper HESH as premium with a proper pen. So why keep referring to it as HESH when its not.
@Dean Payne It's still a high explosive squash head round. U can check urself. If you go to your ammo and press the information button it will tell you that it is a high explosive squash head round. And in game it acts and is modelled as a high explosive squash head round.
T95E6 is better than those 2 together, kills maus with one shot other side of the map. I got it as good offer but did not wanted to pay 16.500 Gold for Chiefm6
I would rather choose concept 1b than the chieften mark 6, the mark 6 have many holes on the turret, which is a scam, the game itself told it have 350 armor, which is a clear lie....the only thing I like about the chieften is that hesh and accuracy....it's not as good as action x, but it's comparable...giving the tank 2 apcr ammo is stupid tho for me, at least give the premium ammo like AP gold or sumthing. Or fixed the goddamn turret armor.
Bro, i got chief and i regret as hell, it should be a fcking heavy tank and its not, its mobility doesnt worth the lack of ammor. Anyway, wg is not going to fix it... Ridiculous.
...and super conquer is like action x, better than chieftain, maybe gun is the best but speed f.e, for ramming and protection are also important thing. T95E6 IS FAST And better protection
Is 7 60 tp vk 72, i do same damage with kpfz 70 and that's a s...t tank. Don't waste your money on collect tanks they all sucks,smasher,t22 vk 90 only respect is for super conquer.
