I'd have to say Blood dk tank orc is good, because of axe spec. Extra expertise is good, better than the other bonuses. Berserking doesn't help with tanking, because you spam icy touch for Aggro, and it scales with attack power, not haste. Blood Elves however have the racial, known as "Proper Posture". Also Arcane Torrent is nice cc against casters, but that's better on a Paladin imho.
Troll berserking often out-scales Orc SP/AP racial. As you get better gear you will often have more value from haste but the SP/AP is static throughout the expansion. Often Orcs are better early expansion and Trolls are better later in the expansion.

(useless, OK for rogues, wars I guess) -As a shaman you have a Ghost Wolf (increased movement speed by 40% + chance to absorb slows) which makes trolls racial for slow reducs less useful. -Increased attack and casting speed is actually pretty good, but in compare to orcs AP/SP bonus + shams instant spellcasts (shocks, purges, elemental mastery, etc...) -Bloodlust spell makes trolls speed bonus less useful. -Orcs stun reduc is actually more useful than it seems (it gets annoying for stun classes). If you compare all pros vs cons of orc and troll sham. You end up with orc to be a superior. It MAYBE a bit debatable with Ele/Resto specs, but its 1000% orc when it comes to Enha.
I generaly agree with your takes, but belf aoe silence is I think best racial for tanks, since you can interupt every mob that is in your proxymity. And can be really good in pvp as well. Keep up the good work mate, love your videos
@@xanakify I'd say the upside is huge. I wouldnt have come back and played a shaman in tbc. That's what my 60 was but I boosted a druid and love boomkin in tbc so I came back. Boost bring people into the game who don't wanna start all over but wanna play another class
I think for Classic I will go Unholy Orc, the reason being a little talent called "On a Pale Horse" that (among other things) reduce stun duration by 20%, which stacks with Hardiness, meaning you get a total of 35% reduction to stun duration! I figure that the troll racial isn't as worth it, since it is only for movement impairing effects, not stuns.
I like trolls. I do remember loving my Troll Hunter specifically in Wotlk. Da voodoo shuffle is huge for kiting death knights. And there will be a lot of death knights.
I think u underrate Belf silence in pvp for rogues. P sure a lot of ppl on private wotlk servers that play pvp go belf, if they play rogue for example. I mean that undead racial is rly good but it shares cd with ur trinket but as a belf u have an extra silence and u have a trinket anyways.
Thought Tauren would be more powerful to dk with the stun, might be wrong though also endurance is nerfed so theres that. But the nerf that you missed on Hardiness is big, makes me consider Troll instead of orc cause of it.
To make it less powerful. Undead has been the #1 best pvp race because of this racial up until this nerf. It was literally the highest represented race in all top teams back in the day. Even after the nerf undead was still top, until every man for himself was added.
If you play an orc rogue over a troll you're not playing the optimal pve race. Berserking is is like a second slice and dice on a 3 minute CD. Stack in with your CD macros
you rated UD and BElf barely under Orc but with Command/Blood Fury it puts them a solid bit above the other racials. You also rated BElf under UD but with Arcane Torrent not on the GCD its like they can double life tap. Though honestly pick the race you enjoy > other racials
I think the main reason why orc is now bis for rogue wasn't fully touched upon, as the sword spec talent in combat now includes axes as well I also think you give troll mage way too much credit in pvp over blood elf; it is true that berserking and DVS are great, but I think arcane torrent deserves far more credit as with how often mages need to be in close for things like going around a pillar and being in close to hit things like frost novas and cone of cold, as well as the advent of DKs coming in and holy/ret paladins being better than ever that arcane torrent just becomes a much more useful ability in pvp than it ever has been. I also kinda think belf warlock is more on level with undead warlock due to the wotf nerfs and magic resistance being what it is now since that also applies to DKs, mages, priests and paladins
I've seen a lot of creators making wotlk stuff. Maybe they know something we don't, or tbc isnt bringing the clicks. I get it though, because I am not hyped about phase 3 and more 25 mans.
Undead rogue is trash in wotlk PVP. Belf / orc is much better. The undead racial has almost no use what so ever. Almost all rogue arena combs include a friendly dispel ability and since all fear effects are magic effects (except wars) + since there is a 45 sec CD on either trinker or racial after you use one or the other, its not really that great. - 2 % hit by shadow dmg is OK, but not that big of deal. On the other hand orcs racial + stun reduc passive is really great in almost all situations. Since rogue is a setup-burst class, the dmg buff can be really helpful in combinations w shadowdance, etc. I believe stun reduc speaks for it self, but just a quick example, orc rogue can never be stun(kidneyshot/hoj)-sapped and thats pretty OP. Belfs racial ability is awesome too, silence + 15 energy gain is really powerful ability. Not to mention it kicks other classes out of stealth when hit I believe. - 2 % hit by spells is OK too I guess.

Yes!!! Undead rogue is just not that great on wotlk!!! Passives are not great/ok and racial is just not very useful at all. There are situations where it might get situational w undead, but orc is just 100% better in all situations.
Almost sure Orc racial Hardiness in wotlk now reduces Duration of Stuns by 15% rather than 15% chance of resist. Blizzard trying to remove all those rng
@@АлександрИВанов-ж5н4ь Talking only about PVE. He tied troll and orc for war when troll is the slightly better choice only on full bis gear. Before that orc all the way. For rog he put orc over troll, if anything they should be matched or troll should be over orc casue troll racial is better and it lines up with ur big cds, 5% exp on axes/fists comes handy at early tiers. For dks he matched troll with orc. According to smis it jsut isnt true at any point of the game. For dk tank he put troll on top. That's just trolling. Orc'c 5% expertise is huge for tanking to match hard cap 2nd best is blood elf for 2% spell dmg reduc. War tank(xd) same thing as with dk.
@Aleksa Milojević things i said was based on original wrath and tools made back then + some pserver shenanigans Right now Troll is turbo for snapshotting cause garg doesnt have haste cap so if blizz wont change anything it will be supperior race for unholy. Frost is still a strong specu just need a longer fight to see this. Its hard to show it on logs casue fights are quick and the crazy opener from unh doesnt flat out. Also i think when fights get more complex frost gonna be better but that's jsut my opinion. so unholy=troll, frost=orc If u wanna play both specs or later swap to frost just do orc.
Giving 10/10 to Trolls and Orcs numerous times, yet you personally claim the advantage goes to orcs most frequently.. just give troll 9/10, id respect that verdict more :) Also i find it odd you give orcs dk tank the lowest score. Bloodfury is sick extra threat cd.
5 expertise is worth more threat than any other talent. It's worth 150 expertise rating at 80, which is pretty crazy good threat stat, twice as good as hit when attacking from the front.
Sorry for the dislike, appreciate the effort. Just found that the rogue PvP info that I came for was a bit washy. Bane of casters why? A lot of statements as to what you think but not a lot to back it up. Thx again for content
Just let WoW live in TBC… it should have only been progression to TBC from the start with a few Classic only realms for the absolute purists. The game gets convoluted in Wrath and much of the aspects of the game there were balanced in TBC become unbalanced in Wrath.
