In this video, MD goes over all of the different Trust Master Rewards for Ultra Rare units in Final Fantasy Brave Exvius: War of the Visions and ranks them into different tiers (S, A, B, C, & D) based on the ability they possess as well as the statistical gains that they provide. In addition to a top-down ranking of all the UR TMRs in Final Fantasy Brave Exvius: War of the Visions, MD also provides tips for how to best utilize the different TMRs when building your ideal team for multiple facets of the game.
So if you've ever wondered what TMRs are most worth your time and resources, look no further and target as many of the UR TMRs in our top-10 as you can. While no UR TMR is "bad" (per se), there are definitely some that stand out as much "better" than the rest and it can make a world of difference to know if you are sinking valuable resources in the right places or not.

Runes will change all this, kinda weird that this was made just recently. EDIT: other thing is why zombie rairyuu TMR ranked low when it gives auto reraise for all units without restriction?

We wanted to release a pre-rune listing as, yes, runes will change the value of the vast majority of TMRs. We will create a V4 UR TMR rankings video in the summer after we've had a chance to see how runes change everything and after we've had a chance to playtest with them. And we LOVE Rairyuu (Halloween)'s Zombie Mask. Auto-Reraise is an amazing ability, but as mentioned in a lot of previous replies, in the grand scheme of things when we were playtesting so many different squads with different TMRs, the Zombie Mask rarely (if ever) was used in our ideal squad composition (even in 5-unit squads); there are just (by our estimation) so many other UR TMRs that provide more value than Auto-Reraise.

Curious how Runes actually change these? New player here. Should I stop farming for TMRs as a new player?

We wanted to release a pre-rune listing as, yes, runes will change the value of the vast majority of TMRs. Without the application of runes, we stand by our rankings. Also, we understand that there are those who love Robb's Glinting Armor and Louelle's Sage's Beret. One must remember that at the very beginning of the video, we state that ALL of the TMRs on this list hold value and are useful in their own way. Having all of the TMRs at our fingertips for playtesting, both Robb and Louelle's TMRs were rarely making an appearance in our top squads, and when they would, we could find a "better" combination of overall equipment for that unit in the end.

I have to disagree regarding Rhaldor's TMR being ranked so low in D-tier. It's clearly not one of the best TMRs in the game, but It's actually seen quite a lot of use for me. The accuracy it provides is absolutely not useless, and it's one of few TMRs that grant move+1 for 3 turns. Definitely not a shit tier TMR, in my opinion :P

I second this I needed rhaldor's tmr for one of my high scores in guild raid. Same with lemure's staff in pvp to stack single target resistance with vc's. Saved me countless times. I'm not sure what the criteria is for this maybe it's just general use but probably should say so. I'd imagine the comments a full of "great video but..." Now that we have the gift of future sight all tmrs are about to unpredictably useful.

@@kamiboshi5930 During the last limited guild battle, I put that TMR on my Nasha to make her move ahead of the rest of my team. It also seemed to allow her to hit targets that were set up to be semi-evasive. It may be a situational accessory, but I would've personally rated it much higher than that. Not only does it not take up an armor slot, but it comes with some accuracy, atk, def and a pretty decent chunk of HP.

@@DillaryHuff totally agree. I honestly don't think there is a bad tmr. A guild mate uses tiger Moore's tmr in his light wall to boost crit evasion which I think no one uses but you literally can't crit his WoL or whatever unit he uses it for until you're drained of AP. The "greatness" is really in the the application

@@kamiboshi5930 Yeah, I think that's largely true. Some older tmrs are definitely not as good as others, though. Delita's armor comes to mind :P It's an armor type tmr that consumes 20 AP to transfer it to an ally within 3 squares of the caster. The item itself has 8 def, 10 evade, 388 hp. I can't think of any situation where I'd want anyone to use that armor tmr. We have so much better alternatives at this point in the game.

Only thing I say is missing out of here is how many uses each TMR has. Some have two uses like Noctis, Elena, Kain, etc

I actually wanted to stop watching when you put Muraga Axe in The lowest tier, but I decided to skip through it anyway, then I decided to stop watching when you put Robb’s TMR glinting armor in B tier, this TMR is used extensively in PVE, Auto PVP and manual PVP.

Definitely difficult to keep up with all of the different units and TMRs, and if nothing else (for those who inevitably disagree with the positioning of some TMRs in this ranking), this listing can serve as a preview for upcoming units.

Why release a "pre-rune system" ranking 2 weeks before the rune system gets implemented? You could have released this 1...2 months ago, and only missed a couple of TMRs at the time. That would have been a lot more useful and impactful. It sort of seems like you wanted the "comment controversy" from people who pay attention on JP side to stir things up, rather than posting useful and accurate content for GL - since you're quite obviously aware that this ranking video will be obsolete in 7 days. Addiotionally - not sure how this video was updated on March 22nd - when it's only March 16th today...

28) Kains helmet WOULD have been ranked higher if it weren’t a HELMET which limits the units who can use it… 29) Charlotte’s SHIELD. (Interestingly no mention that absolutely no URs except Charlotte and Englebert can use it)

Don’t forget that kains helmet has two uses and is better than Araneas armor in almost every way yet they put her armor 10th….

@Ernest West, strongly disagree. Aranea's Dragon Armor has 3 uses, ALL of which we think are superior to both of the uses that Kain's Dragoon's Helmet provides. @Ian A, yes, Charlotte's Gransheldt Shield is VERY limited in who can equip it, but we had included that comment with Kain's Dragoon's Helmet because it boosts Agility and we LOVE our Agility at NN (with how much we emphasize Agility and place ALL of the rest of the Agility-based TMRs in our S-tier, we felt the need to give a reason why Kain's wasn't in our S-tier).

@@NerdNight no, I mean it has two casts. Dragon mail has one so not nearly as useful for guild wars. Not sure what you mean by dragon mail has “3 uses”. Kains helmet has two casts and gives 42% haste compared to 25% agility for the mail. And it gives move which is better than ability activation reduction which is more niche. How you can say straight faced that dragon mail is better is beyond me.

I feel like Lara’s TMR is somewhat underrated sometimes cuz some players overlook it but if you have a critical focused unit like Lara Croft then this TMR will provide a big damage boost and can let you attack more at a distance plus that accuracy is always nice for dealing with evade units and Lara Croft herself could be a monster when Global gets the TMR enhancements in about 2-3 weeks. Also I think Noctis’ TMR is better than bells sure you get a little less AP regen but you also get protect to make you a bit more beefier against an attack.

Dont forget, the terrible tmr weapons wont be terrible anymore once 2yr anniversary comes and we are able to 'mod' TMR's. From what I have heard, they can be better than normal weapons... at the very least you can expect to be able to make them not garbage anymore.

I'm a few minutes in and I'm seeing these Acc Tmr's on the bottom ... am I misunderstanding how acc buff works ? Could u explain please ? I used rhaldors TMR to place 110 in arena last week on Cetia, and Elsies tmr in selection quest the week before to kill Pharm on a stage 10 quest. Is there a reason that Acc isn't valuable ? Going to continue watching, keep up the great work, Cheers!

Which is actually more dangerous, especially for newer player / f2p. They could spent valuable resources for getting TMRs that they don’t actually need.

@@gavxmas well I have to disagree with you, if you play long enough, you can build Robb or other legacy units pretty easily. If you are new player you also got a lot of benefits that you could use, also Robb with MA2 is very decent that can be used in PVE and PVP.

@@wotv7732 the problem with that approach is using resources to build legacy units for a TMR that only has real application at the top of the game means you don't have those resources to try keep up with the meta. You now have a TMR but lack the units. Not to mention almost all legacy units also require a VC which you may never get at this point without using the few select tickets we get for free. The standard pool is far too big nowadays to recommend that approach to F2P. If you're a new player who has bank to roll, that's different but there are other guides for that

Thank you @gavxmas for your comments. Here at NN, we are focused on F2P, and when creating an UR TMR ranking list, we try to keep this in mind. Our entire S-tier is anything with Agility bonuses (with the exception of Kain's Dragoon's Helmet), but our A-tier has 8 easily attainable units for F2P players, 8 limited release units for F2P to target when released depending on what they need on their roster, 5 units that haven't been released yet, and 1 "premium" unit (King Mont if the RNG gods favor that F2P player). Structurally, more goes into building our ranking list than a straight-up crude "best" to "worst" approach. We understand this will cause conflict with some that have opinions on what their "best" to "worst" list would look like, but balance between available units, limited units, and not yet released units is one of the pieces of our formula for how we have our rankings.

Wtf… already WRONG. Lameiga TMR is like THE TmR on JP for strike characters like Tifa because of runes. Even snuggles could be useful in pve/raids if you don’t have a character that can lower unit resist in the party. Aranea’s armor over Kains helmet hahahahahahaha.

As with any rankings list, there will inevitably be mixed feelings as everybody has different opinions. Robb's Glinting Armor seems to have hit a vein in this particular rankings version, and even though MD is a BIG Robb enthusiast and loves his TMR, when we had a full roster of UR units to use and playtest with, with rarely found ourselves using his TMR in our top composed squads.

@@NerdNight 100% agree. I think the timing of this list threw people for a bit of a loop too. For example, including JP TMRs, but not factoring in runes - seeing a few comments on that. I don't envy you guys having to go through so many TMRs and ranking them. I always appreciate your content no matter what.
