I kinda wish this was “Would these Sci fi Teams survive Helldivers” because I think some of these characters work better with teams like Marcus Felix, Yautja and Commander Shepard

Yautja have much more advanced tech but it's rarely ever shown since the times we see them it's during hunts,were they bring only what's necessary to effectively hunt & kill what they have chosen as their prey. So they probably do have really powerful explosives but they ain't gonna use it if theirs something worth to continually hunt for their species.

Master Chief, Captain Rex, Isaac Clarke, and v1 should be next.

Sci fi Heroes vs Halo Flood Invasion

So, looking into it, Yautja do have explosives. They have proximity mines, sure in the movies they didn't explode, but in expanded media they have.

In prey the predator had explosive drones that I think would be effective at clearing holes and fabricators, if not I could see him tossing one of the explosive canisters that are always lying around into them like a football.

24:10 Aloy has taken the machine guns off of pre-apocalypse robots and used them against her opponents before, and her Focus would give her a summary if it’s connected to any database, which the Helldivers would at least connect her to- or if they don’t, she’d find a way to connect on her own. It’d also allow her to rapidly identify and highlight the weakspots on enemies, since it does that in game. Aloy’s so good because she found an augmented reality cellphone on a corpse when she was 6 then trained till she was 19 to pass a test to become a soldier in her tribe. The focus highlights info others can’t see. Tribes that aren’t technophobic in the game engineer plenty of impressive tech considering how young the post apocalyptic humanity is, and everyone with a Focus gets a notable boost in competency in-game. In a DLC she gains futuristic nano-tech arm cannon weapons and figures those out so I’m sure she’d adapt to automaton weaponry fast

I think that once the Helldivers see what Aloy can do especially the hacking. Then the Helldivers would want to keep her alive since I don't think they have many hackers as they see usefulness in Aloy.

I mean you are 100% right about Shepard. He's even fought things similar to both of those factions. Geth/Automatons and Rachni/Terminids. The Terminids even fight like the Rachni. They get up close and rip people apart, spit acid everywhere, and burrow underground. Have him fight the bugs on an ice planet and he'll get a real strong sense of déjà vu.

For the Yautja, you appear to be limiting them to only what you've seen in the movies and have ignored/forgotten about the books, comics, and games. The Yautja definitely have access to explosives other than their self-destruct device, as well as access to heavy weapons that would have no problem dealing with the automaton factories or bug nests. They don't tend to use them on their hunts because it removes the challenge. For a more military operation, however...

The rail gun can destroy the automaton factories meaning the predator could 100% destroy the factories with his plasma caster

The key to surviving the Terminids from my experience playing Helldivers is more crowd control than just being concerned about mobility. If you don't have the guns and/or don't stay on top of your ammo usage anyone will get overwhelmed eventually. In fact, running around in circles in a panic kinda is what the Terminids want you to do because it allows them and their reinforcements to spread out around you and more easily box you in with no escape at all. You kinda want to be a little more methodical in trying to kite and herd them together rather than just being all fast and running around randomly.

The four of these characters together would make a very good squad. Shepherd is the brawler who can get in close, take a hit and hit back harder. Marcus is fire support. He stays at range killing anything small with the lancer and anything big with the hammer of dawn. Alloy would provide single target damage. She could easily get behind heavy enemies and put an explosive arrow in to a charger butt or a heat sink. And the Predator is the scout. He could get to parts of the map that a larger squad would be spotted. He could kill anything less than a heavy and mark anything he couldn’t kill for the rest of the squad. Predator is also the kind of diver to immediately mark the super sample rock from the map, then do all of the secondary objectives.

If you added the Predator to this, you actually invited an alien to the destroyers of the Helldivers

The predator suicide bomb would nuke the entire map. They can also detach the bomb and hurl it like a grenade. The predator would essentially arrive, drop the mic, leave.

Honestly Helldivers 2 is probably the easiest universe to survive in. Just stay away from super earth and don’t attack the terminids or automatons

Fighting Terminids is just another Tuesday for Marcus. The Locust fight the exact same way as the terminids AND have high tech guns. As for the Yautja, most of what we see in the movies amounts to the equivalent of a bunch of rowdy teens out with their grandparents for a coming-of-age hunt after stopping at Cabela's for some hunting supplies. Their actual military is fucking scary. Like blow up the entire planet and go home type of shit. Thats not even getting into how, armed with nothing but their wrist blades, the Yautja seeking to become a clan leader will go into a xenomorph hive and come back with the Queen's head. The CQC prowess of these guys is nuts.

This is a good idea, but I think there are some points that need to be cleared up or corrected. The Predator/Yaytja: They do indeed have explosives. In some of the games, predators have used explosive charges against enemies. There are some who also use drones. That and some iterations of the plasma caster do indeed use explosive shots. Aloy: Aloy is going to be fine. Her focus is what gives her all her technology knowledge, and her world isn’t as backwards as you think it is. Ripping weapons off of machines and using them is pretty common in Horizon, so it not far fetched to think she'd do the same with the automotons. Her shields are also far stronger than you think, and she does have active camouflage. Against the bugs she's not really that screwed. Bile titans do indeed have weak spot like their bike sacks, and if nothing else Aloy has elemental ammunition. Even if you argue the bugs are resistant to acid, she has electric, plasma, ice, and fire ammunition, even adhesive to slow them down. And thats not coubting the armor piercing or explosive ammunition. Living creatures do indeed have vital organs that can be targetted. The other bugs aren't much of an issue either. The fodder get cleaned up by her multitude of traps and AOE bombs that leave aftereffects. Stalkers go invisible? There's a machine called the stalker that does the same thing, and then some. Shriekers can fly? Plenty of machines can fly and fight at range or up close. Nothing the terminids bring is new to her. I'd say she does almost as good against them as she does against the automotons.

tbh for shepard..... there's two scenarios. 1: he's any class but biotic and does okay. 2: he's biotic class and just dominates the battlefield.

Couple of minor things about Aloy... the only reason she's a tech genius in her world is that she ignores the taboos of her society. The ruins of the old world and profane grounds, simply going into them is cause for exile. She is curious about things that everyone else shuns and ignores. Also in terms of her making use of guns and having to learn from scratch... actually she is already somewhat familiar with them. There are raiders who hide out in old world ruins and cobbled together gatling/chain guns, which Aloy can use without too much difficulty aside from their weight (which she can train to handle better). So she could adapt to using firearms pretty quickly if the situation demanded it, but it would still likely be a last resort as it doesn't fit the rest of her skill set.

When you think about it... The IMC and Militia Corps use helldiver methods of dropping people in from space on a massive scale, The IMC imo could wipe the floor with a lot of sci fi factions, the people we fight in TF|1 and TF|2 are just remnants of an expeditionary force, the main forces of the IMC are still in the core worlds, Pilots are just spartans that trade armour for ridiculous mobility and gear like grappling hooks, invis, and creating fake holograms, not to mention that they can sock a robot in the chest and instantly kill them with bare fists. Titans are really underrated, they can literally go into an alternate dimension for a limited time and northstar has a massive railgun that i would bet can pierce a tank pretty easily

Sci fi Enemies vs Helldivers

Without watching the video, assuming all these characters are aligned with the Helldivers: Marcus - Survives, expert at squad-level combat against numerically superior foes, as well as giant beasts like Berserkers and Brumaks. Weapon tech is very close to Helldivers. Yautja/Predator (assuming experienced hunter) - Thrives, his cloaking tech and plasma caster gives the hunter a massive advantage over most anything on the field, not to mention his collection of weapons that are superior to most Helldiver tech, even though they're super exotic and eccentric Aloy - lol, lmao Shepard - Single-Handedly ends the war, even faster if he has a squad with him, especially since his tech is absurdly superior to anything the Helldivers or Automatons have, he would go through Bugs and Bots like a hot knife through butter.

17:49 Argument for the predator, in some of the other media involving the predator, they actually do have explosives. For example, in the 2012 Alien vs Predator game, the predators have mines that they can toss down. So they can actually complete the mission, albeit with mines instead of grenades. (PS, Yautja is pronounced yow-cha, if that helps)

For the Predators they would have a much better chance if you went beyond the movies. Most if not all of their actual military weapons are *FORBIDDEN* to be used during hunts because of how powerful and unfair it would be to use them against prey. For example Blazer: The blazer is a shoulder-mounted energy projector used by military caste Yautja that fires a sweeping inferno beam. Killscreen Generator: This weapon uses dark plasma streams guided by a tracking device that neutralises any incoming projectiles up to and including rockets Burner: Burners shoot streams of hot plasma, they resemble and function much like a Human assault rifle

This one seems more survivable then most universes

See , the thing is with the Termanids is that , they can't see , they use their heightened smell and hearing to hunt , that's why you can't sneak against them in the game so stealth isn't an option with the Nids

28:06 gotta say Aloy literally have invisibility. Like theres a whole skill tree for her to be actually intractable. So i think she'd fair a bit more just by getting in and out. And she has her focus than can tell her everything about anything she scans! So for Automatons shes the perfect counter to all of them. She could infect tthem with a rouge A.I. that can take down a whole camp, or just go gunsblazing and take over multiple units to turn them against the Automatons

Now as a big fan of Horizon I do just want to point out some things. You did a great job but I just wanted to point out some things that give Aloy more survivability and correct a miss conception. Spoilers to everyone else I highly recommend this game series. 1. She actually does have a lot of area of effect tools and weapons that can help tremendously against groups of enemies and even big ass guns that she's gotten off of enemies she's killed (though they are temporary weapons) and there's even a rapid fire crossbow shotgun thing called the rattler (the best damn thing ever) and fast firing one shot crossbow so she can most likely handle most guns or has enough options for a few encounters. I've literally ended up getting into those situations and while they're tough, if you got full storage upgrades you can take on an entire army or big portion of one, hell that's actually the final battle in the first game. 2. She also has melee skills capable enough to take on packs of small to medium machines without firing a shot and she has a lot of buff items to keep her going. 3. She actually has a lot of ranged precise explosive weapons like the Blast Sling (Which travels in an arch) that could allow her to hit the nests without being right on top of them or even in the base. 4. Hitting the components make killing the really big machines easier but they can be killed by just hitting the general body of it though it takes a while her bows have a ton of power and she does have fire ammo and other ammo types to slow down or whittle down big targets and her Focus (a mini super computer on her temple) works on biological foes too so she can learn what makes them tick but not as well if they were tech. 5. She actually has had to fight a shit ton of flying enemies and has counters and has had to fight a pack of machines that turn completely invisible and shoot at her with mini rail guns or devastating melee attacks so she can counter that. 6. She's actually a clone of one of the smartest people to have lived in that alternate world so her brain is more naturally tuned to tech, especially since a machine made her but she also learnt about tech more than most (because she definitely isn't the only one who can do what she does) is because she had access to what is essentially a super computer since she was a kid that was made so anyone can learn how to use it. She was also trained by one of the greatest hunters in an entire region since she was a kid, I just wanted to defend that there is a reason why she's a badass like she is.

I'm surprised you didn't pull out Master Chief for this one. Also, Aloy is the one character I think would side with the Terminids. Stealth around them enough and you'll start to notice they act far more human-like, some even singing while marching. The moment she connects with them and learns their history, is the moment she'll turn against Super Earth.

You gave gears the hammer of dawn so the predator should have his ship which should be more than capable of blowing up bases.

I think you should do match ups where the helldivers fight other sci to enemies. Like covenant, Prometheans from halo, the factions from titanfall maybe, the aliens from crisis, or xenomorphs could be an interesting battle.

Weird that you picked out a mission type that only has 12 minutes of mission time, but talked about it as if it were the regular 40 minutes.

Fun Fact about the Lancer the chainsaw bayonet was added after Tai used a chainsaw against a Locust and Marcus saw how effective it was, a regular bayonet had problems penetrating the tough hide of the Locust. The chainsaw was mainly to be used to remove barricades and other blockages in a Gears path, even the manual said that it was not to be used on enemies except as a last resort and to wear proper protective gear (a full covering helmet) when doing so because of debilitating injuries due to bone fragments flying everywhere.

Predator would make a nice support stratagem for chaff whacking.

There is a major thing you forgot with the Helldivers missions though. It's a teeny tiny very major thing. *Destroying bug nests and bot fabricators is not the primary objective of any mission a Helldiver goes on.* It is something tertiary you can do along the way as you accomplish the primary mission objective. There are also secondary objectives where you are supposed to fuck up special structures or arm an artillery cannon to help you fuck up the enemy. While it doesn't change much for Fenix or Shepard, it greatly changes things for Aloy and the Predator. Aloy's greatest advantage is stealth. Well, the bugs operate off scent to track your ass down and kill you as much as sight so she's fucked either way there. On bot worlds though, they got Eye of Sauron style detectors that drop three dropships worth of fuckery on your head when you are detected by anything, and they *will* detect anything that comes close enough. There are also roaving patrols of gunships that have a large detection radius and stay out of bow range, lobbing rockets at you. Then there's the primary missions. When you start doing those, the enemy knows exactly where you are and always comes in force. I don't see any way she'd survive and accomplish the mission objective. The Predator, though. Major change for the better. He can stealth his way over to any primary objective and complete it, then extract easy peasy. He'd get in trouble if he thought a Bile Titan or Hulk would make a good trophy on his wall, but if he stays mission focused, yeah, he can win it. He'll be thought of as a pussy by the Helldivers because he didn't accomplish anything but the primary objective, and if the primary objective is to blow up anything yeah, he's fucked. Most primaries are go here, activate this, then watch the fireworks though so he'd do fairly well.

Depending on if you want to include the games, the predators do actually have bombs. I believe it was avp2 and avp 2010. They hurl them, and it loges in a wall or a floor or something. And they can press a button on the wrist gauntlet to set it off. Or if something enters its range. Pretty big explosion.

If you do a second video about this add the Master Chief and Noble Six from the Halo games because knowing how deadly those two are the bots wouldn't stand a chance. Also can youadd ARC trooper Fives and Captain Rex from the 2008 Clone Wars Series and Commander Fordo from the 2003 Clone Wars Micro Series if you don't mind

Quick notes on both Factories and Bug nest in HD2 you can blow them up from decent range, I often employ hit and run tactics on big nests/bases, it's usually the fastest way to deal with them, the only catch is you might have to work your way around to get angles to shoot directly into either the front door or vents on the factory or the front of a bug hole. But an important correction is that if you make a big enough boom close enough or with enough armor pen, either will still be destroyed, it's basically just that the targets are armored from other directions, mess around with thermite grenades if you don't believe me. Marcus is def fucked but he could kill nests, just... it won't matter. The Predator canon would 100% blow up bases for either, in game Quasar canon does basically the same thing. Aloy can basically employ the same tactics as anyone with slow fire weapons on heavy difficulty, but her weapon is only going to make noise at impact point which is her biggest advantage. She can survive bug it's gonna be tricky but you can outmaneuver bug attacks which she definitely has the ability to do.

I will say. When it comes to Predator, they live for the hunt. However, they will adapt to certain situations and use things they dont normally have. You have to remember, they keep and may even use items from previous battles. Just because the Yautja is against the Terminids and Automatons doesnt mean he cant just throw the grenades back to the automatons, or retrieving an explosive from a helldivers area (wether they consent or not)

Maybe Hell diver command can provide some strategem support for the predator so he can actually finish the mission :)

Blowing up automaton factories and bug holes is optional (exept one mission type), so the Predator could finish the main missions easy.

Just wanna ask, will you eventually revisit the doom survival series? There are some characters (particularly V1 from ultrakill and samus from metroid) that might have potential of soloing most of the demons, and i really was excited to hear you talk about how exactly you’d think V1 in particular would do

You forgot to mention that the Stratagem Jammer would probably effect the Hammer of Dawn. He would still probably be fine if he has grenades or mortars though. EDIT: I feel like hed probably fare a lot better against the Terminids if he also had a Booshka or a Gnasher. If he just has a Lancer though, yeah, he's kinda screwed.

Thing with Fenix.... the dude is used to going down holes to fight hordes of enemies, even hand-to-hand.... the grunts of the Locust attack in swarms, they're fast af, and engage up close. Yes The Hammer of Dawn is strong, but he closes up Locust holes all the time using his grenades. Also, those granades have longer range than normal grenades. Not to mention the enemies he faces in GoW 4 & 5, Snatchers & such... he's able to deal with them... he also faces off against a ton of bigger locust... like those giant siege beatles or the giant kracken-like bugger....

I probably don't have to defend Shepherd from a lot of people here, but i want to point out the N7s since they weren't mentioned. N7 is the highest level of training the humans of Mass Effect can receive from the Alliance Military. It basically certifies him as an expert in all military operations. The final test includes surviving alone on a desert asteroid with limited supplies until the oxygen runs out. Shephard is a survivor of even the most hostile battlefields

Actually, Marcus could easily drop a laser on bug holes, too. The problem with the Super Earth Orbital Laser is that it only attacks things classified as enemies. The robot factory bases ARE classified as enemies and the SEOL will target them and hit them automatically if they aren't too busy killing other enemies. Bug holes are not detectable by the SEOL and won't be targeted by the laser. A trick to get the laser to target the bug holes is to get near a bug hole, which encourages bugs to spawn out of the hole, which then causes the laser to attack the bug and thus the hole too.

They did do a Predator vs Terminator in a comic when Skynet was trying to control the Xenomorphs

The reason the Lancer Assault Rifle has a chainsaw bayonet is because a regular bayonet proved insufficient to deal with the Locust. The bayonet on the Retro Lancer had a tendency to snap after deflecting off the rock hard skin of the Locust.

You know what a better soldier is than Shepherd? Any of the soldiers from the Contra series. They run through waves of aliens without any fancy weapons or armor. They die from one hit, which means that not only are they totally badass running around in sleeveless shirts, but they have to be agile and dodge bullets.

Going by the comics the yautja has Grenades in fact in the Comic Alien vs. Predator: Sand Trap the yautja straight up creates a pretty big explosion with a single Grenade. Big enough that one might actually be enough to destroy a automton base

one thing to note is that Aloy might not be able to interact with automaton systems since they aren't running the hades software machines use in horizon, therefore unless she has a way to get into encrypted automaton networks (assuming automaton's receive updates off some kind of network) she has no way to give overwrite instructions, to even make those instructions and interact with the system, relies on hades and automaton code and code language to be compatible, because the machines from horizon were made with compatibility in mind and automatons are not, she also doesn't have any network permissions or privileges' in automaton systems and her tech isnt going to give that to her.

Yautja have incredibly advanced technology and weaponry, they absolutely have powerful explosives. Before a hunt they take the weapons they deem to be the most appropriate for the given situation which tends not to be explosives as they prefer stealth. If they were dealing with the Automatons they would bring in explosives as they tend to see robots as just advanced weaponry so dealing with them in a more honorable fashion is not really required. They could also just have their ship bombard a target from orbit if they really needed to.

Predator is like a stalker on steroids, bro can turn invisible, it’s going to be a pain in the ass to kill, except he actually uses long range weapons which makes him way harder to kill.

OK so the Predators... A: I'd be flabbergasted if a space fairing civilization didn't have *SOME* kind of explosives they could deploy. We never see them use anything like that because they never really *NEED* to... soo you could possibly argue a hand wave of if they understood the mission they could figure something out. That being said, B: They may not even give a shit about the mission. A planet full of deadly murder bots/bugs is a fucking holiday resort to these guys.

I would say, Alloy has used massive mini guns before, so guns aren't a foreign concept to her, so she could adapt to new weapons easier than you think

it's funny to see that in 19:11 the hunter may be the lowest in the caste and you do not know of the higher castes that make the hunter look like poachers and can have a full-on war with the bots if needed. I saw in one of the games how they destroyed a ship with one shot so their military is very well-equipped to destroy bases

Great video, you should do the reverse and talk about invasions that Helldivers could fight. I was in the HD discord earlier, and since that came up I'll share that I think the Helldivers could beat Necromorphs from Dead Space, but would have a tough time with the flood from Halo. I feel like they are a little better off than the grunts from Halo (UNSC, right?), but have no Master Chief to bail them out, forcing them into a pitched engagement. (Long post from here) To be fair, Helldivers are canonically prohibitively expensive. It's part of the absurdity of the HD universe, everything is simultaneously expendable and ridiculously expensive. In fact, I might just try to write a short story about the guys whose job it is to recover their lost equipment. Anyway, these characters would at best be considered mercenaries and would not be approved for any stratagem budget. Marcus is from the original cover shooter, cover wasn't really a thing before Gears, which is wild to think about now. I believe it is pronounced "yow cha," almost "ouch" with a "cha" at the end. Similar to "yowza" but with a sound similar to the "ch" in check instead of a z. One thing I always remind people is that as badass as Predators are, they have reverse plot armor, they always lose. Could probably get some good kills though, I could see one keeping a stalker head as a trophy, that would be a good fight. Just don't send them after a bile titan. Chargers probably cause them problems too. I feel like they wouldn't bother fighting automatons since there is no honor in it. Man I was thinking Aloy wouldn't get far since I haven't played the game but it only took a few lines before I realized she would decimate automatons easily (watching her take down an AT-FS would be sick, but she would have to isolate it somehow). Would probably struggle against terminids though. One thing you showed in that one shot, though, is that SHE CAN SWIM. That is so huge in HD universe, on top of the climbing she got better mobility than the jump pack. I disagree, I think she could take down a bile titan or a charger, that's actually familiar territory for her. Bile Titans lose their ability to spew if you bust their sack, and she has freeze stuff and explosives to deal with chargers. However, a bunch of them would give her problems, and they are never alone so fighting them while fighting smaller bugs would be her undoing. On the plus side, she has high escape potential. The terminids are somewhat easy to outrun in a lot of situations, can't swim, and it would be tough for the bugs to chase her on that parachute thing... until you remember the shriekers. I honestly think the flyers and the stalkers (even hunters) are a way bigger problem for her than a BT or charger, those are familiar territory for her, they have exploitable weaknesses. She could do a mission, just not on Helldive, she probably have to keep the difficulty down low, and ammo is a huge concern for her since she can't make more. She could probably improvise ammo from bots. Damn right Shepard owns, even the basic soldier class has way better shielding than anything in HD. The guns in ME are all railguns, imagine a pistol capable of blowing the head off a charger just by mag dumping. Tech powers would clap automatons, infiltrator has stealth, engineer has turrets galore without the friendly fire or long CD, Biotics clap everything so hard is not even with talking about, Sentinel can fight either faction, and the Vanguard...boy howdy, the vanguard would be hilarious. Not to mention he gets heavy weapons and his basic rifles and pistols are stronger than HD machine guns.

The Yautja aka the Predator do have explosives they just haven't shown it in the movies. And the Predators don't usually like using it because its too easy to kill their opponents making the hunt boring and not honorable. So they prefer using the plasma cannon, plasma gun, and plasma rifle instead. Also the Predator is known for stealing technology and implementing them into their arsenal just like ayloy. If they come across something they deem interesting and it helps get the job done then they will learn about it and adopt it. They even did this with magic when they discovered it. This was seen in one of the Mortal Kombat games when you beat the game as The Predator. Also I'm pretty sure that they would fight the strongest creature and if they had fun they would probably kill the Queen or take the Queen or her eggs and put them on a different planet to use as a hunting ground. (Maybe that's why they're so many bug planets) lol.

Gears of War has the Torque Bow, a Locust weapon that fires explosive crossbow bolts. If the explosive on these bolts is strong enough it can the used to blow up bug nests from distance. There's Also the Lancer GL, which replaces the chainsaw with a grenade launcher and it will do even better work at blowing up the nests from range.

Predators have mines that would most likely do the job on nests plus their suicide explosive proves that they are capable of explosives and could pretty easily just make grenades etc even if they don't already have them

"Gordon doesn't need to hear all this, he's a highly trained professional." I think Gordon Freeman would be fine in Helldivers, especially the Black Mesa version. Late game, he has a thruster pack and the science team keeps teleporting in ammunition. The Gluon Gun would probably be OP AF, and he's a walking armory besides that, who can also pick up, figure out, and use alien weapons (because he's a NERD). Lastly, his trusty HEV (Hazardous EnVironment) suit allows him to tank about two tanks shells, and be resistant to acid. So he has speed, armor, weapons, and 'limitless potential'. Yeah, I think Gordon Freeman wouldn't only survive, he'd become FEARED. He's the guy that solos entire planets.

They're chainsaws because regular bayonets couldn't cut through the Locust and the Chainsaw did enough damage to kill em. No clue how they made it not jam but it's fucking awesome

Shepard has the gear and skills to solo. When you actually read the lore the weapons and tech are crazy OP.

Yautja (pronounced yau-Cha for you poor 'muricans) do have access to explosives. They have laser-sensored sticky mines, as one example, and also remote detonated plasma mines. He could also take out fabricators by detonating machinegun troopers (their backpack can be exploded, which can destroy a fabricator) or jetpack troopers as they are coming out of the fabricator.

Yautja do have weapons that would help against Automaton Factories and Terminid Bug Holes... the weapons that they use, atleast those which are shown, are for hunting only. They are not for extermination. In the Yautja culture using highly developed weapons, or weapons of war against another species is seen as a weakness, it takes away from the thrill of the Hunt, which is litterly the thing that makes them Yautja, the Hunt is their entire culture. In the Aliens vs Predator™ Videogame released on 16th of February, 2010, it was shown that a Yautja "Mothership" destroyed the USS Marlow, a Bougainville-class attack transport ship of the United States Colonial Marine Corps, which was deployed as a response to a distress singal after a Xenomorph outbreak on BG-386. After analysing the ship's constitution (wether or no it was armed) the Yautja frigate immediatly opened fire, after having briefly decloaked. It took just 1 shot. Technically speaking the Yautja could infact use the same weaponary as a orbital strike, but as I said it is considered cowardly, a weakness. If the Yautja is a Bad Blood then it would fare a lot better since they would use cheap tricks.

16:00 counter point, the lancer mag is pretty high, he has shotguns, and he reloads pretty fast. Not to mention wrenches are a thing in gears. Fast and small melee fighters are litterally an enemy in the game. Acid isn't a huge deal cause he's used to the imulsion. The bugs are weak to incandiary and poison. To further your point on shepard, guns from mass effect 1 have infinite mags. Also they impact hard enough that a basic pistol from mass effect can theoretically destroy a bile titan based off mass effect lore.

A lot of explosive guns can destroy automaton and bug nests. So I think it’s fair to think the predators plasma canon can destroy them. Also I imagine he would use the automaton grenades against them.

Automatons have grenades, predator could throw them in the factorys. Places of interest have explosive barrels which they could be thrown into bug holes. Not fighting by the rules of the game but they were never forced to play against them anyway.
